Well, did anyone manage to find a qi-adapter that fits on a U11 life?
Maybe i'm using the wrong keywords.
Could find some pics from a charger with a sided connector on GooglePics but not a trustworthy Store.
Am i the only one who wants that.. [emoji849]?

I was searching online for days and wasnt able to find an adapter that fits for the U11 life. Funny link to that video "how to" but this is just for standard devices with usb connection in the middle, the U11 life has it on the far right side so the usual adapters dont work
Just received this one:

Fits and now its loading up my mobile.
Lets see how the qi-module does the job...

stock charger is 1.5A
You can use other 2A or even Qualcomm Quick charge 2.0 chargers to charge in a much shorter time.
My Z3 came with a 1500ma charger so doubt that figure is correct.
However, the 4 hour charging time sounds about right.

Ah I see. I am considering the Note 4 too. Guess the Note 4 will charge alot faster then hmm. The website says that the note 4 charges in arnd 1 hour 40 minutes due to that fast charger.
Is the Z3 compatible with quick charge 2.0? In theory every device with the snapdragon 800/801 is but my nexus 5 surely is not for example , have you guys tested it ?
According to Qualcomm it is:

Works. I'm using the Tenergy Turbo charger and the LED changes to indicate Quick Charge 2.0. Only works through USB though and not through the magnetic port.

Unfortunately no, and I'm not willing to run down my battery to test it. I can tell you that it charges amazingly quickly with the QC2.0 working.
Why you dont want to put your battery to 0%? Every month you should put your battery to 0% to calabrate it.

No, you shouldn't. Life of lithium batteries are shortened when they are brought all the way down to 0. Although minor, just not something I want to do. Plus, I don't want to not charge my phone for 2+ days
What model charger does your z5 came with? Mine is a UCH10 is that a quick charger? If so is there a way to turn off quick charge while charging?
I've got a UCH20 which has got an output of 1500mA at 5V. Btw I'm living in Germany so different sockets over here. Maybe that's why I have another model than you.
Haven't seen any settings regarding quick charge. Why would you like to turn it off?
Gesendet von meinem E6653 mit Tapatalk
I just thought if quick charge always on during charging would affect the battery lifespan
On my charger output 5.0V-1800mA, 9.0V-1700mA, 12.0V-1275mA, my z5 is a Canada bell e6653
Sent from my E6653 using Tapatalk
I received the UCH20 with my UK Z5, which lead me to buy the Aukey quick charge charger.
As far as I'm aware, once the battery hits 100% charge, the phone runs via the power source it is connected to and not the battery.
I got the uch20 too not fast charge grrrr its poor of Sony to do this when your paying a premium
Has anybody seen a desk stand with quick charge 2.0?
I don't want anything where I have to put the cable on manually!
charging stand
VicTsing Desktop USB Data Sync Charging Docking Station Cradle Charger Adapter Holder Mount For HTC ONE
It was advertised on Amazon for the M8, but I asked and sure enough it works for the M9, I ordered another one and am very happy with them both, very easy to move around.

All I know is it takes less than 5 minutes to charge 20% (approx). I have it plugged into a lutron usb in wall combo usb plug. The cord is fast charging because when I used another cord the phone told me it was slow charging, I plugged the cord that came with it in again and it gave no warning.

Does it work with a case on the phone? If so, what kind of case are you using? How thick is it?

This is the case I have on my HTC
FosmonĀ® HTC One M9 / Hima 2015 (DURA-FRO) Ultra Slim Flexible TPU Gel Case Cover - Fosmon Retail Packaging (Clear)
(sorry still under my 10 post thing, so couldn't post the link)
It has a little bit to spare as far as sitting in the holder goes. It works for me, I've had complements on it, although it *is* cheap, because it is clear it does not look cheap, it comes off easily and suits my purpose.
I simply use one of these with a QC2 charger plugged in. It is technically for the M8, but the M9 fits as well. It also has a removable insert to allow for a case as well. Search around, it was only $16 when I bought it.

The problem is that these docks have its own condensators etc. (lets say power supply) which normally don't let "pass" the voltage of QC2. QC2 goes up to 12 V, the normal docks allow only 5 V.
Are you sure you get QC2 voltage with this dock?

Why would they bother with that? It would cost more.
Out of curiosity I just cracked it open. Nothing but a wire connecting the female plug with the male plug. I haven't put it to the test lately but it would charge quicker than the standard charger when I was using it frequently.

Great to see, thanks a lot.
Maybe some do it to be sure that the phone gets the right voltage with a wrong or damaged power supply, or if the power supply is included there is more space in the dock. I don't know but had some that are only for 5 V (also stood at the power port).

Or it is required in Germany because on my search now most have the voltage of 5 V in the description.
Yours has 16 EUR to deliver to Germany, so I just started a search again.

Anyone using any type-c to type-c magnetic adapters with their dash chargers? I'd like to protect my port a bit and really miss my magnetic charger on my old Sony. I've found a lot of micro usb to c adapters but there don't seem to be many c to c, and I'd like to know if they can even work with dash beforehand.
Yes, i'm using one, works. Wsken Mini Lite if i remember right. Data capable too. And the cable quality is very good. I have older models since years.
Here's a link to the Shop where i've bought last two cables. Search finds other shops that may have it for a lower price. But check if it is original Wsken.

Ah so you're using a full cable. I was more wondering about one with the tips, so I can just use it with all the dash cables.
Something like this:

Ah, ok, no never tried it. All devices have these wsken plugs and i have two chagers where i could connect any device i own. Plugs are available for mini usb, ueb c, lightning. In the car i have one too. And well the cables are better than any other i got with the devices.

The only thing about the dash charging cables is that they charge WAY faster, and with less heat, so I'd rather not sacrifice that if I can get away with it.
Zero Problems with heat here. Charging speed seems ok too. And well the Adapter could stop Dash the same way a bad cable could.
Gesendet von meinem ONEPLUS A6003 mit Tapatalk
I'm using wsken, it already has a few generation of its design and it holds premium feel.
However, it does not work with fast charging due to retarded software restrictions from Oneplus. It can charge only 5V-1.5A.
Shame on you Oneplus !!
here is the link of the model that I'm currently with.
http://wsken.my/WSKEN-X-Cable/WSKEN-Micro-USB-Lightning-2.4A-Mini2-Magnetic-X-Cable-Black
So you're using the full cables too then. That's a good sign for me at least. I'm curious if the adapter I linked would work with fast charging as it mentions it supports up to 4.3A

You're totally right on that one, that's why I was asking if anyone had any experience before just buying one. I'm mainly concerned with heat in my car (I got a dash charger there for that reason), and it definitely seems to make a difference for me.
