i have a problem with my s6 edge 925F since i tried to install this rom Resurrection Remix-OS 6.0.0 [8.1.0] it worked fine but i wanted to go back to officiel 7.0 nougat, but as always when i do that i preffer to flash my device with the 4 files rom ( pit + bl + pda + csc...) and then a flash the officiel and the last updated firmware from sammobile ( just the PDA file) and the phone goes very fine and everything erased from the device. i like it that way, but as i said since i tried to install this rom Resurrection Remix-OS 6.0.0 [8.1.0] that's impossible to do it it always gives me error on odin: SW REV CHECK FAIL DEVICE 6 BINARY 5
and it keeps giving me this error till i flash the only PDA file from sammobile but when the device load up everything seems the same nothing is erased?! i want to flash it with the 4 files rom please anyone can help me how to solve this problem?

hi developers i have problem in flsshing the rom i downloaded the rom from sammobile and unzip and try to flash via oden to my n900 with bri csc 16 gyga and it failed after system.img and the phone bricked and flash back the kitkat and download the rom again but this time from anthor place mega like and the same problem remins at the same point and again bricked note 3 and flashed back kitkat but i want lolipop can any one tell me what is the problem and how to solve it

The boot loop/ no recovery situation was resolved by flashing TWRP and a Custom ROM. The phone has been working flawless after that.
Now i am kinda guy who is more into stock ROM / OS etc. I wanted to ask if i can now flash 5.1.1 Stock BTU firmware from ODIN ? will i face the same issue ?
Yes, you can safely flash stock 5.1.1 ROM via odin.
I'm a rooted 5.1.1 J700M user with TWRP and basically I can't run any ROM i see in this forum, everything needs Marshmallow, those godly A5 ROMs which improve speed need MM too.
I tried going back to Stock Recovery and Firmware with Odin but failed, tried another thing by converting the zImage or recovery to a flashable with Odin too and failed again.
I'm a Lollipop 5.1.1 user how can go to 6.0.1, the update isnt even showing on the System Update, so i guess i must use a PC.
Please help on upgrading my rooted 5.1.1 TWRP J700M to Marshmallow
Go to www.updato.com and get an MM rom for your fon and region.
Flash with Odin.

I think you can flash this https://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-j7/development/rom-resurrection-remix-mm-5-7-0-t3414185 and then flash ROMS that require Android 6.0 , As it is saying that to install Resurection remix, it may be with Android LP, or MM,
I flashed my stock firmware and my phones telling me to install DRK i would like to know how to do this my phone model is the Canadian variant(G920W8)
And the firmware version was for marshmellow
bro, do you flashed latest 6.0.1 if not try flashed latest version and after that make factory reset and wipe cash. also if flashed 1 file firmware not work with you so you have to flash 4 file firmware of your device.. you can use samfirm tprograme to find your 4 file firmware. and every thing will be fine

I have flashed on my Galaxy S7 (Exynos version) the galaxy Note Fan Edition Port rom a couple of weeks ago, but now I flashed the latest stock firmware from Sammobile via odin and it always fails at the bootloader. I don't know why? I searched for many hours for a solution, but nothing works.... I hope somebody could help me

Could also be that the latest bootloader prevents rolling back, so if you're trying to go from a newer bootloader to an older one it won't let you. You can probably just exclude the BL file and be fine.
Is that Fan Edition ROM you flashed not a S7 Edge rom made to work on the S7..! Maybe your phone shows up as a G935 now?
I have flashed android 8.0 manually from sammobile via odin and it got stuck on emergency recovery and I somehow got it into the download mode and every time I want to flash my stock firmware it says device 2 binary 1... I also flashed twrp recovery and wiped everything (system, data....) and tried again and it always fails in odin and says device 2 binary 1.. Im trying to find solution but everytime it fails. PLEASE HELP ME

Hi! Same error but different situation.
I was on the latest firmware 8.0 ITV, I wanted to downgrade to nougat, so I downloaded the first 7.0 firmware BTU (the one that was the best for my S7).
I opened all the firmware files on odin 3.13.1 and I started the procedure but at a certain point everything stopped, on odin the message "failed" appeared and on the phone the message "sw rev check fail (bootloader) device 2 binary 1".
I tried with a different version of odin but the message remains the same, I also tried without flashing the BL file but nothing ... In the end I had to flash again the latest firmware oreo ITV and no errors appeared, but I find myself at the starting point
specific that my S7 has never had modding operations, the knox counter is perfectly at 0x0, I have always used only original firmware and never had problems with odin.
How can I downgrade without having in that error?
