I'm probably posting this in the wrong forum, please feel free to move this where it belongs. I'm in a TWRP bootloop. I followed these directions: https://twrp.me/google/googlepixel.html and now when rebooting, I'm constantly back in TWRP, it never boots into the system.
Which version of twrp and what were you trying to do?
My assumption is you didn't follow the steps carefully and now the boot is corrupt. You need to flash the boot img, just download the factory image from Google.

Hello all. I was on Flashable stock lollipop and suddenly my phone froze. I rebooted into twrp 2.8.1.0 if I recall correctly and cleaned dalvik and cache. Now, the phone will not boot into the ROM (keeps rebooting to the Motorola screen) or twrp. When booting into recovery, twrp flashes briefly and then goes black for a second or two. Then the teamwin screen shows and it stays on that screen. I pushed via adb a new ROM and also philz and twrp, but I cannot boot into anything else but fastboot and the corrupted twrp. Can someone please help me?
The 4.4.4 firmware download for XT1032 is unavailable.
The firmware you may need could be here: http://www.filefactory.com/folder/c6cdedc45a775d27
Many thanks for the link. I've searched for the US KitKat version of XT1032, but I believe that it is in the other file factory link that is down.
Edit: thanks to advice from @lost101, I erased user data via fastboot, rebooted and now I'm back in action.
The reason for the issue was the twrp version I used was not fully compatible with Lollipop, even though it could flash it. I thought I would be ok, even after reading the warning, but now I know otherwise.
Mod, please feel free to close this thread, if you wish.
I accidentally flashed TWRP to my boot partition, not my recovery partition. I googled how to flash stuff, and alas, googled wrong. I used the thread on this forum to get the twrp and SuperSU.zip.
Now when I boot my phone, I get the TeamWin TWRP, not my OS.
What should I do next?
Is there a way to get the original boot.img for the phone?
Thanks!
Did you tried to flash that http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=64250021&postcount=163 OR http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=64253022&postcount=166 that?
He fixed by flashing the BLU_BOOT_0.img from my post 163.

Can you please post how you fixed this problem. I am currently having the exact same problem. I am at a loss on how to fix it. This is the first post I found that is the exact same problem I am having. Unfortunately I did not download the twrp and SuperSU by accident.

That is exactly what I did. Thank you @tbirdguy. BTW I have come to love SP Flash Tool.
I too accidentally flashed TWRP to boot. I solved it by pressing on wipe and then performing a factory reset. Then, I connected my phone to my PC and copied boot.img onto my phone. When it finished copying, I pressed on install in the TWRP home screen, pressed on the img button and selected the boot.img that I copied over. When it was done flashing, I rebooted my phone. I thought I had ended up just bricking my phone, but after a couple minutes my phone went to the setup screen.

Hi all, I am a novice and would appreciate some help.
In the processes of flashing a rom I erased the whole tablet using the Wipe option in TWRP. I then flashed a rom using adb sideload successfully however there were some errors message regarding unable to access certain folders. From memory /data was one of them and there were others. I then reboot to recovery again, tablet restarted, showed TWRP and screen looped on and off showing TWRP logo, like it was trying to load TWRP. Seems like i need to create these folders again. I have pulled the recovery log via adb however I do not know how to upload it to the post.
You are going to hacve to give us a lot more than thsis to be able to help...
Booloader and recoevry versions, which rom you tried to flash to start with.
How did you flash TWRP?
Why no fastboot? What's happening if you try to boot into fastboot?
You may want to head to the general section and read the frist sticky: The Beginners Guide. Lots of stuff in there that may help you

Thanks for your reply and advise. The problem seems to have resolved itself. Your beginners guide is an awesome read.
Hello,
I just flashed the latest ROM for the S8+ (AQL5) and that went well.
Afterwards I tried to flash TWRP, but now the phone is stuck on the Samsung screen.
I then followed the guide I found here to use the BL file of AQF7 in Odin and spam the Start button so I managed to get into TWRP.
Question is, what do I do next? I restart the system it's the same problem all over again.
No one explains anywhere what to do in TWRP to save the phone.
Can I remove TWRP or somehow save the phone (without wiping my data)
Please help
Can you get to download mode? Then go to ODIN and redo your flashing of the OS and then TWRP. After the flash of TWRP, immediately boot into TWRP, and do Verity if you want that, and your root, if not already done. Clear Dalvik/cache and reboot to system.
It is not uncommon for folks, following TWRP flash, to get stuck in boot loop, unfortunately. Can take a little time, but you will get through it and finally to System.
But I thought all new firmware versions are incompatible with TWRP and cause this error.
I might try to install TWRP again if I flash the latest compatible version (I think it's the F7 one).
Does "Verify" in TWRP make that annoying "Your phone is not verified" message go away? The only option is to Reset phone when that thing comes up and I don't want to do that.
I managed to get out of that by reflashing the AQL5 version and just not installing TWPR.
Kind of scared to retry because everything goes wrong when I try to follow the guides on here or youtube

Hi everyone,
Currently I can only boot to fastboot mode - i.e. not recovery or the system. I don't want to go back to OOS. When I try to flash or boot to recovery, nothing happens and the boot does not work. I'm not sure where to go to from here - do I need to flash stock ROM? I don't even know what version of Android the phone was on...
Edit: Partly fixed, as per below.
I ended up flashing the stock ROM using the MSMDownloadTool:
How To Unbrick OnePlus 6/6T

networktips.in
At some point I'm going to try using Magisk to flash LineageOS.
OK, got onto LineageOS using this:
Install LineageOS on enchilada | LineageOS Wiki
wiki.lineageos.org
I used this the first time around, so I'm not sure what went wrong. I suspect it was either the fact that it was on Android 11 or that I might have somehow messed up flashing the recovery file.
Anyone doing the sideload with ADB should be aware that it reports a 47% completion rate with success. The flashing has still completed successfully, read the last comment here:
