Hi all,
In a way, before even opening the package it is better than the official TGSP. Purely because of the price! It's £17.95 for the official one and the Orzly one comes in at £7.99 for a TWIN pack. That's much better value, I could have 4 screen protectors for the price of 1 official tgsp. Insane.
The screen protector itself is very familiar to me having tested several years worth of protectors from Orzly. It's a little smaller than the official one, which creates a slightly sharper edge. I use gestures and this has no affect on me. Orzly tgsp also holds noticbly less fingerprints on it than the original, which is a BIG win for me.
The Orzly one seems thinner than the official one, whether you count that as a negative or a positive I'm not too sure. It IS a FULL adhesive screen protector, no DOT-MATRIX.
If you have any questions let me know, I will be testing the Nillkin TGSP next.

yesterday i applied the oneplus original tgsp but it cuts the screen of a little bit i was not able to apply it 100% dust free .... i hate applying screen protectors!

Last week I ordered two 2-packs of the Orzly TGSP's from Amazon to replace my OnePlus TGSP. Like you, I do not like how much the OEM TGSP cuts off the edges of the screen. My Orzly protectors should arrive sometime next week. Once they do I'll get one installed and give my review. I plan on using the OEM TPU case to help guide a perfect install, just like I did with the OnePlus protector.

Unfortunately, its about the same as the oem one when it comes to cut off pixels. I do like how thin it is though.

Yeah, I ordered from Amazon. In their defense, they immediately said that I shouldn't expect delivery until 6/20 - 7/1. I was hoping that wasn't going to be the true situation but it appears that it might be. Oh well.

So I got the it finally here in NY this past Friday and both ended up in the trash. The adhesive is very weak on it. It leaves bubble edge lines. Otherwise, it is a really good protector. I just couldn't live with those bubbles because it is hard to see parts of the screen when outdoors. I e-mailed them already and complained about this
The bubbles go away after a few days. After that it looks good

How long did you have the protector one for? Bubbles normally disappear after a few days.

I'm planning on buying the OPO with a screen protector along with it and the flip cover. I could see two screen protectors one being a normal one and one being premium, i don't see any differences in the site. Anyone here know? And which one should I get? Matte or anti-fingerprint? Thank you

Don't bother with either of the official OnePlus screen protectors, they're useless. You want a tempered glass screen protector, they actually offer some protection for your screen. I use the Nillkin 9H, it's outstanding. I've heard good things about the Rhino Shield one too.

Couldn't be happier with the Nillkin. Put off installing it for a bit and went naked. Really can't tell too much of a difference when it's on, and it was way easier to install than the film type protectors.

I'd stick with the Nillkin. And yes, you'd need to order it somewhere else, I don't see why that's a problem though.

i was gonna order it along with the phone to lessen shipping costs, but nevermind i didn't get the screen protector or the glass. I only got the flip cover with it as the shipping cost got up to almost 20 dollars, so i thought that i would just get the screen protector somewhere else. Thanks btw =)

I got the Nillkin tempered glass, no issues in fixing and it and I don't find any changes to the touch sensitivity and display of OPO! Looking great..
There is a about 1 mm gap along all sides!
They haven't been the best lately but something is something when protecting the screen while waiting for something better.
I just put in my order for 3 wet install fronts. I don't see a need or how the backs would stick or work on the v10 textured back.
I used the code giant90 it gives 90% off sitewide and free shipping. Imho for $2.40 shipped why not..
Edit. Oh that car mount is decent enough, if you have a bouncy car though it shakes the phone a lot.
Edit: Previous code expired Nov 8. New code found via google search FALL91 gives 91% off sitewide on x2+ items. SUMMER80 gives 80% sitewide on x1+ items.
EDIT: I got the wet install, the edges are cut out really badly, ended up lifting and gathering lint.
EDIT: I just got the glass screen protectors, off the bat 1 had the smaller potion near the cams broken, a second was snaped in half. The third went on nicely, fits great, looks great and feels great. Except it was leaning against the squeegee in the kit and left and impression on the adhesive side, I didn't notice until I had already put it on. It's really a shame it would have looked nice.

I ordered the Spartan Tempered Protector with the Fall91 coupon too, but it made me order two for the coupon to work instead of just one. But even after buying two, after the coupon plus rush Shipping, the grand total was less than the average price for one Tempered Glass Protector on Amazon. Great coupon, and now I have a spare one to boot!
Man I got my wet install screen protectors already. Sent Allan a complaint email. They are just really shotty, the cut is just bad. I used one anyways to protect the screen while I wait for shipment of the Glass protector.
EDIT: Sorry about the detail, I bought 3-5 items, didn't realize it requires 2+ items for FALL91 to work. SUMMER80 works for 1 or more items.

The orzly ones are super cool with the colored surrounds but in my experience never work good for cases.

Hope that's not one of those ones that only has the adhesive on the top and bottom to accommodate the curve....the Samsung devices are a nightmare to get tempered glass protectors that don't suck.

I hate those bloody screen protectors, went through 4 of them for my wife's S7 Edge before giving up and getting a wet screen protector instead. Had the same issues as well with my OP3, currently using OP's second attempt at tempered glass which luckily does have adhesive everywhere but covers a couple of mms of the screen, hopefully tempered glass on Pixel XL has none of these issues.
Has anyone seen a protector for the glass on the back of the phone? I have seen some that cover the entire back. I was hoping for one that covers just the glass on the back. I think tempered glass would be best.

I was thinking the same thing, but there will be an uncomfortable lip. Tempered is pretty thick stuff. I think slick wraps has a matte finish naked version. That shouldn't compromise the natural look of the metal.

Does anyone know of another good manufacturer of clear skins? Dbrand doesn't make clear skins, and slickwraps is too expensive... $20 for a clear skin?

I was thinking about trying one of those liquid screen protectors just on the back. Sharkproof I think is the one I saw on Amazon.
Man, I came across one last night. It was a UK site and they had a two piece back protector, one piece for the back glass and one piece the the bottom half. I can't for the life of me find where I saw the link. I could have sworn I saw it here, but it could have been on reddit.
Xtremeguard has a protector for just the glass. You have to buy the full back or body kit though. I ordered a set for my 5 inch pixel but it hasn't arrived yet. I got mine on amazon but don't see the XL listed there. Someone on Reddit got one and had pictures of it.

Put 2+ in cart and use GIANT92 code for 92% site wide shipping free, but $1 expedite is a tad faster.
They are the old orange peel type without the dots/pores, self repairing, adds good grip.
I install these even if using a tpu/case keeps the sand that gets in from scratching the back and phone stays mint.
Edit; forgot to mention I install these using the steamed shower in the bathroom method with great success eliminating dust. I also use the skinomi sprayer with a tiny drop of dawn to wet.

DO NOT!!!!!! They are invicible for a reason. There isnt any protection! Applied mine and in two days, got micro scratch all over the phone...

I found a back tempered glass screen protector for the glass on the back top half of the Pixel XL. It is sold in combination with the front tempered glass screen protector as well. You cannot buy it separately. It's $12.99 i believe and ships in 2 days via Amazon Prime. I just ordered mine. When I get it, I'll install it and post a pic of it here.

I've used them for several devices and never had any problems. Plus at the price, if you have to swap it out a few times in the life of the phone it's not a big deal.
Anyone that got these in already, do they cover the full screen?
Looking at doing this deal also, did they give a shipping estimate ?

To Canada, using the lowest costing shipping option, takes about 2 business weeks once its left their warehouse. I've ordered from them a few times now and it can take a total of 3 weeks from click to delivery. I'm definitely ordering it though as you can't go wrong with the price(at 92% off).

Well that's not good. I don't think there are any better tempered glass screen protectors on Amazon.ca yet though. Sounds like I'll need to wait a bit before buying the Pixel XL.

I see that the screen protectors for the Pixel and Pixel Xl are now available. I have seen some companies screen protectors don't cover the entire front face of the phones due to the 2.5D glass. Do all three of your protectors(Screen Protector, Spartan Glass, and Hi-Def) cover the entire front of the phone or just to the edge of the screen?

Not sure what 2.5D glass is to be honest. From what I know, if the phone has beveled edges like iPhone 6/6s/6 Plus/6s Plus/7/7Plus etc. does for example, then our glass and hi-def protectors will only cover the flat parts of the screen. Our regular XtremeGuard protectors will cover everything including any curved/beveled edges. I hope that answers your question.

I ordered 1 of each so we will see how well they do I've used their spartan glass and high def protectors on my nexus 5 and liked them. Usually take less than a week to get to me on the east coast.
The high definition one isn't tempered glass though right?
