My loved oneplus 2 is dying(gets really bad battery and gets too hot and I want to change it) so i saw some nice promos with Tim here in Italy(there are no carrier restrictions, just bootanim and a few apps and you can usually remove it quite easily once you have custom recovery) for lg g7 at 300(10€ a month) or xperia xz2 at 450(15/month) or s9/+(exynos so bad battery and even if it was snapdragon modding would've been hard on snap galaxys) for 450/600(15/20) or p20/pro same as samsungs or mate 10 pro same as lg. I don't actually have the money to buy other phones right now and there isn't really a phone that I like very much but i really need to change that phone but I don't know what to get, I need a good screen, don't care that much about jack, I'd like ip 67/8, 64gbs expandable or 128+ not expandable, nice camera and a possibility to mod it in the future(doesn't have to be easy like my actual op) and a good enough battery life that can charge quickly(so maybe no qc 2.0 but 3.0/4+)

Hello everyone,
I'm in the market for a new phone, currently owning OnePlus One and I'm looking for something new to try out, so decision has fallen to these two.
I'n my country, they are priced the same.
- LG G4 does offer better camera quality, quick charging and SD card and removable battery, but the overall feel I have about LG phones is that they aren't as fast and snappy because of their custom UI.
- OnePlus Two offers better specs on paper considering CPU, GPU and RAM, with also metal construction that should be more durable, omission of NFC is not anything special here, since it doesn't really serve any purpose, but the camera performance, while being better than the One's is something questionable and certainly not as good as the LG's camera.
Overall, while I consider myself a power user, pushing my phone to the limits, I do like having clear and nice photos, not something I really have on the One.
So, if anyone could help me around, is there a significant amount of difference between these two regarding the performance and will I go wrong with buying G4 or vice-versa?

Hello, and thank you fro using XDA Assist!
Of the options, I would pick the G4 over the Two because of the removable battery and MicroSD card. But that is just me.

Right now I have an LG G3 and had a great deal of fun with it. However, with a recent job change I need to get a new phone for business only, and between the cracked glass on my G3 and abysmal battery life and charging problems (it's the original battery) it's starting to interfere with my job.
Right now I'm looking for a good android phone that just has a snappy CPU, decent amount of RAM, and above-all a good battery life (I'll probably have to consider an aftermarket extended battery but the last one I used was a Seidio for my HTC Droid Incredible years ago so suggestions on that would be welcome as well.
After doing some research it seems the G4 overheats and has the same battery issues, the Samsung S6 is still $400, and various other problems I've run into.
Basically I need a CDMA smartphone I can stick my Verizon SIM in and be ready to go. Don't really need to pay $400-$600 so I'm looking around the $200+/- range so any suggestions or recommendations on personal experience would be greatly appreciated.

Hey guys, I am selling my Note 4. Just got really tired of TouchWiz, yet again. So looking to buy a phone which won't cost be fortune, cheap in other words. So in my budget two phones only come, HTC 10 and OnePlus 3.
Now what I need.
- As close to stock Android as possible. So in that regard which would be better, Sense or Oxygen? Don't care much about ROMs but veteran devs gotta support the phone, for kernel's sake.
- An excellent display. I know none of them have a good display but as good as it goes, I am talking about colour saturation here, the neutral it is, the better. So which one is it? I realise HTC 10 will have more resolution but Anand's chart shows that OP3's display is more neutral (less saturated) than HTC 10. That right? Display is one of the main thing for me.
- Excellent reception and call quality. This is another important thing.
- Camera. HTC 10's is much better isn't it?
If I go for HTC 10 I will have to pay around 30-35% more of OP3's price. Now I know I will get more resolution, top notch audio, great built and probably better camera but with OnePlus 3 there is ther Dash Charging and stuffs, so confused really.
Please help this idiot to find the right one.
Thanks in advance.

Hi there,
There are threads already established that are devoted to discussions about devices, please read, and if necessary, repost your question in one of these threads: The what should I buy thread or the The Device Suggestion Thread or the The Device Comparison Thread.
There are also several other discussion threads that you probably should review to help you. They are What phone do you wish you had? or
The Worst Android Device That You've Ever Had & Why or even this place that talks about The best phone you ever owned.
I will have to close this one. Thanks for understanding.
I recently totally effed up my Mi Max and despite my best efforts, there doesn't seem to be any way for me to resurrect it. I've basically given up and gone back to my Nexus 6p. However, it is too small for what I'm used to and feels sluggish in comparison to the Mi Max. What's the best phone for around the same price that could replace my Mi Max. I know about the Mi Max 2 what are some of the other options?
OnePlus 3T or iPhone X xD

Thanks Fradco10, OnePlus 3T is a contender but it is considerably higher priced. Probably want to stay away from iPhone x. @Ibuprofen. Thanks for the suggestion but that is too General off of thread. I'm hoping that hear people would already be thinking about replacing their specific phone which would be a lot more helpful Imo
For those who might be interested, I went ahead and purchased a used but in mint condition mate 9. Paid $325 for it. I think it's a pretty decent deal and a more than worthy replacement for my My Max. Now I'm going to try and see if I can brick it also LOL.
I've been looking into getting a Note 4 on Swappa for around $150. Is there another flagship phone are the same price that is just as good or better? I'd like to get one that has a pretty big screen, absolutely no lag (my Moto G4 has 2GB of RAM but this damn thing lags so bad and and can't even keep 2 active apps in the background to multitask with without both of them crashing in the background), and I'd also like a pretty decent processor.
Any ideas? I'm coming from iPhone, which I had the 6S Plus, and then went to my G4 (hate it) and now want the Note 4 or something similar. I used to develop Android ROMs so I knew about a lot of devices and specs back in ye ol day, but not anymore haha
Is there a Blu phone that is actually good? Huawei Honor 8?
Thanks for the help

Note 4 and devices from around the same time are are kinda behind on the times. Take a bit of a step up and look for newer devices. Devices from around that time have more than likely been heavily used and charged many times(possibly for years) which means the battery in them might not last you very long before needing to be replaced. Of all of my android devices, the batteries average 2-3 years before starting to have issues, 4-5 years if you're lucky.
