[Theme] Black AOSP Toggles Style for Note 3 [kk]

Hello... friends I have been working on something and want to share with you I'm newbie in themes and modifications but I'm interested enough and have to start somewhere.
As the name suggests this a theme based in black AOSP colors, so far only includes the systemUI.apk
the goal is to get a full theme, suggestions and ideas are welcome..
The Steps:
1 - Download the attached zip
2- Backup your SystemUI.apk and SystemUI.odex(if there)
3- Backup your rom (nandroid) if something goes wrong
4- Flash the zip in Cwmr/Twrp recovery and reboot
5- Hit thanks button if like you
*This is a VRTheme maybe work on another Note 3 models, if someone try it let me knows if work*

Too buggy...random system ui crashes, couldn't change user icon at the top, ui crash....
Random play store crash...
Google search has unfortunately stopped appeared about 20 times...
Fast and smooth, though didn't try benchmarking.... Fluid animations. Total android l feel....I hope bugs are fixed soon...
The advanced menu in the notification tray doesn't go up... Stays just there...

Suggestion
Downloaded, flashed.
Superuser FC every time and root was unstable. All root application gave error that root required.
Tried rooting from boot menu of Phillz recovery, iRoot, vRoot, Mobogeine and Rootmaster. No success.! :crying:
So restored back legend ROM v10.
@avi3230 it's good to see you porting various ROM for the device.
can't we focus on the resolving the issues that we have with existing ROMs instead of porting various much ROMs with just tweaked SystemUI.apk
Android Kitchen and ROM porter will help to port ROMs.
I have seen list of ROMs that you posted in last one month and observed that people view the thread + screenshots but no one even tries that ROMs (except one or two members)
Focusing on Android L will make more members happy than just porting some Chinese ROMS.

I used this ROM for a day or so - never had issue with root. (not with systemUI also)
U can see i installed viper and xposed which needs root access - i never had issue with it.
frankly speaking I am just posting cause i already ported these roms - if u can do it with Android Kitchen and ROM porter, go for it.:good::good: (I never used these)

I have tried nearly 8 ROMs from this forum till today.
ANSP, Hive, Legend Rom and Alice (old post) are my favorite. I have recovery back up of all these 4 ROMs. I kept restoring based on my Mood every weekend. I am on Legend V10 right now.
Instead of trying new ROM I prefer to modify the needs using xposed modules and other apps. (recently released monsterUI module makes any ROM look like Android L)
I will surely give a another try to L Rom and also Alice Reborn on this weekend.:laugh:

I haven't started a separate thread because it is an unofficial port based on cm13 + TeslaOs . I am looking for some guys to help me kill bugs . I am not a developer but used a guide for porting mtk roms by Sandeep.Sethi plus his personal help to get it to boot . I need help because i don't know how to fix some major bugs and i use my phone daily .I want to learn to port because I am interested in porting MM roms like aicp + rr + teslaOs but it seems tje recognized developers are focusing on NOUGAT and aosp + cyanogen. Apart from Sandeep and a couple of other mtk porters I have been met with silence when asking for help. I can't create a thread dedicated to the rom because it is a project which isn't ready for release but rather just something for the brave to try out and possibly fix major bugs . I tried porting a RRemix rom the wkend from lenovo note but bricked my phone . I am waiting for about 3 guys who own metal phones and want to learn to port to create a team with me so we can kill bugs and get help from the experienced guys but these guys are or all too busy or just not forth coming with any info on patches or they just don't want to share their hard work . I have found porters are friendlier and more open with advice . Hope that answers your questions .
I will try to do more this weekend .

Battery Drain
I almost gave up on this phone due to massive battery drain even in aeroplane mode with most apps killed. While CM13_Metal_BetaTest_1 with DarkSense kernel wasn't too bad, I decided to give the stock ROM 20161226 a try, but with many disabled or removed apps and services. I was able to disable normally only a few apps of interest:
Gmail
Google App
Maps
TalkBack
Others had to be deleted in TWRP. Mount 'system' and remove (or move):
/system/app/AdupsFota
/system/app/AdupsFotaReboot
/system/app/Email
/system/app/Google TTS
/system/app/LocationEM2
/system/app/Schedule power on & off
/system/app/Shly...//ALL of them!
/system/app/User Dictionary
/system/app/Voice Command
/system/app/VoiceUnlock
Screen Off Standby Power Drain Now:
Aeroplane mode, 12hr: 83-->82%
SIM 3G network, 12hr: 81-->79%
Note on the attached screenshot the rapid power drop from 100%. There is something wrong with software or hardware of the power gauge and it is best to start testing from below 90%. One or more of these apps is responsible for the massive power drain. It would be interesting to find out exactly which one.

and tbh they all run okayish with a medium amount of tweaking and start throwing errors with heavy tweaking
i abandoned stock because it always seemed as if the phone just got worse as time went on .....i deleted the apps you mentioned and many more after doing a lot of forum searching
my phone gave me trouble after deleting locationEM2 and I had to restore at some point .
im running aosp 7.1.1 by M.A.D again and after a clean install and using these GAPPS as suggested I've been rather content with battery life , calls , home button, etc..

Updates in this ROM will be as I get any new stuff that are worth adding for like edge features and all. There is no specific reason for the name LITE ROM it just came to my mind and I named it
As per the update comes the naming of the ROM version will be in the following format
vr-<month number>dot<date>BUILD<number of times I made that ROM in that day>

This idea was mainly combination of how substratum engine version are named + Linux Ubuntu version naming

Tried to decrease the size of ROM to the minimum and 1.5 was all I could get

Dear C7 Pro ians... Please try this ROM. After all, don't expect much as a custom ROM. Main Focus is the smoothness and speed of ROM.
DEBLOATED : Makes ROM more Lite
DEKNOXED : Security issues and restrictions removed.
DEODEXED : The thing u need. U can flash any stuff u need. No
bootloops.
If do something wrong with the ROM zip and u mess up your phone, the developers aren't the cause. Point to yourselves.
And... Don't ask a dev for the time for next release.....
I think u all will be just happy with this ROM.

I wish man I'm not the dev actually aosp related is done by Aapav he is busy with his work and so I have no big hopes for anything like that and even if aosp comes there won't be volte too so that's a bummer and btw after Oreo update this project is kinda dead cuz I did all my research to mod Oreo but none works so....that's that

Thank you very much. This ROM perfectly resurrected my phone C7010. After upgrading to Android 8.0, my phone boot loop on the Samsung logo. I thought the motherboard was broken and almost gave up until I saw this post. I try it out, it really works on my phone and the charging problem was fixed.

I have tested this rom, my phone unable to boot, even all versions of Android 8.0 in galaxy-c7-pro discussion thread. Only LITE ROM 7.0 and Lineage 14.1 work on my phone.
LITE ROM 7.0 there is a bug happen on my C7010, WiFi password cann't be save after reboot.
