For unbricking you need to flash color OS either using fastboot or recovery. Once the phone is unbricked, you can flash whatever file you want.

I installed CyanogenMod to get some wack "Andriod L" theme. It said that I needed CM, so I went on and installed this ROM. And I regret it. I want to go back to stock, back to normal. How can unistalled CyanogenMod off my phone? [Nexus 5: 4.4.4 KitKat]

find a rooted stock rom in the android development section and flash it(bigxie makes a good stock/root rom). or you can just flash the factory img from google via fastboot.
Theres another stock ROM linked in the resources section of the sticky thread in my signature

install a rom by downloading it, then flashing it in your phones recovery. flash a factory img following the instuctions that you can find in @rootSU 's link in his signature.
factory img instructions http://forum.xda-developers.com/google-nexus-5/general/tutorial-how-to-flash-factory-image-t2513701

I was getting random reboots when i went straight from oxygen to cm12s until i flashed the cm12 firmware: https://mega.co.nz/#!acIjQRYJ!3vVAuOCfwNStSl3AcrDnQJYs1IgchuHZU7QyutNYf7c
the OTA zip is apparently the full rom, so wipe data, system, and cache, then flash the cm12 firmware and then the cm12 OTA .. that should be it
hi,
i'm new with nexus 5 i have a hammerheadcaf d821 modele and i want to know if google factory images are the same for hammerhead and hammerheadcaf i mean i can just download the hammerhead factory image and flash it to my hammerheadcaf ?
thanks in advance :good:
There's no such thing as a hammerheadcaf right out of the box. If you flashed a caf ROM on your device you can flash the factory images at any point to reset your device

There's no such thing. You're confused about something and I'm not sure what it is.
