Looking for a particular watch face - Samsung Gear S3

Hi, all. There are so many watch faces out there, but not easy way to hunt for the style and functionality I'm after. Hoping someone here might have a suggestion or two.
First, I am NOT interested in making my own. I don't have the time or patience to create a watch face, and would prefer to just download one that fits the bill. There are so many out there, that surely what I'm after must exist.
I'm looking for a face with the following characteristics:
1. Analog style
2. Always-on capability
3. Phone battery status
I'm sure this won't be too hard to track down, but as I search, it is super cumbersome to hunt for this, and takes so much time and so many clicks to preview the watch face only to find that it shows the watch battery status not the phone...or that it's digital and not analog... Hoping you guys can give me a few names of watch faces to search for. Thanks!!!!

Try Watchmaker app and you can use thousand and thousand watchfaces with phone battery, weather, calendar events and more....

That's exactly the problem! That app produces the "needle in a haystack" problem for me. Do you know of any specific watch faces in that app that would suit my needs? Otherwise, it will still require hours of searching before I can find a few watch faces that fit my three simple criteria...

On the link there are faces that suit your need.
1. Analog style
2. Always-on capability
3. Phone battery status
Example : this :

But also many others.... so if you want ONE this is ONE
I use often this one on my Gear S3 (picture in always ON mode)

Thanks. That was very helpful. Also, Watchmaker has a search filter that I've been hunting for! It allows me to select the attributes I care about such as round display, phone battery, and analog face and get a long list of watch faces that fit the bill. Once I had a good starting point, I could then tweak the one I selected with some custom functionality. I'm still wary of how much this app tries to reach into my wallet! Even after buying the premium license and the Samsung companion app, I am still presented with offers to buy more! I'd rather just pay a lump sum at the beginning and get all access, rather than having to constantly check whether my premium license covers a particular watch face or not. But I'm very satisfied with the face I found...very similar to the one you listed up above. Thanks!

WatchMaker premium is for use infinite faces with the app, otherwise you can not use more than few faces. After, every one can make a particular face and ask some money to distribute, not related with the master app
It is not the developper of the WatchMaker app wich develop all the faces for this app, so every one can offer or not his work.

It's a step in the right direction, you can download generic faces from the Facer app - but you can't download any "Facer" watch faces from the FaceRepro site
Awesome- they have some good faces in there already and it works well. Good start
You can create your own at facer.io/creator but they recommend using a pc

Nice faces but badly optimized for Gear S3. Time does not stay live. On every watch face I tried the watch hands have to jump forward to the correct time. It looks very bad. Maybe when they fix it will be better. But right now, I uninstalled it.

I like Mr Time Maker better. They have a better selection of watch faces. This is a step in the right direction but not there yet in my opinion.
All the watch making apps such as faces, Mr time maker and Watchland have a companion app and the hands do jump because it's basically a widget that runs the face. I think the only way to solve that is by loading the face natively so of you want a seamless experience you are tied to the Samsung store or using gear watch designer. If you load it natively the watch face is the widget, not a program within a widget.
Now with Watchland you download the gear watch developer file so you can copy them to your computer and upload them natively. Watchland has some of the best stuff if you're in to replica stuff like Rolex, Omega, etc. Only problem is that Watchland companion app was removed from gear store probably because of copyright complaints. Another problem with Watchland is that it is not very supported and the developer is kinda slow at updating stuff and a lot of the watches won't download because I think he has issues with servers so you basically download what you can. Watchland would have the most potential and is probably the best concept because all the faces are GWD faces and you can download and edit them. Problem is that the developer just isn't reliable but then again what more do you want to ask for free. So I don't blame him. The hands jumping doesn't bother me and most people don't even notice.
I think the best concept for sharing faces would be an app or a website which people could upload the GWD files and then load them natively. Problem with any kind of app or website repository is that any kind of replicas would shut them down with copyright complaints. I know Mr Time Maker will remove your face if it violates copyright stuff. So if you want replicas then download Watchland and get what you can before it gets shut down. I am sure with the amount of replica faces on there eventually the app will be removed from the Google store too.

Watch Face with Moving Seconds hand in AOD

This function isn't supported in Samsung Watch Designer even tho its a feature of several built in watch faces.
My understanding is that it's possible to implement this function by coding directly instead of using designer software.
Does anyone have something like this to share?

Yes it can be done but battery consumption is way worst than those optimized native watchfaces,. More info http://developer.samsung.com/forum/...=SDK&messageId=304069&topCtgy=03#postId304069
Who did it ?

I created the image in ambient mode in an editor outside the developer tool and loaded it with the hands, including the sweeping seconds hand, in normal mode within the developer tool. The effect is that I get a watchface on my Samsung S3 that looks like it is in ambient mode, and has all the functionality included that I need. Looks great at night.
Here's the watchface I created - see attached GWD of the TAG Carrera Heuer Fragment Watch.

Samsung Gear S3 Frontier - more custom watchfaces

Great watchfaces! Like them a lot. Would you mind to share those?

Hi.
Further to my recent post, here are some more watchfaces from my custom-build collection. Once again, I should say that none of these Gear S3 watch faces are for sale or distribution. They are only for my personal use.
Thanks.

Not to be rude so why are you showing them off
Good question. In my other post, I did say that I want to encourage others to try creating their own watch faces. If you own a Samsung smartwatch, they have provided a free watch design tool that is easy to learn and lets you create amazing watch faces. If I can create these nice watch faces using their tool, then potentially anyone can. If I had put up some poor quality stuff, that would not encourage anyone. Also, I did say that I am willing to help. It is time-consuming, which may put-off some, but it's well worth the investment in time at no monetary cost.
I have now posted a basic tutorial that is easy to follow, so if you want to learn how to quickly create your own watch faces, go to 'Tutorial for Samsung Gear Watch Designer' thread.
Thanks.

Question Custom aod on market watchface

Hi all! As title says, I just wanna know if there is an app to make aod look the same (dimmed possibly) as watchface. I found a really nice watchface but aod is black background with only analog clock, without complications. Is there some way to keep background and complications on a face that doesn't have it from default? Thanks in advance!
Not unless the developer has settings for it, or you have the original files to make it yourself. Turning on a bunch of stuff on AOD kind of defeats the purpose of AOD. It is supposed to be minimal and lacking color to minimize battery use.

That's correct mate. But I found some faces with aod that is like face on, but dimmed. Battery seems fine (with last update i reach 2 days with aod on all time except night).
Will search some similar watchface or try to make a request to the developer, though all his watchfaces are with same kind of aod..
I have the I-Digit watch face on my Watch 4 Classic and if you get the premium version, you can turn off or on any of the items on the watch face AOD. The developer makes many watch faces. You may find one you like there.

It's this one! Nothing special, usually I prefer more complicated faces, but it looks clean and nice. Tried with Mr time, I reached a similar result, but same "problem" with aod..
This is the watch face I use: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=fr.thema.wear.watch.idigit

Wow that's super simple you could create this with galaxy watch creator but AOD has a limitation on colors so no screen burn. Might be why they chose not to keep the colors.

Yes, I've already tried but very limited on aod.. but I have many faces with colored aod, they just move every X minutes to avoid screen burn..

Thank you! I'm using it now, it's working great!
Hi:
It's not available for my GW4, can you post the APK to sideload it?
Hi great watchface, but i can only directly Install it on my GW4 with no configuration possibilites... On my Pixel 7 Pro i get the Info that this app is not compatible with my devices
Can you please also provider it for GW4 and Pixel Phone. Thx
Thank you!!!, It's already available....amazing watch face!!
Thx a lot. It is also working for me now. But If i add the Pulse or Others health indicators it only Shows the Icon (e.g. the Heart) instead of the Pulse. But i gave the permission :-(
It is still not available in Poland
In the play application it does not work ... but through the browser it works
Thanks for the watch face. It's very nice! I have a Samsung Watch 5 (non-pro) and I only see the heart icon, it does not show the frequency itself. Where can I find this "cardiogram" complication? I can't see the screenshot you referred to.
Do you think this watch face will have strong impact on battery life?
Thanks!
Thanks for replying. I will monitor the battery life now that I am using your watchface.
I believe this "cardiogram" is a separate application that needs to be installed. It's not the same as the built-in heart rate app that comes with the watch.
Am I to dumb to find it or how to change the general style (as you said there are multiple watchface styles included)?
(I guess I'm on latest version, installed yesterday and now update showing. I'm from germany)
Strange, I don't have these options. Neither ok watch nor in galaxy wearable app.
This it how it looks for me:

Thanks for the update!
Unfortunately, the heart rate number after choosing the native heart rate is not displayed in real time. I am obligated to tap on it to get a current measurement. It's not working as the heart rate complication on Samsung watch faces that updates the frequency in real-time.
Your theme for smart watch should be in the top!
How to enable seconds in concentric native?
Hello! This is amazing! Since I am quite sad that the original doesn't have the AOD fix.
By any chance, will you add a feature supporting multiple copies of concentric native to the favorite? I am using Bixby routine, and I want to swap to face 1 with a set of complications I use during work and face 2 for commute/exercise.
I know you blow up the font a bit but also by any chance would you also release the font size same as google?
Google's pill shape circle at the mins and second is slightly slimer.
Anyway great job!
I use this as my daily! I love this watch face and haven't found one single thing wrong with it. Your work is outstanding and I want to say thank you!
my favourite watch face for watch 5 pro. took me a long time to find it after I lost it (had to change watches) so maybe make sure it is searchable in PLay as Analog Native? Great work
