i'm trying to make it work with original italian rom but i can't find a way (i tride also to rename it into windows folder from enlarge...409 to enlarge...410 )

Hi MajA, great job!!
I've lost my warranty to mount your rom
I hope there are some unuseful apps, and others are missing...
GPS test, Total commander, shutdown are unuseful (visualgpsce is better for me, and total commander is 100% replaced by resco explorer)
Also i think you've forget the WinRar App and.... THE SPLASHSCREEN IS HORRIBLE
...if you want an hand to paint a new one... tell me
Ps: I've seen some cabs (ex: Cube-ita.cab) into windows folder... it's about 4Mb! but those cabs aren't stored into the extended rom?

Ragazzi succede anche a voi ogni tanto che chiudendo il cubo (trascinandolo in basso) lo schermo per una frazione di secondo confonde i colori.. tipo viola e blu (sembrano maschere di livello) e poi torna normale?
Ciò che mi conforta è che lo fa solo quando chiudo il cubo, ma ho un po di terrore... mai successo con altri PDA..

Italian guy are not so luky for ROM 6.5
I know only one or two ROM 6.5 for HTC Touch Pro, one is also present on that forum
But till now are not so good to install it for day use
You cn download it and try it

And what about muttim86's roms? What do you think about them?
At the moment is the only italian rom I've found for the touch pro.
I am looking for an italian 6.5 htc touch pro rom too... but for me is important the dependability. In other words I need a rom wich can be used every day, in the same way as a real original htc rom, not only as experiment, without the fear that some software problem could cancel my files or force me to format the phone.
I know that I may have this probability with every cooked rom, but I mean I would know the name of a rom near to the original htc, and at the same time in italian. I hope a rom like this exists...
This is the first time I write on this wonderfull forum. I'd like to thank all the forum's people for hundreds of great suggestions I had reading...
And sorry for my english, I tried to write the best I could, if there are some very bad errors, please I will be happy to know them...

Look for TAEL's next ROM release. As I understand it the next release will include ITA (0410) ROM Translation. I have been running his ROM since the first release. Very stable!

help!!! blank screen

hi guys! I need a big help.
my touch pro screen is blank from yesterday night, I've a teal rom, I've no pop up error, with MyMobiler i can use the telephon alway run jast the screen is blank!!!
in the task manager I can see just an error with the gwes.exe!!
now.. I want to try an hard reset or a rom update but if my scree still black how I will finish the reset configuration????
is there a guide for hard reset with blank screen?

Come firmware, a mio parere, va bene e non ha quindi bisogno di essere cambiato.
Semmai vorrei sapere se esiste un modo per ottenere i permessi di root.
Ho provato con SuperOneClick e con DooMLoRD_v4_ROOT ma niene te da fare.
Qualcuno può aiutarmi?

Per il root già esiste una procedura validissima, ma il tuo firmware ha lingua italiana? Vorrei almeno crearmi un backup del mio fw e metterci una recovery moddata così che posso procedere con tutte le modifiche del caso

Si il mio ha la lingua italiana e la traduzione mi sembra anche fatta molto bene.
Se hai bisogno del backup fammelo sapere (dimmi quale prg usare...)
Tu il tuo invece l'hai rootato? Potresti dirmi quale prg hai usato?

I used TPSparkyRoot software.

Its easy to do it for w0007
download
developer.android.com/sdk/index.html
install it , run SDK > download all the tools and firmware you need
and then upload in the folder
C:\Users\YOUR-USERNAME\AppData\Local\Android\android-sdk\platform-tools
TPSparkyRoot
Run > TPSparkyRoot
follow the steps (2 reboot of phone - you need to turn it on again )
after that install from google play the superuser apk
and you are ready !

sdcard and sdcard2
I also bought a w007 recently and I am strugling to find a solution to this: In file explorer I can see sdcard and sdcard2 but no internal memory. Because of that all downloads and apps are moved to sdcard(mentioned also as internal sdcard or internal usb storage). Is there a guide how to fix that and have only internal memory and sdcard?

Maybe I could help you. But mine has ics 4.0.4. If you need any help please do not hesitate. I think you should find the built if it is compatible with mine.

W007 - GPS Rooted 2012 - October - 28
I just (2012 October 28) recieved a W007 and the phone is a good value.
I rooted the phone using the TPSparkyRoot method, but i did it all by hand.
ie. typed in every step rather than execute the BAT file.

It worked beautifully.
I was stymied for a little while because I did not have the proper USB driver for my linux machine.
I did however have on on my windows machine and it just worked beautifully from there.
The device is using Android 4.04 and Linux kernel 3.0.13

How you handled the internal-external sd-card? Is the external sd-card mounted as sd-card2 under mnt\sd-card2. While internal memory is divided into 500mb as internal memory and 1,5gb as sd-card. Is the same happening to you?

I have one bricked from a friend of mine.
I found dozens of SIMILAR firmware, but no one working 100%.
Sometime lacks video, sometime audio, sometime touch screen, often says 'wrong IMEI'.
Ne ho uno briccato di un amico.
Ho trovato dozzine di firmware SIMILI, ma nessuno che funzioni al 100%.
Qualche volta non va il video, qualche volta l'audio, qualche volta il touch, spesso dicono 'wrong IMEI'.
Still looking...
