I just bought the Oppo R7, not the plus version, and am happy to join the R7 family
However, after surfing for 3 hours straight, I failed to find this answer
Does the Regular R7 with 5 inch screen have Cyanogenmod support? the one with snapdragon 615 ofcourse?
Cyanogenmod website stated that R7 and R7 plus and R5 will be getting CM support, however only R5 and the plus version has it so far, should I still wait? or is it killed? or is it available?
Kindly help me and the others who are looking for this answer as the R7 is much cheaper than R7 plus
any information would be helpful
I know this isn't the right thread for the device, but there are no R7 forums.
any help would be appreciated
so after searching more, I found there is Project spectrum available for R7g and R7s
any one interested in stock like experience, try Project Spectrum
I have a really big problem..
I bought the Oppo R9 (because the Oppo F1 Plus for european market is not available) and in the article description i've read, that the available languages are englisch and chinese. So i thought 'okay, i understand englisch - let's buy it'
BIG MISTAKE! The installed input method is still chinese and there is no opportunity to change it into another language.
Now i try to root the Oppo R9 to install (maybe) the ColorOS Version from the Oppo F1 plus or a CyanogenMod i found for the Oppo R9 ( https://github.com/wuxianlin/android_device_oppo_r9 ) ..
My Problem is, that no method to root the Oppo R9 works.. not with kingroot, not with adb and PC... since 2 days I try every method I can find in the internet..
Can someone help me please?
I'm sorry, but my englisch is noch perfect, but I hope you understand me and my problem :silly:

I don't know why oppo doesn't Give update on Android versions for their phones.
Is there any other way to update Android version on Oppo r7 lite?
Hi,
I found out that OPPO F3 Plus = OPPO R9s Plus and long story short, there is a Nougat update for F3 Plus.
I flashed it on my R9s Plus without any issues, though the system is very much like iOS, so check the screenshots before you update, because for example the shortcuts and settings are moved to the bottom of the screen.
This update for F3 Plus isn't available online, but if you visit OPPO store with your phone, they will update it to Nougat. Why? Who knows :silly:
Link to the thread with the firmware: https://forum.xda-developers.com/an...oppo-f3-plus-oppo-f3-official-nougat-t3769892
Note you are flashing this at your own risk

How much ram is your R9 plus?
The f3 plus has no NFC
But r9 plus ( 6G ram version) has nfc, so does it still work ?
I cannot find ROM for OPPO R7SM in these ROM official wabsite, but these have ROM for R7sf。
If he can't use it directly, how can I modify it so that it can be used on my OPPO R7SM?
OPPO R7sf and R7sm have same SOC.

the issue is that there are two versions of the "R7sm".
in the very beginning there was only a MediaTek SoC version. hence the "m". for some reason Oppo decided to include the same SoC as in the "f" version.
if you are sure it's exactly the same SoC. you can try at your own risk.
look into the ROM and in "META-INF\com\google\android\updater-script"
change the values accordingly.
Hello, I am an OPPOr7sm user from China. I have a tutorial on changing OPPOr7sm to OPPOr7sf and flashing it into AndroidP. This is my QQ: 1204418204
