Factory Reset not Adequate - Samsung Galaxy S7 Questions and Answers

I backed up my data and then tried to root my S7 to recover lost photos. It got into a bootloop with the Samsung word on the screen and I eventually factory reset it. The phone seems to work fine and I restored my data. However, it now has a constant error saying that, "Unauthorized actions have been detected. Please restart your phone to undo these actions." Would appreciate some help on how to fix this. Thanks.

Help me please!!!!!

Ive been running a GTN7000 on rooted ICS for some time without any errors however today I decided to remove Chainfire 3D, after the compulsory reboot my phone shows no display after the initial logo. The normal jingles and vibrations take place and the buttons are lit but there is no screen output.
Does anyone know how to fix this without wiping my phone? thanks
It seems like you have a soft brick. Try a reset via Samsung Kies or look for a soft brick undo guide or something.
I am sorry I cannot help any further as I do not own a note myself and therefore have minimal experience with the device.
Would like to hope you can fix it.
Hit thanks if I helped.
i think you should try to soft reset it. you can use any reset method you already know....
sorry if i couldnt help you any further too. but as for me, when i face some error like that, i've always reset my phone (coz i already backup my data with titanium backup)
Hi guys, sorry for the delay.
I've finally managed to fix it.
After fighting through a whole heap of errors and reflashing the device at least 10 times I now have my phone back to a fully working rooted ICS state. I did however loose all my data.

Galaxy S4 L720 Sprint Encryption failed - stuck on Reset Device

Galaxy S4 Sprint Encryption failed - stuck on Reset Device
Hello all,
First, forgive me if the steps I followed below don't make any sense, I don't really know much if what I am / was doing. Anyway:
I have a Galaxy S4 from sprint, L720
I'm about to sell my phone, and I few months ago I rooted it following this procedure using odin:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s4-sprint/general/rom-100-stock-l720vod2-5-0-1-t3105760
Not too much to say here, this is just more of a background information.
Anyway, Because I'm selling my phone, I wanted to make sure my information was deleted securely form the device, and found that many people said it should be encrypted.
I tried to do that, and after a couple of hours of the phone stuck on a blank screen, I removed the battery and restarted it.
Now I have a screen that says "Encryption failed" - "Reset Device", only the button to reset it, does nothing.
I follow that guide again, installed that rom again.
I also have twrp, did factory reset, wiped all the data, and still, when I boot, I get that same message.
I have also tried to backup the data (after the debacle), restore it and factory reset the phone.
This leaves the phone stuck on the very first screen, "Samsung Galaxy S4", which maybe a good sign or not.
Any ideas?

That worked. I had tried with other ROMs, such as the rooted one mentioned above and it did not work. The original one did. Thank you sir!

SM-G930V Unauthorized Actions after Root?

Hello,
I recently rooted my SM-G930V for the first time. However, after doing so, I started to get these Unauthorized Actions messages every few minutes. I tried to turn it off by uninstalling SecurityLogAgent but that only made the problem worse as it began to warn me every few minutes that SecurityLogAgent had "failed to run". I got frustrated and went to recovery mode and reformatted and got rid of root. It's no longer rooted but those damn Unathorized Actions messages won't go away! I'm noticing now that my text messages can fail to send as well. At this point I'd like to go back to stock as if I had just bought the phone new. But when I try to use Odin with a stock image I found from Boycracked. Odin keeps failing at auth. What can I do to revert my phone back to normal? Any help would be appreciated. I was in way over my head.
Thanks!
Factory reset from recovery should fix it
You can get stock ROMs from here
http://updato.com/firmware-archive-select-model?q=G930V
Factory reset did not work. The warning continues. =\
The stock rom you linked me to worked! Thank you so much!!
Sorry to bother! My battery drainage is suddenly very bad. Is this from all the flashing with Odin? I don't think I'm fully reset.
ODIN doesn't reset, backup, then factory reset from recovery and see if that helps

Encryption message. redmi note 4x MIDO

Good day, I dont know what happened to my phone. I'm just charging and this message popped out.
"Encryption was interrupted and can't be completed. As a result, the data on your phone is no longer accesible.
To resume using your phone you need to perform a factory reset. When you set up your phone after the reset, you'll have an opportunity to restore any data that was backed up on your Google account." and a reset phone button.
I already did reset the phone, but the said message is still there,
i tried many things like flashing twrp through fastboot and then format data but it says cant mount storage,
flashed stock rom thru miFlash but same message appears, flashed custom rom but all apps are crashing and rebooting, flashed china rom still the message is there.
any suggestions? need help badly.
thankyou.
Sound alike the devices corrupted its self. Known to happen with Xiaomi devices. The hardware just ends up failing after a short amount of time.
Time to send it back for repair.

S10e SM_G970U boot loop data backup?

Hi, my phone went crazy today and now stuck in a boot loop. Is there any way to backing up my data before reinstalling firmware with odin? My boot loader is locked and not rooted. No custom recovery.
See if it will go into safe mode...
You can try clearing the system cache but I doubt this will help.
I may be wrong but otherwise your options are limited. You should always backup your critical data redundantly. If you have a SD card and used it as a data drive, your data be intact more than likely.
Install or uninstall any apps lately?
Any recent updates?

Thank you for your reply. No new apps or updates. Phone was working... took a picture and put it into my pocket. When I grabbed it out of my pocket it was in an infinite loop. I removed the sd card and wiped cache but no help. I mainly wanted to try and retrieve my texts before attempting to fix the loop with a firmware update. Oh well I guess I am SOL.

You're welcome.
Factory reset to fix. It's likely the user data partition* that's corrupted.
Try getting it to go into safe mode, sometimes it takes a few tries. I wouldn't sweat the texts, mine repopulate after I do a reset. Either way I don't consider them critical data
*SEU, single event upsets are rare but can happen at anytime. No hardware damage is done if one occurs but the corruption of a critical byte of data can have consequences.

It's so weird. I updated the firmware and still had the boot loop so I did a factory reset and now the phone will not respond to any hard resets or anything at all. Just my luck.

You'll need to reflash it to the version it was on. I would have attempted the reset first. The system partition may have been corrupted.
It could be a possible hardware failure if the reflash fails.
That's my guess.
