I might be nitpicking here and this is more a UX thing but when you hide the notch and use the phone, the corners of the bezel on the top aren't as curved as the one at the bottom. Although, a third party app would probably fix that (temporarily) but I'm not really ok giving a third party app usage access for a gimmick that OnePlus could so easily add in a future update. Is there a feature request thread where I could post this to?
Agree with you. Noticed it also. Hopefully fixed in future update.

I understand where your coming from because that was my initial thought too.
However after thinking about it, probably the reason they've only slightly curved the top of the screen when the notch is hidden is to preserve screen retail. If it had a large curve to match the bottom they would have likely had to move everything down to accommodate it. Look at the URL bar in Chrome to see what I mean. It wouldn't work very well.
Of course this would be solved by not having a daft curved screen in the first place.

I agree. But this does give me the impression that hiding the notch was a feature implemented at the last minute and that shows in the lack of UX that it provides. Hopefully it can be improved with future updates.
You can just use an app like round corner to fix this

So, I bought one of those windowed flip covers, the OnePlus One definitely has the "lock-unlock" functionality when you use a flip cover with a magnet, but I noticed there is no "window view" functionality in CM11 (I am currently running CM11 nightlies).
Is there a way or some kind of mod I can use to enable or mimic the window view thing, something were after pressing the lock button it will display the time and/or notifications?
Thanks.
Haven't seen anything like that for this device, and it might not be likely due to the irregular availability of OnePlus accessories.

Where can we propose for development? This is something that I had with my LG G2 and now that my son has it, I am jealous. HELP!!! If anyone out there has had the chance to play around with it, I am sure that they will attest to it.
I am sure that there are enough people out there with the dimensions of the windows in these cases, so that they can be coded properly.

No one really proposes development. They don't take kindly to requests from the users. If you add a bounty and have other people propose the same then someone may will be willing to tackle to it but it'd be limited to that particular ROM.
@zephiK What exactly do you mean by adding a bounty and where ?

The one+ does not have an amoled screen and cannot power on just a portion of the screen. That is why we probably won't see s-view anytime soon.

I have to heard this before, however the LG G2 as far as I know, does not have an AMOLED screen, however they still seem to have a way to pull it off. I'm not well versed enough to understand the "why" of it however there must be more there must be another solution, unless LG is using a similar panel as to that of Samsung's AMOLED panel.
Unless you can convince Spigen to make a Slim Armor case for the OnePlus One.

I have no idea what the Spigen case has to do with this. There are many other cases out there with a window or windows integrated. Nillkin is a respected case maker with a windowed case available, even though, from what I heard, it has not been up to par. I purchased a dual window that case that is of very nice quality and I am pretty certain that once the word gets out that there are Roms out there with this integrated functionality there will be many more case makers interested.
Cheers.

Wow!!! I had not seen that case. It seems very nicely built, is definitely something that would be of a great addition to the opo's case lineup. I'm not sure however if we need a third party such as a case builder to design the application. I think we would be better served and would get a greater result, if it were one of our recognized developers who were to take on the task, seeing as our developers have an advanced knowledgeof Android and clockworkmod.
Cheers
Is it just me or had Huawei blocked the ability to pinch to zoom/fit the whole screen?
This was annoying me for days until I figured it out
You can only pinch to zoom in one horizontal orientation. Of you flip it so that the home button swap sides it works, flip again and it stops
I can't seem to pinch no Matter what, very annoying indeed
Just received an update that fixed it, but annoying that it only works in one orientation

Oneplus 6 got rid of the swipe down for notifications gesture. Is there any way we can get it back? Maybe like the flashable zip the 5t had in omnirom? This may seem like such a small thing but it's huge for me. With this gesture I dont have to reach up to get my notifications down and thats a lot less of a chance for having the phone drop and break on me. Especially because it's all glass now.

Well, the phone hasn't practically even released at this time, so it will take a bit of time to know.
I think the reason why there are no fingerprint gestures is because of the reduction in the size of the fingerprint sensor.

Quite upset about the removal of this feature as well. It was really useful. I'll be looking out for it / monitoring this thread to see if anyone has a solution. Wish OnePlus would simply add it back.

I haven't been on XDA for a longer while, but I agree, tone here is getting rougher and it bugs me. We have a saying in my language, like: If somebody jumps in a well, you don't do the same. So forget about those guys! I have the hope, the percentage of these jer.s is less than 1%, so probably more than 99% would appreciate you to keep working and sharing it here.
More pixel stuff for Google Duo and Google Photos ?
New Video editor frontend that's already been rolled out on the pixel 4. Turn your phone around to look at the back of the jpeg. You'll see the new backend. If you're not seeing it then try sharply snapping your neck side to side while looking like an ass.

I'm sure once I release the modules again certain things won't work because Google won't be happy about certain things being enabled.

Hello.
I just saw that apps like Prime Video or HBO Max, do not play the videos in full screen leaving the area where the camera is with a large black margin.
On the contrary, YouTube or Netflix do occupy the entire screen.
Do you know if there is a way to change it so that it looks like occupying the entire screen?
Before I had a Samsung that in the settings of the mobile let change that the front camera was seen (occupying the video the full screen) or that the camera was not seen (leaving a black area on that side of the screen).
Thank you.
