I Can't Access my Phones Download/Fastboot Mode! - General Questions and Answers

Recently I was able to port a custom recovery to my new phone Blu Vivo 8L. However I can't test it, because I cannot access fastboot/download mode. I've tried using the adb commands (adb reboot download, adb reboot fastboot, and adb reboot-bootloader) and none of them seemed to work. My phone would reboot as expected but instead of being taken to download/fastboot mode my phone would simply just turn off and nothing more. I tried pushing a combination of buttons with the phone off and was only able to access recovery, and a weird mode I've never heard of called Factory Mode (you can test hardware, clear eemc, etc.). Something I found interesting is that in recovery mode there is an option to reboot to the bootloader (I tried that and it didn't even work, just another black screen). Can someone help me? I really want to access my bootloader so I can unlock it, flash my ported recovery, and get root access. Thanks!

I did see that your device has a Mediatek MT6735 Chipset. So you should be able to obtain some type of member guidance within one of the following General Mediatek threads.

Hard Bricked Asus ZE550KL!!!!!!!!!

Hello!!!!!!!!
I Had a lot of questions, help me to sort out such situations
I'd Bricked Asus ZE550KL recently, by flashing wrong emmc_appsboot.bin
Phone Info:
Brand & Model: Asus Zenfone 2 Laser Ze550KL
Ram & Rom: 2G, 16G
Processor & Board: Snapdragon 410 1.2ghz, MSM8916
The Problem: Before i'd flashed aboot, bootloader was locked, and i used qfil software, but, the port was in 9006 mod, so i flashed emmc and created ext4 partition, then phone gone to 9008 mode, but the bootloader was locked and hence i was not able to flash partition, or boot twrp...
then i created new rawprogram0.xml to flash system using qfil, but it won't flash as filehorse do not provide information to flash more than 7 partitions, so i try to flash partition by replacing line of gptbackup0.bin to partition.mbn in rawprogram0.xml.....
then qfil downloaded files succefully to phone but now the problem arises, fastboot doesn't detect device, my windows device manager doesn't show any new device connected to my PC......
as i connects my phone to a usb cable, it starts itself and loads fastboot mode, now i'm unable to go to edl mode
pls help me to boot edl, because everytime usb is connected to phone it boots fastboot and fastboot had errors and it doesn't connects device to PC...

Bricked Samsung Galaxy s5 sm-900i help

I need help debricking my S5 900I
The device wont respond, unless connected to my PC in which it seems to constantly connect and disconnect with it coming up as QHSUSB_BULK in device manager.
It will not boot at all, holding down power button has a small vibrate but only when plugged into my pc, then goes into what i call a silent re-booting, where only the pc USB connect and USB disconnect sounds happened every 10 or so seconds,
It will not boot into download mode nor recovery mode. I have heard that i can get it to boot to download mode with a microsd and a debrick image, but i cannot find a debrick image for the sm-900I.
If someone could give me a list of instructions and a link to a debrick image, i would be extremely grateful
Thanks, matt

ODIN sees Samsung tablet but ADB does not recognize any devices listed

So Im running into a weird issue that I've never before experienced. I have an SM-T320 tablet and it currently has no OS installed. It was wiped via TWRP. After wipe completed, by tablet restarted abruptly and, ever since, has not gone past the splash screen. I tried entering recovery mode again many times and each time it failed.
My light at the end of the tunnel is download mode, which I've managed to enter. My tablet is currently in download mode, and ODIN sees it (I've attached a couple pictures). I managed to even follow this thread and my tablet restarts when ODIN finished but, again, does not go past the splash screen.
When I query all attached devices with `adb devices` command, it doesnt display it.
Any advice would be much appreciated.. I dont know what's going on. I've installed a variety of different drivers of different versions from a variety of different sources. Results are the same -- ODIN sees device, ADB doesnt.
Here are the images

All three links don't help me because ADB does not list my device, which is the core problem. If I could just get ADB to recognize my device, I can run an `adb reboot recovery` and solve my problem that way.. but alas I can't get ADB to see my tablet. This is so odd to me.. it cannot be a driver issue because ODIN sees my device.
Solved my issue by flashing firmware on device.
my problem is the opposite , My amazon fire hd 7 9th gen is recognized in adb as devices, but it is not recognized in odin I tried both use mtp (windows 10 driver), and the kindle fire stock driver, but still not detected in odin and still recognized somehow in adb. some help would be nice
Samsung Odin is a very lightweight and easy-to-use Stock ROM flashing tool for the Samsung Galaxy line of devices including Samsung smartphones and tablet devices.

is there any way to rescue my phone from this?
my phone jsut starts into fastboot as soon as it turns on, even when i plug in the charging cable, it goes into fastboot in a second
i tried the adb method, instaleld it all, used the fastboot tools for "fastboot reboot", nothing
i used fastboot continue, nothing
i tried fastboot oem unlock, not recognised
the recovery mode for factory reset is working, but since i have seen in a german forum that this is not helping and i rather not loose my data because of the 2fa apps, i wont do that just now
i tried it all now but absolutely nothing works
i didnt enable the developer options in the 4 years i have that phone now, and i cant unlock it, even tho i got the unlock.bin from LG and everything

Help needed with recovering OP8

Hello dear xda-developers community,
i hope this is the right place to post this questions. Otherwise pelase notify me if there would have been a better place.
I have an old OP8 here (on A12) for playing around. Since i wanted to try to install kali nethunter on it for a while i decided to read a fiew threats on the forum and a couple of different blogs / websites. As i was unable to find any clear instructions (everybody seemed to have another approach in unlocking and rooting a OP8) i tried to go my own way. I mean... what could go wrong .
Unlocking the phone went pretty well so far but when it came to booting / flashing a new (recovery) image things went ... badly .
I'm now sitting on a OP8 that can pretty much only boot into 'Fastboot' or display me a beautiful message about the boot/recovery image beeing broken and not beeing able to boot from them. I already tried resetting the phone via the popular (?) MSM Tool that i got from another threat. The problem is, that i'm unable to boot into the requiered EDL mode. For some reason my OP8 just simply decides to not have that (except i'm missing something here).
I also tried booting / flashing a dedicated fastboot image that i got (again) from a threat on the forums. However i now seem unable to boot from / flash that image (via tool or manually) to the phone as everytime i try that i get a huge amounts of the error 'flashing is not allowed for critical partitions' despite the phone beeing unlocked.
Does somebody here have an idea how i can still fix that and eitehr flash TWRP or a factory image?
I would be really thankfull for any help
Kind regards
Panda

Luckily you can still boot into fastboot mode. So grab this recovery img and boot into it using fastboot boot recovery.img
That recovery will have an option to enable adb. On your pc use command "adb reboot edl" to boot into EDL mode. This is a guaranteed way. Note that EDL is just a black screen the phone will appear off, and your phone will only stay in EDL for about 10 seconds if it doesn't receive any commands than it will power on.
If MSM tool doesn't see your phone while in EDL, make sure you have the correct Qualcomm drivers installed to be able to recognize EDL mode. Also try using different cables and a USB 2.0 port.
