Hello all,
So I just got a Verizon Razr HD xt926 and while trying to flash the phone I am having a problem getting my changes to stick. Everything appears to work fine, boot up using BP Tools, install drivers, connect to phone, make changes, write changes, restart.
Upon restart all my changes are lost. Anyone else having this issue?
This phone was unfortunately updated to latest OTA so bootloader is locked, but I didn't think this would cause it to not take a updated PRL.. anyone else having an issue? Any ideas or suggestions?

Well so far what I have figured out is it has something to do with the newer Verizon SIM cards, they are what I'm calling "PRL Locked" ...
With no SIM in the phone I can write changes using QPST and do not get a SPC_CHANGE error
However put a brand new SIM from the Verizon store in the phone and it's locked to PRL 15009 and none of my NAM or PRL changes stick...
Waiting for a older Verizon SIM card to arrive to test and see if it makes a difference or not.

I am from Turkey and I got a Oneplus One 16GB from a friend, yesterday.
The phone was running on kitkat 4.4.x by then (probably CM11s bıt not sure). I inserted my sim card which worked fine. Checked the registration status of IMEI online which showed that it was registered. Means both IMEI and Operater were working by then.
Then I connected the phone to the internet and checked for the updates that were available. The phone automatically downloaded and installed the updates without any flashing or other intervention. Right now it is running CM 12.0 YNG1TAS213.
However, after the update, I was unable to connect to the operator. Apparently, the phone was continuously trying to connect to the operator and something was stopping it. I tried to figure out why and found the following things.
When phone is on airplane mode or without simcard, it shows the correct IMEI.
When I insert the sim card and check for the IMEI, it shows just an empty box.
I think there is some software bug that is creating a conflict between the IMEI and the sim card.

What are the possible reasons and how can I solve this problem? By downgrading to CM11 or anything else?

Hello guyz i have a sm-g920f galaxy s6 just bought 3 days ago second hand its been great i flashed the russian update from sammobile and flashed the custom kernel to root it i used it till today when i plugged it in my pc to transfer a movie and removed it suddenly it tells me "Sim card inserted.Restart" I restarted but it kept saying no sim card
now i tried different sim cards from different operators but still nothing flashed so many other firmwares and still nothing so guyz plzz help me if theres any solution to this problem i dont understand it if it is software or hardware :crying::crying:

could possible be a blocked IMEI!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Reflash stock 5.1.1 ROM via odin to solve your problem.
I already did that and nothing it just keep saying No sim card

Did you make sure it wasn't stolen?

The SIM card it is inserted in the phone, but the phone still writes: Please insert SIM card
The SIM card is new and in the other device is functional.

try checking csc via phone info.
Any fix to this?? I've just gotten the same problem on mine! Thought it might have reverted back to the region lock as I am now using a USA sim card and started off with a UK sim card. Just ordered a new UK Sim to see if inserting that one will fix the issue

I had this issue with my first Galaxy S6... I went into the three shop and checked my sim and that worked with another phone, but my phone would not accept any other SIM card. I was told to send to Samsung for repair, luckily I was in my 30 day amazon exchange period so I just sent back to supplier and bought a new one.
Same poblem here.. When i insert sim card, the phone restart and when enter in Android show message... "Error occurred while unlocking network... Network unlock code block".... Its a Japan Docomo network.. U think that can resolve it with a subsidy code? To unlock a sim?

This is what did the problem this sim problem appears days after doing this
1 flashing other rom model on different model like XEF on BTU...
2 updating android OTA failed
3 flashing with smart switch
Its not stolen its the g920f is the problem its sucks dude
If you dont have backup for efs folder and radio folder you need to fix it with octoplus box if you have warranty take it to samsung or if not visite repair place and ask for octoplus compatible with s6 but

2 signal drops time to time mybe disconnected during calls am sure you get disconnected because i have
3 flashing stock you get stuck in bootloops
And if some one ask you about s6 the answer is dont say s6 its s sucks

his tutorial to go back to my stock version and everything seems working fine untill today morning. My phone stoped detecting my sim card and I can't even go to sim card setting. Sim toolkit disappeared and Baseband showing unknown. Can anybody instruct me to fix this ?
Note : I don't have any backup EFS files :'(

Hmm, I still didn't find any solutions bro, but I think it's better to go to a repair shop. I didn't go to any repairing shop since I am done with this crap oneplus brands. Full of bugs :'(

I have been facing network issues after installing the latest OneUI 5.0 stable update officially through the Samsung OTA. Immediately after the reboot, the network automatically switched to 2G and hasn't upgraded to 4G LTE/5G since then. During the beta, I had 5G working for 3-4 weeks flawlessly.
Is someone else facing the same issue? I have since done a complete factory reset twice, sideloaded the latest stable update manually via adb. What else can I try? Samsung and Airtel both have asked me to wait 15 days to get this issue resolved.
Try that sim in another phone. Some airtel sims are falling

I 'm randomly missing calls, don't receive sms. Tried sim card in another device no issue. Only way to solve is going in airplane mode and going back to normal mode but it does not solve the issue.
Also did factory reset but it did not solve the issue. Hoping November update to come with fix or new kernel/modem.

I am a bit late for this but did you solved your problem? Because i have the same problem and i dont know what to do. I reflash with odin the latest update (reseting my phone) but nothing happed.

Hello Mario,
I managed to solve it by removing my secondary sim card, it seems that it was conflicting with the main one. Since then no more issues but it was 3 months ago and did not test back with two sim cards and i got 4 or 5 updates since then.

Maybe tro to move your sim card from one slot to the other one and test back. Also try with another sim card if possible, or with your current sim card in another phone.

I tried making my sim to esim but nothing changed. Then i make my esim to sim and tried both slots but nothing.

Can i contact samsung for replace or from my service provider where i got it?
Register you device with emei on Samsung site and ask for repair, i think it's always better to pass by Samsung directly. Hope you kept the invoice.
