I have not tried it personally.

I'm not going to buy it if hdr+ not working
Im currently using Pixel EX as my daily Driver Rom also already tested most of custom rom gcam work perfectly and GCam-5.1.018-Pixel2Mod-Arnova8G2-V8.3b1.apk as my stock camera
You can use what ever setting you want but firstly you need to go to advanced-fix camera api2-support level override choose ZSL reprocessing
