Flashed TWRP using fastboot to get temp TWRP to push the zip. Installed it, then restarted into TWRP but I accidentally locked my phone and had to reboot. Now I used adb to reboot, did a system reboot and my phone was still plugged in. Now my phone is stuck on the grey charging battery icon as if its shut off, even if it is off of the power. Cannot get it to restart or anything. Seems to be a bootloop. ADB will not detect my device, so I cannot do anything with that. Anyway to get out of it?

I was trying to flash GPE on my phone and it has been stuck for over a half hour. I cant power it off, reboot into recovery. I tried using adb but it says my device is unauthorized. I tried fastboot reboot but it just says waiting for device.
I had CM11 on my phone, I have TWRP (latest version I think) I went into TWRP and did a factory reset and tried installing my new ROM and then it seemed to finish, I hit reboot system and it went to the first screen you see when you power up the phone and it has been stuck there for over a half hour.
If it helps I have a backup sitting on my computer.
Is there anyway to override the fact that adb is seeing my phone as unauthorized?
PLEASE PLEASE HELP
TIA
EDIT: got it, held power+vol up for around 12 sec, then the second the screen went dark I held power+vol down and got into recovery

When you are in fastboot and have phone connected to PC hit the power button while Fastboot is highlighted. It should change to Fastboot USB. From here you should be able to get into recovery.
Hope this helps.
I have been having issues with my power button, because it kept powering my phone on and off on a loop. So I installed an app that let me use the volume button to wake my phone, but the app started to drain my battery. I realized that I could flash my phone with a ROM that could let me control what the buttons do. So I downloaded all the packages I needed such as ADB tools and the Nameless ROM. I also installed TWRP recovery package and set it up on the phone. I backed up my phone, but I think I accidently deleted the back up, because it wasn't showing up on the backed up list. By the time I figured this, I had wiped my phone. At this point, everytime I try to boot my phone, I get a message in the TWRP saying that I have no OS and if I would like to install SuperSU. I tried this option, the first time, my phone got stuck on the boot animation with 4 dots for a couple of hours. I switched the phone off, went to fastboot, wiped everything, and tried to the SuperSU again, this time, the phone is stuck on a Google screen. I do not know what to do. I tried to google this problem, but I couldn't find anything helpful. Is there anything I could do?
Thank You for your help
You don't have an system on your phone, so it wont boot. You need to boot into twrp, plug your phone into a computer, download any rom,
(
here is a link to paranoid android:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/go.../paranoid-android-7-2-1-aospa-google-t3639696
)
download gapps,
(
http://opengapps.org/
)
start adb on your computer
do adb devices
(your device should show up)
adb push path/to/paranoidandroid.zip /sdcard/
(change the path to the path of the file)
adb push path/to/gappsfile.zip
disconnect your phone
hit install
click/ navigate to and then click on the paranoidandroid(or other rom) zip file, click add more zips, click on gapps, hit install, wait and finally reboot.
The phone keep bootloopis while I was charging earlier now I cant boot properly,
I can access fastboot mode but I cant access twrp bcs after the twrp logo, i reboot back to os and loop forever.
I have replaced the battery and I still cant boot into it. any ideas?
Update: I flashed twrp while connecting to a charger now it boots, but im using the old battery, will update further

Press volume down while powering on. Does the bootloader appear? If it does, use
Code:
fastboot flash recovery NAMEOFTWRPIMAGE.img
Code:
fastboot boot NAMEOFTWRPIMAGE.img
Backup your data, reboot to bootloader and flash stock ROM before proceeding to flash a custom ROM (or try flashing the custom one directly).

I have a similar issue, as my phone also cannot turn on and I have TWRP recovery.
I had rooted my phone with SuperSU and unlocked the bootloader via motorola's tool. But then due to SafetyNet, apps such as Snapchat wouldn't work (cant log in), and I couldn't download Netflix (totally a huge issue).
So I decided to try switching to Magisk instead, as I heard that uses systemless root that doesnt trip Safety Net. While uninstalling SuperSU (using the built in feature for full removal), I was able to uninstall SuperSU and unroot my phone, but was not able to restore the stock boot image in the process. It was at this point I made a NANdroid backup in case I stuffed anything up.
Because of this, I was unable to flash Magisk via the TWRP recovery, so I downloaded a previous version of the firmware from January to flash back to from here. After flashing this and also wiping the user data, my phone booted up fine and worked, and appeared to be in normal condition.
However, then I elected to download and install the firmware update. This all went well, and was installing, until just at the end of the process, when the phone turned off. It had over 60% battery at the time.
At this point in time I'm still unable to get it to boot up, even into recovery or fastboot mode, so I cant really do anything, or restore my NANdroid backup.
If I plug it into my laptop, and hold the power + volume button down for a period of time, I can hear the USB connected tone (Windows 10), which then switches to a disconnected tone and a "USB device malfunctioned" error message pops up.
I tried leaving it unplugged all of last night just in case it was stuck in a boot loop or something so the screen couldn't display anything, in order to flatten the battery, but obviously I couldn't tell any difference. I'm currently now trying to have it plugged into power for an extended period of time just in case it is actually just flat. The current condition is just a black screen as if there was no power at all, with no lights or anything, regardless of a charger being connected, with the buttons not doing anything (I've attempted holding down the power and volume down buttons together for at least 2 minutes to no effect)
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
My specs: Moto G Turbo (2015), model XT1557, running Android 6.0.1. Can't remember exactly, but it previously had the latest firmware available before I tried flashing the January firmware.
Hi, I have a Verizon variant of the OG Pixel, and decided to try to unlock the bootloader when I found this guide recently.
https://www.xda-developers.com/how-to-unlock-bootloader-verizon-google-pixel-xl-running-android-10/
So my phone was working properly before I did anything following this guide, it did not bootloop or had any problem whatsoever.
I'm not sure what version of the OS I had before I wipe/factory reset and sideload ota image, but when I did the first factory reset, it boot into the system and through all the setup process without any problem, so I decided to factory reset again through the settings menu.
This time I did not let it boot into system but going straight into recovery, factory reset through recovery, sideload OTA image, then factory reset again through recovery like the guide said, then reboot.
Now I got a constantly bootloop device. It stuck in Google logo for longer then I think it needs, then reboot; sometimes it get to the G logo but freezes then reboot; sometimes it couldn't finish the G logo animation and freezes there then reboot; sometimes it goes through Google logo, G logo animation, Android logo on the bottom, then freezes and reboot; the furthest it make so far was the progress bar animation under the G logo but freezes after all and reboot with no luck.
Since this is a locked devices, I could not:
-Wipe anything through fastboot
-Flash anything through fastboot
-Boot into a custom recovery image through fastboot
-Downgrade through adb sideload
-Push files through adb (I have no usable system or custom recovery, no listed adb devices in recovery, push command in adb sideload mode was not permitted.)
Things I've tried:
-Factory reset through recovery
-Sideload OTA image with different USB cables or computers (It only allows me to sideload the latest OTA image, no downgrade premitted, and the result was always success with status 0 without any error message using any combination.)
-Smashed the power button to make sure it is not the case that my power button was stucked
-Make sure it has enough power in the battery (Charge while powered off did shows the charging animation though.)
-Tap on the phone/massage the phone like some Youtube video siad
-Put it into a freezer like some article said
I think I've done anything I could. I thought it was software problem since I had a properly working device just not a long time ago, and have no problem booting into bootloader or recovery, had no error message when I sideload OTA image and factory reset, but now I begin thinking that this could be caused by faulty hardware maybe a non-wetting joint or something (similar symptom did happened on my Nexus 7 2013 which will not boot unless I apply some pressure on the back where motherboard underlies.) But before I did all these factory reset and OTA thing it has no problem at all, so I still not fully convinced that my beloved phone becomes a paperweight just because the hardware suddenly decides to loose a solder point or something.
Did this happened to you guys? Is there something I can do that I missed? Or any way I can get my phone back alive again?
