Hi all
Since the last update on my gear fit 2 pro, I'm encountering issues with WhatsApp most with calls. I am not receiving notifications on this any more. I'm used to have my mobile phone on silent since I have the gear fit because it always vibrates on anything... Now it does on anything but not on WhatsApp calls. I just see the notification as a missed call and not even a vibration for that.
I have enabled all WhatsApp notifications in the Gear manager and the Phone settings.
Does anyone encountered this issue? Is there a solution for this?
PS: I'm using the GearFit 2 Pro with a Note8

Hi anyone here experiencing no notifications when someone is calling you? As far as I remember when I first bought Gear S2 you can answer or decline a call from the watch. But now, only missed call notifications are coming. Other notifications are ok.
I checked the Gear app and the "Incoming calls" option in the Notification tab is gone.
Is there any fix for this?
I am using Galaxy Note 5 with Ported Note 7.

I had the same issue. Tried to trouble shooting over chat with Samsung and at the Samsung booth at Best Buy. Ended up having to submit for warranty repair...

I am facing serious viber call issue on GS3 frontier , whenever i answered viber call on phone(Moto Z). The GS3 hangs and start blinking my name as viber call and goes totaly unresponsive . On the phone the voulme menu showup blinking and as long as it blink the viber conversation goes muted.
once i disconnet the call from phone. GS3 stays on viber call menu with blink screen untill i forced resrart.
Anyone there expereicing the same issue ? and any solution ?
I have the exact same problem, I now have to shut down the Gear S3 Frontier to answer Viber calls. I saw your post on the Samsung forum and how they conveniently blamed the App when it only does this on their watch... Im waiting for a solution.
Same thing happens with my Classic using Facebook Messenger. Very frustrating.

Do viber calls work on the classic?
Hi i have semi solution. When it hang and blink dont shut down it .simply turn off the blutooth of the mobile and turn it on .
I got my brand new mate9 3days ago and have a little problem with my huawei watch.
Mate9 is not sending all notifications to watch. for example watch does not receive calls. Phone rings and vibrates but at the same time nothing on watch. watch can not get any notification phone's applications except huawei messaging app.
Does any one get same problem?

So I have a Verizon Galaxy 8+ and when I put my phone in vibrate all notifications on my Gear vibrate and play a notification sound. But Messaging only vibrates, unless I take my phone off of vibrate.... it is getting annoying... When i had my S7 Edge i did not have this issue. It bothers me because I like to have my phone on vibrate and when I get a message my watch will Beep at me but now its not working? Anyone have any idea on how to fix this?
I Tried resetting the watch, trying a 3rd party messaging app (Textra) and its a no go for some reason.....
This is been a problem since the recent update of the S3 to the current firmware. I've talked to Samsung about it and they confirmed that it's an issue. They gave no promises they're gonna fix it. By the way the same thing happens on my phone as well which is an S7 edge.
What I see, is a if I use the stock messaging app on the S7 edge I can get audible text notifications on the watch, but then I can't do group replies from the watch.
Using Textra on my phone, or other text apps, I can do group replies on the watch, but get no audible text notifications on the watch.
It worked fine before the most recent firmware update on the watch, so clearly they've broken something, and just haven't released a fixed yet.

Gotcha, Yeah i tried going to the the stock messaging app and still get nothing unless I am not on vibrate. Thanks for the info!

Some time ago I bought a Mi Note 10 and I'm happy with this phone overall. Recently, by the way, I noticed a problem: sometimes the phone put all ring and notifications sound at zero, without any interaction by the user. So I miss calls and messages. Has anyone experienced the same problem? Can anyone suggest me a solution? Thanks in advance!

Incoming call sound
Hello. I have a problem with my Xiaomi mi note 10. When i have incoming calls the phone just vibrating, but does not have any sound. When i getting sms, messenger calls, notifications everything ok. I tried to put music on every number, tried to make SIM sound but nothing works. I dont hear when someone calls to me. Is it problem with my phone or just settings?
I had the same. Despite everything correctly allowed and set there was no sound for incoming SMS. However I had downloaded a different messaging app from PlayStore. When In reverted to the stock app, the sound worked. I don't think Xiaomi likes other apps although I didn't have the problem on my other Xiaomi phone. Look for setting to allow other apps or revert to stock app meanwhile. UPDATE: I uninstalled and then reinstalled the new messaging app and the notification sound worked.
