Huawei has a bigger 1/1.7" sensor, optical image stabilization and so called Leica lens. Doesn't seem to make much of a difference

The real difference would be in extreme low light conditions, P20 has better camera sensors to help in those conditions. I've seen several low light pics in reviews, it is really good. Our device is no slouch either though it falls a little back in low light conditions.
Honestly I wouldn't be bothered to spend a money on flagships when mid rangers are pretty much capable.
Can u share the link from the gcam version?

Not sure if they meant to have these available or not.. but I noticed the XZ2 studio samples while looking at their S9 review and if they're correct .. wow, it'd mean Sony actually "fixed" their camera issues for low light (and somehow messed up good light, but im less worried about that).
Look at this:

seems like its oversharpening a bit. for some areas with structure it looks good but the rubber bands are looking terrible. samsung has definitely reduced sharpening this time in comparison to sony
Even against the latest iDevice, and the Pixel XL2, i think its quite favourable.
I wonder if the XZ2 will work with the ported google camera app....
Went to a shop today to compare a $200 device against Samsung's best.
Here are the results. It's basically a Samsung vs Samsung, due to the samsung camera module in china version of note 5.
MIUI is quite good, but gcam is better at removing noise

Noticeable difference comparing to MIUI, do you have any tutorials how to install Gcam on redmi note5? Also does installing it/rooting really not void your warranty?

Both Samsung and Honor have released their in-screen camera phones yesterday.
I just found this picture: compare the hole of View 20 and the hole of Samsung. It is obvious honor's is much smaller.
Will a smaller camera hole have the same camera performance? I'm curious about it...

This has to do with craftsmanship, which means the craftsmanship of the Honor View 20 is better.
How the technique works? Want to know how they punch the hole on the screen
Funny Posters of View20 hole punch screen
I found some interesting posters about the in-screen camera from Honor weibo. So funny.
Observed these 2 very UNFORTUNATE major disadvantages:
1)
Saturation
Saturation
Contrast
settings in Camera is removed.

A big degradation. The default camera colors aren't live or properly vivid enough so Saturation mode was very necessary.
Wonder why does Xiomi keeps f**ukcing with very essential settings.
2)
Previously If we ran the Default camera app and then Gcam in background, shifting back to stock camera never used to freeze it.
Now I have to exit close both the cams and cannot run both simultaneously in the background as only Gcam works properly and stock cam freezes.
Already tried clear data/cache for stock camera its useless.
Now have to search for a compatible GCam for this update. If anyone has do share the link or apk.
Post Your Best Shots from the Honor 20
The Honor 20 has a pretty amazing 48MP camera on it. It has four cameras in total, including a wide shot camera, macro camera, standard camera, and a 2MP depth sensor. In this thread, post your best shots captured on the Honor 20. I'm particularly interested in seeing if anyone has been able to get good shots with the macro camera. So far every shot I've taken in super macro mode has been garbage.
I took his shot in pretty low-light conditions, with AI mode on.
