Error in removing system app folder in Lenovo K8 Note (Nougat 7.1.1) - General Questions and Answers

I'm a newbie and this is my first thread.
I'm using Lenovo K8 Note, rooted & flashed TWRP.
By using Terminal Emulator command:
Su
Busybox mount -o rw,remount,rw /system
I can uninstall system app like Duo, Google Play Movies, etc, which I never used with ES File Explorer. But whenever I restart the device, it automatically install it back.
So, I check the system file and found out that the application folder in system/app and system/vendor/operator/app can't be deleted. Seems like that the cause of automatic restore of the app.
Any one knows how to delete such folder? Please..

[Q] Cannot mount system as RW

Hi all,
please advice (google translator)
I installed the official rom B199. I'm trying to connect the system directory as r / w, but it fails (of course I have a ROOT). I trying different methods (adb shell, es explorer, Root Browser, Mount /system (rw / ro) app ...) but in vain. It still says that the system is read-only.
I managed to somehow using Root Browser remove a few system applications, a few user applications I moved on to the system folder, but the any other is not allowed.
In default.prop file I have "ro.secure=1". I am rewrote this to "ro.secure=0" and restarting phone, after restart is here "ro.secure=1" again.
I have a Huawei Y300-0100 official stock ROM B199, android 4.1
Thanks for the help

Click to collapse
es file explorer has an option to set read/write, try that, it worked for me on a similar issue
Yes I use it also Es File Explorer and don't forget to give it the root rights (settings of the apk) if you want to use r / w
Thanks, but ES explorer doesn't help.

[Completed] How to reinstall system apps in rooted samsung gt-7582 before installing a custom rom

I unstalled the system apps like gallery, music player etc. by es filemanager by backup.
but now that apk could not install.
it seems that a command like "APP DO NOT INSTALLED".
Hi
Open your file manager with root access and paste your apk in /system/app partition with right permissions. Reboot.

Chinese Phone running Android 4.2 - Malware built in, cant delete despite root

It took me a while to figure out that the bast**ds had built in the malware in the firmware, with the launcher. Phone is rooted, and I have changed the launcher. But I can't delete the malware apks inside system/app.
They are named as com.google.hardware.ext0.apk, and another similarly named (android air, and measure too)..
Problem is, I can't delete them, I tried using ES File Explorer (yes, root is enabled. I can delete, change other files in system/app but for this) I am denied permission!!
Then I tried the terminal emulator.. after getting SU.. tried deleting them using RM and then 'busybox rm..' both failed. What to do? How to delete the f****ng malware files??
(If I switch on the WiFi, malware automatically downloads more crap, then I can't even switch off Wifi and Data! Hence I formatted the phone and have not entered any sim or wifi settings... but I can't delete the damn files!! Any suggestions please?? Going crazy here)
regards
If you could install a custom recovery to flash a zip that delete this app...
Try a Root System App Deleter or, boot in recovery mode and remove it via ADB

Can't delete files using root

I'm using a realme phone Android 11 and I wanted to delete the original Apks which I found out that it's stored in file called /my_heytap and /my_region so I don't want them to be installed when I create a new user, I tried to delete them using Root Explorer and it told me: Delete failed, when I try delete it using adb, with su permission and rm -f /my_heytap/app/YouTube what It told me: that it's read only files, anyone have fix for that?
Make the mentioned directories / files read-write-able. Then removing them should work.
