Hi guys,
I strongly want to buy this fantastic device, but it's too expensive in CIS (Ukraine, Russia and so on), so can anybody give an advice where is it better to buy it?..

Just afraid that I won't get proof and truly working device..)
So for now I can look for a bargain on handtec.co.uk...
Any other suggestions?..
Swappa is perfectly fine. The Swappa staff highly regulates sales and the sales are done through paypal so you have the paypal protection. Also you can buy brand new devices on Swappa.
My source for all of the above: I have bought and sold devices on Swappa, just sold my S3 yesterday in fact
I was just browsing on price dot com dot hk, and saw that a company called 28mobile were doing some CNY promotion selling the D821 below 3000 HKD and 32GB below google play store price.
Could anybody verify if this is legit or not?

Idk but anyone using a holo blue status bar on a nexus 5 to advertise doesn't seem legit to me.

Looks like a clone to me.
The phone settings that this is definitely a 16GB device, but when you open the cover why does it show 8GB printed inside?

This is happening a LOT. Mine just came today and it's the same. I have a feeling what happened is they had all the phones pre-assembled, stickers and all, ready for moto maker, then they ran out of parts, so they disassembled the ones sitting around not being ordered (8gb) and reprogrammed some of the 16gb motherboards with the IMEI on the sticker.
Or they just f*cked up and printed 8gb on them by accident lol
either way, some people have contacted Motorola about it and it's not going to make any difference with anything, They're aware of the situation, you still got exactly what you paid for, and it doesn't affect your device in any way.
Ok, but will it affect resale value?

No. Why would it? It's a 16 gig

Just because it's printed incorrectly.

No, it's fine. if anyone gives you any issues, refer them to motorola customer support. They're aware of the issue.
I'm returning my g5 until there is root available. I plan to purchase one again if root becomes available in the near future. I have the battery and camera promotion items being sent to me. Do those need to be returned as well?

Nope I had 2 return 2 LG devices cause of screen bleed and I asked them the same question and they said no just return the phone.
Disclaimer: doing this more than once with no issue to the phone can set up a red flag for scam.

Sweet thanks. Yeah I have no interest in doing this more than once, just like to know I have the freebies when I buy again. If hate to spend $650 on a phone again and not have the 360 camera and battery.
Sent from my LG-H830 using Tapatalk
I'm thinking... If you've received the freebies you're more then likely out of your return/refund period considering how long it takes to process the orders.

T-Mobile sent me the shipping label last night, phone is going out tomorrow.

So you are returning a phone, that you appear to like, until it has root then you are buying it again? Not really sure what that accomplishes but to each his own.
You're paying a $50 restocking fee because of no root? Must be nice. While you're in the giving mood, ill take $50

LOL go figure.
By then LG will most likely patch the ability to root. Better to keep the damn phone that you have rather then get set up for failure.
It's gone guys, let this thread die. My question has been answered.

Can you at least share the answer?

Bubble wrap and packaging peanuts when shipping DHL is probably your best bet.
No I'm talking about safety, so what else do I have 2 buy 2 be safe, like a particular usb charger, cause of the different voltage & what not?
