How to Root Sony Xperia Z1 - General Questions and Answers

Hello everyone, I use Sony Xperia Z1 and I need to root my device correctly. Once I tried to root the mobile with KingRoot rooting application. The root completed successfully but in few seconds the mobile goes shutdown but it was fully charged. Then I tried to switch on the device but unable to start. I connected the charger but my Xperia Z1 did not display even charging. Then I broke the seal and remove the back cover and then the battery. Then reconnect the battery and connected to the charger again. After that, the smartphone started but it discharged in a short time. Then I removed all files related to the root but the matter did not change. Then I changed the battery and now the mobile runs without admin privileges. I need to know how to root my Xperia Z1 correctly and what are the requirements/tools. Please reply someone who can help for this matter.

[Q] Sony Xperia Sola phone display blinking

I have a Sony Xperia Sola 2012 model running factory-installed Gingerbread.
Today, its display suddenly went white and then the phone now keeps flashing on (only white) and then goes black over a duration of 10-15 seconds.
I tried connecting via USB to Sony PC Companion, but the device is switched off before it is connected to the computer and then starts over again.
In short, I am stuck. Any way I can recover the device or its data?
Thanks in advance.

Xperia Z5 Dual PC Connection issue.(Solved)

Sharing my experience..
Recently after Windows 10 update - Microsoft -WPD 5.2.5326.4762, my both HP Xw6400 workstation and Dell Inspirion 3148 were not showing or detecting my Xperia Z5 Dual, neither as MTP device nor getting detected in Sony Companion app.
I suspected about USB cable, USB ports and even Z5 micro USB port, Tried removing Sony Companion app. Updated drivers etc. but in vain.
Did reset my Z5 Dual but issue was same.
After reading all through night and a day somewhere in Sony Forum I found a simple fix. It worked hence sharing with you all....
1. Open This PC.
2. Go to C:\Windows\INF
3. Search in right corner wpdmtp.inf
4. Right click and install.
5. Allow installation and Problem solved.
Solution seems easy but it took time to find it. Hit thanks if it worked for you.
I don't know what but, my phone was being detected when it suddenly stopped showing up in my pc. Some setting has gone wrong in phone. I restarted both devices but still. Shown unknown device in manager and says mtp could not be installed.
Try in another PC, with some other USB cable. Try whatever I have stated above

Xperia Z5 (E6683) Dead USB

First of alli beg your pardon for my English.
I have a Xperia Z5 (E6683) about 6 months ago and everything worked normally until I upgrade to Android 7.1.1.
My cell phone does not recognize that it is plugged into the charger or the PC.
- Restore factory settings.
- Reinstalled Android.
- Installed Android 6.0, 6.0.1 and 7.0.
- PC Companion
When I finish installing any version of Android, the USB connection of the cell phone works normally. I can recharge, transfer files ... After 1 or 2 days the USB simply stops working or if I reboot the phone the USB also stops.
I tried Android 5.1.1 and the usb works to load, but not to transfer files. If I restart the smartphone connected to the pc it recognizes that it is connected, but I can not recharge.
Apparently it's not a physical flaw, it seems more of a logical thing, since it works normally when I finish installing Android. It seems that some internal Android process causes the defect to appear.
I've been researching for almost a month, but I do not think anything like it, has anyone ever seen this kind of defect? Would anyone know how I can solve or indicate some place where I can search for a solution?
Thank you.
