fastboot method
* Unplug the USB cable, turn off your device and take out the battery
* Replace the battery and turn the device on holding the 'volume up' key. The device will stay at the 'green android' screen.
* Plug the device into the PC.
* From a command prompt run 'fastboot flash recovery recovery-RA-blade-v2.0.0.img'
* When this finishes, from the command prompt run 'fastboot reboot'
update.zip method
If you have a previous version or another recovery install, install the update.zip and restart your device.
To enter recovery mode, restart your device holding down the 'volume down' key, or type 'adb reboot recovery' from the command line.

This is a custom recovery based on Cyanogen's recovery source with a lot of things added by Sebastian404. The purpose of this recovery is to avoid using adb by accessing all features directly from the menu.
Important notes
* Always check recovery.log before posting your issues!
You can do this by doing :
o "cat /tmp/recovery.log" OR "cat /cache/recovery/log" right after you had the issue.
o Use the "move log to sd" option in the "others" menu right after you had the issue. This will move the log to /sdcard/recovery.log so you can easily open it with a text editor.

Use the volume buttons (up+down) to navigate through the menu, press the Home-key to select items. Use the Back-key to go back to a previous menu.

* Added a mount menu so you can manually (u)mount stuff.
* Added a toggle verification switch so you can flash those awesome unsigned winrar rom releases...

Last time someone did post links in xda, he had that major bandwidth eatting problem and then we couldnt get the roms for a week or so...

I installed recovery from ROM manager but when I tried to boot into recovery using ROIM manager it booted to recovery mode with menu displayed upside down.also there are only 4 options in it
Please help to display recovery mode in proper orientation..

The inverted recovery u see is the stock recovery, you have to flash the cwm recovery. Just follow this link http://android.modaco.com/topic/327215-recovery-clockworkmod-recovery-for-zte-blade-oledtft/ and download the recovery manager app and install it.then open app update database after giving it root rights, you have to be rooted first. Now after updating database click install recovery and choose the recovery u want to have and do whatever u want :screwy::banghead:

Download LOS-14.1 and OpenGapps zips and put in /sdcard
Before you install LOS-14.1: Preparation (First three are optional. If you want to start fresh, these can be skipped)
Install AppBak from Market, run it and save a list of all your apps.
Install SMS Backup and Restore from Market, run it and backup your SMS history.
Install Call Logs Backup and Restore from Market, run it and backup your call log history.
Boot into TWRP recovery. Make a full backup. You will need this backup later if you decide to go back to your previous ROM and data.
WARNING: Many apps will Force Close crash if you restore data from a previous ROM.

Use TWRP Recovery from the attachments for now!!
Warning: Only use the recovery from the attachments to flash LOS-14.1. Otherwise, you risk bricking your phone!
Wipe system, data, dalvik and cache. (For clean installation)
Flash lineage-14*.zip.

Reboot phone.

Upgrades
Upgrades from previous versions of LOS-14.1 are the same process as install, except you do not need to wipe anything. Contrary to popular belief, you do not need to even wipe cache and dalvik-cache when upgrading between LOS-14.1 versions. You only need to wipe if you are doing a major upgrade, switching to a different ROM entirely, or attempting to fix bugs caused by bad backups or corrupt app data.

i flashed the cm14 rom and opengapps 7. i feel so good then cm13.
bugs:
1. home wifi speed slower than your cm13 , 10feet distance the signal weak obviousely.
2. gps search star not so stable and sometime found 7 star, then it drop to 0 or less.
3. internal file manager enabled to superuser but fail to get the permission to read/write file on ext sdcard.
user ESexplorer enable root function can be read/write ext sd.
4. some apps not compatible with this rom.
link2sd can not open, mytv can open but not work both steaming /non-steaming videos,
youtube video ok.
rootexplorer new ver ok.
radio ok
bluetooth connect speaker ok but connect bt headset not stable its some lag of song.(maybe my headset not really compatible)
phone call ok data ok but not test speed.
screen some times freeze no respond

Funciona correctamente, mejor cm13. El fallo del GPS es cuando se dice que reduzca las conexiones para ahorrar bateria.
No es capaz después de conectar. Lo malo no puede conectar con google + en POKEMOS GO. (NO ENCUENTRA EL SERVIDOR)

standyby mode screen off (data 4G/3G=off, gps=off)，result=120min (1% wasted);
if (data 4G/3G=on,gps=off) , result=1min (0.15% wasted).
the data on result more battery drain. how to improve this.

You need to use QFIL flashtools

what do you need :
QFIL Flashtools:
to use flashtools we need to install the flashtools driver first.
Drivers
1. we need to use the Qualcomm HS-USB QDLoader 9008
in the downloaded zip is the Qualcommdriver , just install it .
this will install:
HS-USB QDLoader 9008 and Qualcomm HS-USB Diagnostics 900E
for Flashing we only need the HS-USB QDLoader 9008.
set up QPST/QFIL Qualcomm Flashtool
-Start the.exe file in QPST.2.7.460 folder.
-accept the terms
-dont change the install path . (
-choose complete installation
-install
- you have to browse to the QFIL.exe in C:\Program Files (x86)\Qualcomm\QPST\bin , best would be to make shortcut for it on the desktop.

4. How to use it:
We need to reboot to edl (emergency download mode) use flashtools.
remember to enable usb debugging in developer settings
you can easy reboot to EDL Mode via adb, use:

in Select Build Type:
choose: Flat Build
in Select Programmer:
browse to the extracted eragon folder and choose the "prog_emmc_ufs_firehose_Sdm660_ddr.elf" file
Load XML:
now choose the rawprogram_unsparse.xml and right after the patch0.xml
you can press the "download content"
wait a bit , at the end of the flashing procedure it will make an error, thats normal if the patch0.xml is empty.

You are on 20180423 Base . then you can flash TWRP recovery and use it to flash Eragon.

1.place the twrp.img into your adb folder
now we use adb

2. now we falsh it to both partitions with

now reboot from bootloader to recovery using volume buttons
and flash eragon rom zip
Optional make a fullwipe in recovery/wipe/advanced, select system,data,cache and dalvik to prevent issues
after that flash the rom zip twice!
first initial with twrp will be like taht, you have to flash it twice..

I also use nova prime and its works right after installing.
Install nova prime from playstore and you will be fine.
If that don't work because you have the APK on your PC and not bought it in playstore do this:
1. With mixporer explorer go to root/data/app
2. Make a new folder called novaprime
3. Copy the prime.apk into it.
4. Reboot

So you don't bought it on playstore. Mhh hope it's not a cracked one.
Did you merged the root into system?
Magisk manager / install/ choose direct install.
If prime don't work after that. Send me a PM.
Btw
Try System-root/system/priv-app folder and make it like you did in data/app.

You extract the rom.zip. there is a Eragon v1.0folder in the zip. Place that on your desktop.
Then use qfil flashtools to flash it.
(Look into my guide for it. On first page )

here you can find my version of LineageOS 19.1 for our Samsung Galaxy S3 (I9305).
This is a beta build, also from the LineageOS side, there are typical functions still missing, so don't install it if you want a completely stable and completed ROM and don't report my already listet bugs!
Attention:
Sometimes it needs another reboot to find the sim card.

You could use a gps.conf from https://app.box.com/s/w57s1v1n3hie7l5lk28i for your location and replace /vendor/etc/gps.conf.
Or you try GPS Server Optimizer app for a faster 3D fix.
For both methods you need root rights.
I would recommend to use microG instead of BitGapps,
here you can find the installation instructions:

Open Magisk and update the App (and do a reboot if it's asking)
Enable Zygisk in Magisk
Download and install microG installer in the Magisk manager, reboot

Check with a safetynet checker app and you should pass

Thank you for the great job. Having 12 on our old SIII is amazing ! Have now a very limited use of this device with Build 0215 - but works like charm. Although tech is old, transitions and speed are more than acceptable, ...
Have tried update OTA but ended in bootloop on LOS logo.
Tried a clean install with 0308 build same bootloop.
Tried Magisk - stuck on Samsung logo

Did you have older bitgapps installed?
(If yes, you would have to reflash them)
It's hard to say why you're facing a bootloop, it did really work fine on my testing device.

I use my SIII gappless, same with my S5. => I ota over 0215 gappless !
Then I did several attempt: after full format:
- restore build 0215 + flash Magisk + Bitgapp didn't work
- flash build 0308 + Magisk 24.2 or 21.4 didn't work
- flash build 0308 + Bitgapp for 12 didn't work
- flash build 0308 + MindTheGapp for 12 didn't work
So far, its fine with 0215 for my limited use (no tel, no text, no mail client, few use of internet browser, few specific Apps installed: SDMaid, AllToolinONE, Mixplorer, MusicSpeedChanger. Except Mixplorer where I noticed some laggy transitions, the other apps work fine.

This would have pointed me maybe to the problem,
my device still works fine, but I may will try a factory reset.
(I'm using it with gapps at the moment)

Switched to Android 12L , attention, this could not work with your existing gapps! (mindthegapps will work)

Clean install 19.1-20220317-HTML6405-i9305.zip, no gapp went very well. So far so good

On previous version 0317, I succedded to flash magisk 24.3 but didn't work properly - device became very laggy or stuck, the permissions granted didn't stay, therefore I removed it

Samsung didn't publish their proprietary implementation for VOLTE.

Very nice rom, I like the settings design and there's a good amount of customization. Don't know about battery life but I'll test it.
How do you flash the rom? For me it said "to import more Zips I have to switch from A/B" tried everything
Is anyone else having screen flickering issue on dark theme? And is there a possible fix / solution for it? Thanks in advance. Haven't found any other bug so far, seems pretty stable and buttery smooth for everyday usage.

Not sure if it would help here but I have noticed some other ROMs with this similar problem and it pertains to the screen refresh rate. In the display settings, try changing the "Min Refresh Rate" to 90Hz. Unfortunately, of course that means a slightly higher battery drain, but it might solve your flickering problem.

It's simple, you just format data, reboot back to recovery, choose adb sideload then run "adb sideload file.zip" let it do it's thing then boot. You could try putting the file onto the internal storage as well if using TWRP but again, format data, reboot back to TWRP, upload file to internal storage, flash then boot.
The switching partitions (A/B) when flashing more zips is only if you want to flash a gapps package after the ROM. I do not believe you need to do that with this ROM, I'm pretty certain GApps are included. And you also don't usually need to manually switch from A to B (or vice versa), just a reboot back to recovery after flashing will automatically switch it for you.

Thank you! This seems to have fixed the screen flickering issue.
I went from stock OOS to this tired of waiting for A12 and to try out Android 13 for myself.
So far after 24hrs it seems enough to stay with it for a while without worrying too much.
Some bugs/anomalies/features I miss:
- SmoothDisplay and min/max refresh rate 60/90hz works with a lag. There is a noticeable stutter when the screen is static and switched down to 60Hz when you try to scroll - it stutters when it needs to scroll and switch back to 90Hz. With smooth display on, the 3 gestures navigation was really bad - swiping from the edge to go back was a total hit or miss.
I have set the refresh rate to min/max 90Hz only, turned off SmoothDisplay and it all works without a problem.
- auto brightness as annoying AF like on stock OOS. It tries to force and lower my brightness from typical 60-70% to around half that.
Also I noticed the phone lowers light when the screen is static and unused for a while and then it goes back to higher brightness, like there would be some logic to conserve battery and lower light on static screen (for reading?). Anyway, lets hope there is actually something to learn in A13 and it will stop lowering brightness by such a huge margins that I need to manually swap it back to 70%.
- no temperature correction of display panel in options, only Natural, Boosted or Adaptive and full RGB, Contrast etc. sliders.
Also, Natural seems oversaturated a bit compared to OOS stock. Seems Adaptive is the most color accurate.
- volume center, when you change volume and tap menu icon to go to expanded sound menu with the sliders, entire menu is dimmed down, only "Done" button seem to have normal brightness
- slider switch on the phone does not mute Media sounds when all the wat to silent position. I think on stock OOS it did mute everything besides Alarms. Now it does not mute Media so if something start to playback in the phone, everybody will hear it. there is option in Device Extras to set it to DnD but after that, it mutes everything including Alarms. On stock OOS you could mute your phone for the night but still be able to hear the Alarms which was a nice feature.
- in Network->Sim settings->Preffered network type, you can choose from "LTE only", "LTE recommended" and "3G".
Choosing LTE recommended shows in the menu that it is also LTE only so not sure which option is which. Should be clarified like on stock OOS with 4G/3G/2G, 3G/2G etc.
LTE only and LTE recommended seems convoluted?
- no option to remove the built-in weather from Lockscreen.
Need to take a trip to check out BT audio in car, Android Auto etc. In terms of signal and wifi quality, everything seems to be working fine.

I can only understand English.
But, that appears to be a computer user error. Here's a trick, type adb sideload then click AND DRAG the rom.zip file INTO the command window - it will auto fill the directory/location of the file. Because that is what you're missing. If the rom is in the "Minimal ADB and Fastboot" folder, I would guess it should say something like
adb sideload C:\Program Files (x86)\Minimal ADB and Fastboot\rom.zip
That should work.

Why write her for India?
You need to rename downloaded file to "rom.zip" and put it in the same folder as adb program if you want to flash it with this command.
Long screenshot seems to be broken.
More bugs/errors pop during daily use. No sure if this rom qualifies for a safe daily driver.
Some apps work only on 4/5 of the screen height.
Battery drain is excessive, especially while on screen - its either refresh rate bug or auto brightness bug or both of them are draining battery. Running any app while using screen or maps or similar drains battery fast.
Not sure if it is worth to keep up with this rom. Probably will go back to stock.

For me I haven't encountered any bugs yet and battery life is better than stock, you should've tried flashing the firmware before install just to be sure everything works right.

I have been on this ROM since the day it came out, honestly I've found no bug other than screen flickering if you've opted for auto 60/90hz refresh rate ( @theslam08 suggestion on changing the minimum refresh rate fixed that as well). Battery life is the best among all other A13 custom ROMs as of now, I would suggest you to do a clean flash as per provided instructions. I can confirm this ROM is stable for daily usage, really very impressed with it being one of the early A13 ROMs.
