Faster delivery if they sell off on official store.
This is pre-order. might backfire , but Amazon tends to get a good lot of quantity.
You cannot pre-order it otherwise.
Hopefully the 128gb version midnight black will be plenty for Amazon even when official store goes back order.
I'm fine with 128gb, the 256gb would be the only incentive for me to wait for official store.

As I understood from the Dutch site belsimpel.nl the 256GB version will be available in 3 weeks approximately might be more/less but also might be the reason that Amazon doesn't show it at all.

No question. I was also able to snag a $259.00 64 GB Nexus 6 on Amazon's Black Friday deal for my wife. Couldn't pass this MXPE deal even with no motomaker. Plenty of custom cases and wraps to pimp it out later ?

I bought mine on October 29 for 439€ but it was not custom made. Also it was a French import to Portugal in a Portuguese online store, they are selling it now for 455€.

Yeah, I don't think moto maker is worth $150, but I guess it depends on how much you like the custom design.
Bought mine via Amazon on 11/30 for $399 - chatted with them online and asked nicely and they gave me $42.50 refund - not quite the same price but close.

Only picking this phone up as my back up-device. Like the dashcharging and dual SIM. I might use this phone to snap quick RAWs/DNGs from this camera but I know this will be my daily driver as my secondary device. It'll be interesting to see this one stack up against my Pixel 2 XL. I am sure it is just *pretty* hardware internals, I want to see if this phone will be something I'll use the next 2 years as my backup.
