Hello this is only for that model
Latin América has 3 diferent models
Im using the L03C121
Could this firmware apply for my model?
The model presented in the previous post is the standard in the region, for its Single or Dual versions ... if the one you have in your post is from a specific provider you should wait for it to release that update ... just as it did Claro from Peru ...

In fact if it is applicable to your model since it is from the same region ... only it will not be fully compatible since it will show in the compilation of it in the settings section that the update is not the official one for the provider itself.

What files should I download? udpate zip (is same for the 2 models?) , update full l23 zip and update data full public?
If you have the standard version for Latin America which is the RNE-L23C605 being this the DUAL version, you have to download the Uppdate.zip, the L23 hwla and the public ... and then follow the steps given by the HWOTA post depending if you are in Nougat or Oreo ...
If you have the RNE-L03C605, you should download the uppdate.zip, the L03 hwla and the public, follow the steps of the HWOTA post ...
If by chance you did rebrand previously to obtain OREO from other regions you should return to the OEIMFO of our region ... to be able to proceed ...
All this depends on the specific version of your mobile ... since it must be the same one you have the one you want to install ... if you install the one that is not ... you will cause the compile brick and you will say that the Firmware does not correspond to the region or your mobile.

Great news for Latin America.
I have two questions, I hope you can help me:
1.- ¿Which firmware should I use if I have the RNE-L03C521B130 versión? I'm from México and the carrier is Movistar.
2.- ¿Any idea of how to unlock the bootloader now that the huawei page is down?
Thanks in advance.
dude
because the version
RNE-L03 / L23 C605 has 2 OTAS? I am downloading them from the firmware application and when I finish downloading the OTA it tells me that I need the other OTA, that is, 100% update goes to 50%, is this normal?
como se instala esto? tengo un L23 con rebrand L21 en oreo, si ago rebrand a l23 podre instalar esta no?

Good afternoon.
Huawei unlock service will be available by 60 days after may 24, 2018 (only for devices released before this date). My question: is really it necessary, or is it optional?

Hi,
I have bought LG Lucid2 VS870. It's Verizon phone but it is GSM technology supported and I want to use it on any GSM network.
does anyone know how to unlock it?
I know that it's illegal to unlock smartphone without carrier's permission, but I live in europe and I don't care about DMCA rules..
thanks in advance
this phone does support GSM , but somehow network access is being blocked or something ..
i hope developers consider this phone or unlock GSM for this phone ... this is a pretty nice phone with decent specs

Possible Hard Locked
Hi.
Mi opinion is, this phone is hard locked, I can try to Sim Unlock this with other LG model ROM enter the code 2945#*870# an this send the message "this phone is permanently locked and cannot be unlocked" in all options.
1. Test, Zip recovery ROMs tested and Ported:
Root the phone and install Recovery (Loki patch).
Xperion_l1v_11-2-2014.zip is base ROM
Extract all system files to:
- VS870 (Edit build.prop and test kernel "Unsecured_kernel_l1v_9-25-14.zip")
- LG875
- V930
- P870
- Sphinx_Escape_V1 (Works 2945#*870# code, only acept LTE/CDMA and CDMA to select in settings)
Then inject system folder in base ROM (Xperion), and install from recovery.
2. Test, KDZ files tested to test own kernels:
- LG p780 works, touch fail
- LS930 No works, freeze the updater
- MS770 No works, Display problems
To return to original rom, Run the updater with the VS870 kdz file.
Final observations:
I do not know how to inject apks and files in the framework folder without generating an error or boot loops.
I try to mix the system folder of various roms, but I had problems with locks and system apps crash.
Greetings from Colombia and excuse my translation.

Recently bought a Z3 and I received today, I come from a Z1 so I know that there are different variations, I was reading how to be root on the Z3 and says that I have to downgrade to 23.0.A.2.93 (for D6603 / D6653) or 23.0.F.1.74 (for D6633) the problem is that my device says it's a D6646 and can't find firmware for this device anywhere including xperifirm, What firmware can I use? I don't want to lose the 32gb and LTE. I attached several screenshots with more complete information
If not mistaken d6646 is the model for American region..
Sent from my D6653 using Tapatalk
Is there a way to backup the entire firmware? (All partitions including system, modem, etc.) in case of loosing LTE bands or the 32gb of internal storage trying to downgrade to get root
Enviado desde mi D6646 mediante Tapatalk
I made a huge advance, I tried to root my device using KingRoot and works! ? (I know that some people says that KingRoot sends the IMEI to china but don't cares if it's true) I installed NUT's dual recovery, flashed SuperSU, deleted KingRoot, I have full Root access.
Also I create a backup from: PC Companion, Flashtool, PRFCreator.
At the beginning I though that my device was a clone, falsification, etc. But PC Companion detected and could download the correct firmware (D6646 23.4.A.1.232 Customized-US GLOBAL32G-LTE)
I'm happy now but why I can't find any information for this variant?
Enviado desde mi D6646 mediante Tapatalk
Seems pretty much an unbranded version of the D6616 from TMO.
I would like to get a d6646 z3 anyone have an idea where I might be able to get one
D6646 firmware ftf
Disculpen alguien me puede ayudar no encuentro el firmware del z3 d6646 lo necesito urgente alguien sabe donde conseguirlo o me lo puede facilitar gracias a todos.
I´m sorry guys, but a company here offered me a Z3 D6646 (the LTE, 32Gb version of Z3) at an amazing price ($400) and, of course, I want to root it ASAP.....does anyone know a method? I was reading here a lot but all the methods are for the Z3 D6603, D6653 and D6633 versions. And, I want to avoid KingRoot if possible
If anyone can send the in the right direction, I would much appreciate that.
TIA.

I believe Verizon requires phones purchased from them to be active on a Verizon account for one month before you can bring it to another carrier.

Verizon branded phones cannot be bootloader unlocked, therefore the global rom cannot be flashed.
As far as the sim part, you may have to call Verizon if it is a Verizon branded phone.

Nope.
The phone will be locked to Verizon unless it's used on a Verizon account for at least 60 days. There may be a paid service to unlock it, but Verizon's policies and management are hardasses about it now.

Hello
I have some experiences with Xiaomi Phones and unlocking, flash other firmware with them.
Now i changed to a Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra Snapdragon Version. Modelnumber "SM-N986N" and Software Version "N986NKSU1ATH1/N986N0KR1ATH1/N986NKSU1ATH3.
I have serveral questions and hope you can help me in this case:
1. I live in Switzerland and bought this device from a online shop. It seems look like this device is from Korea.
2. Everything works OK, also the network with my provider from switzerland and with my swiss sim card.
3. There are serveral bloatware in this device, also a provider bootscreen with "SKT 5GX"
4. I have also some carrier menues in the settings.
My question: Is it possible to flash a "Carrier free" firmware? If yes how? And which firmware? I read Samsung peopel flash firmwares with "Odin" Software.
How can i check if the bootloader is unlocked on this device? With Xiaomi phones i did it with Mi Flash Tool and had some waiting times before the bootloader can be unlocked.
Would be very greatful for a help.
Thanks in advance and have a nice day!
That's the same version (SK Telecom) I have, but I live in South Korea. Right now, I'm only aware of the Snapdragon variant being sold in the US, Korea, China, Taiwan, and Hong Kong - probably others. You should be able to unlock the oem bootloader in developer settings; I'm not certain just changing the setting there is enough to actually unlock it though. It may require further steps in adb /fastboot or some other method. (It's been a long time since I've messed with a Samsung phone.) Also, I've yet to see firmware with XAA designation, which is carrier free, but it's still early days. You will need a patched version of Odin to flash a different firmware:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/android/software/patched-odin-3-13-1-t3762572
A safer fix for now might be to debloat all of that SK carrier specific stuff using ADB commands. ADB AppControl provides a GUI to easily identify and uninstall or deactivate any apps you don't want. I know it's not what you're looking for, but I wouldn't expect a lot of development for the Snapdragon version, especially the Korean variant.

You need to change the handset csc to KOO which is the Korean unbranded csc. I can see that your handset csc is currently SKT. You need to check through the S20 forum for methods of how to change your csc.

Hi, thank you so much for your information!
Have now further question about it:
After i switch on unlocking bootloader in the developer setting, can i just flash this KOO Firmware over my SK Firmware? Or do i need to change the "CSC" from my handset first like west2cool said in the previous post? Do i really need a different Odin version to do this?

It seems look like, i don't need to change the CSC, because i saw 3 different firmwares for SM-N986N and the KOO is the unbranded Korean version. Here https://www.sammobile.com/samsung/galaxy-note-20-ultra-5g/firmware/#SM-N986N
So can i just click unlock bootloader and flash it with odin with the instructions on the right side? https://www.sammobile.com/samsung/g...e/SM-N986N/KOO/download/N986NKSU1ATH1/357959/
Thank you for your help.

You need to change the handset csc to KOO which is the Korean unbranded csc. I can see that your handset csc is currently SKT. You need to check through the S20 forum for methods of how to change your csc.

Hi, thank you for your help!
So did i understand you correctly: Do i need to change first this CSC (what is this) to KOO? I saw under my modelnumber by sammobile there was 3 different firmwares online. One was KOO. Can i install it directly with odin after i switch on unlock bootloader under developer settings?
Thank you for your help

Yes you do need to change the csc first. When you searched for your mobile firmware on Sammobile you would have found software for 3 or 4 different csc as those are the country specific codes for Korea. All of them are branded operator software with the exception of KOO. If you flash the KOO software without changing csc nothing will happen and the phone will remain branded.

Hi Sir
So, i just flashed the KOO Version with odin, without change the CSC. Flashing was sucessfull, but everything is the same like before and device has been reseted.
If i install the KOO Rom, i need to put 5 files to Odin. Once is this CSC file, which was in the KOO Firmware Folder. So, i need to replace this CSC File with a other one, right?
So, which CSC File should i take? Can i just replace it with a other one from a other country?

When you flashing the firmware you need to use csc Home in order to keep your data. But as I said you need to change csc first.
All four CSC's listed on Sammobile are the same - maybe that will change when firmware gets more updates. Just check on my phone, I went into "Settings" --> "About phone" and wrote down my IMEI Number. I opened my phone app, entered *#272*IMEInumber#, pressed dial and saw an MMI Invalid message before it closed. Now, I'm registered on SKT (SKC) , so it's possible there are no other CSC options available for me. @Lavendel Queen Try the dialer procedure to see if you have any options to change your CSC. If not, I don't think it's easy or straightforward to change CSC at this time.

That method using the dialer no longer work on Samsung phones since the release of the S20 series.

Well, that figures. I was just trying to help the OP. So, I guess changing the CSC is not an easy endeavor, and may not even be possible anymore.

There are still a few possibilities. Please follow the below links, both are waiting for apk or Software update. I haven't heard if anyone with a Note 20 tried the free apk yet.

Hi
Thank you for your help.
I already knew about this information from the S20 Forum. This steps are no more working. So i didn't get a list with CSC numbers after typing the dialer code for this.
So it seems look like everything is difficult with Samsung :====)
Today i sold my Note20 Ultra and bought Mi 10 Ultra. I am going back now to Xiaomi. Easier with Custom Roms, Rot, unlocking etc.
Kind regards

Hola

hey How are you I want to ask you some questions I don't know if you can private How are you I want to ask you some questions I don't know if you can private
I have the above phone. The model number is IN2019. I see on LineageOS page that it is not supported.
Is there a ROM available for this model that has been de-googled?

Any AOSP rom will work as long as Gapps is not included in it.
Could you elaborate? I thought the ROMs were specifically written for specific models.

Sorry , as far as I can see the Verizon model has a locked bootloader.
Well crap on a cracker. I bought this phone specifically because it was labelled as factory unlocked.
Before I bought, I checked the IMEI on both T-Mobile and Verizon and it was compatible with both.
:-/ Oh well.. OxygenOS ain't too bad. I have all Google stuff turned off and have been monitoring the DNS requests from the phone. Not too many.

If it was really listed as unlocked, maybe the phone is reading as IN2019 because you put a verizon SIM in it?
I would try to unlock your bootloader under the pretense its an unlocked global model just to try, worst that happens is it doesn't work.

Factory unlocked refers to Sim unlock status. What it means in your case is a Verizon branded phone that is not locked to Verizon. In other words, you can use in on GSM carriers. But Verizon branding means you can't unlock bootloader.
But there is still hope for you that there will soon be a modified MSM tool like for Oneplus 8T that could bypass original device version check, then it will be able to convert your phone to global. That, in turn, would enable you to unlock bootloader.

You can actually unlock your verizon bootloader, although its a complete pain. I just did it, and so far its worked for me, although I cant find any roms that work with the special verizon variant. Since the Verizon one uses a custom modem for the 5g a normal rom wont flash. There's a guide on XDA somewhere, but I dont have the link for it right now. If I find it i'll edit this post or reply to it with it.
