Can we re-brand Honor 6X to Honor 7X
Don't think so. SoC is different (Kirin 655 for 6X - Kirin 659 for 7X), motherboard is different... You can rebrand to another region, but not to another phone model. If it's based on same processor architecture, like P9 Lite for example, you can switch easily... But this is not the case.

what are the differences between them? the price difference is large....
Ill list the most spread models as I haven't found any L01 nor L11 during my search for the best version to buy.
L04 single sim 16 gb
L02 dual sim 16 gb
L12 dual sim 32 gb
The best is the L12 and the price difference is about $100

I think the question was the difference between an Honor 6 and Honor 4x - or 6x.
If so, the models are clearly explained on the HiHonor web pages, but essentially the Honor 6 is a top end device. The Honor 6x is similar but has a larger screen and dual camera's as well as a faster GPU.
guys please suggest me which one to buy honor 6x or redmi note 4 snapdragon version or any other, i m heavily confused, i know honor 6x has better camera then redmi note 4 , i m mainly concerned about android development, will HiSilicon Kirin 655 will also as development friendly as snapdragon, and which is better in performance aspects HiSilicon Kirin 655 or snapdragon 625... if there are any other suggestions please let me know.
Definitely the honor 6x much better choice
For development, you have to buy a SD...
Maybe in another 2-3 years, HUAWEI will pick up the pace...
May be SD have better development but with Honor 6X you may not be looking at the custom ROM because with EMUI 5.0, it's definitely worth trying as customization options are their and noticable improvement in performances.
We have always seen Huawei gets priority in terms of latest technology like Leica lenses. This time its Honor brand gets AI on Board. Are we planning to merge both? Do we see Lieca coming to Honor?
Huawei Mate 10 and Mate 10 Pro both have AI, too.
Leica branding costs money and Honor is supposed to be a cheaper option to Huawei. If they gave Honor Leica it'd basically be Huawei.

Honor View10 is also not a cheaper version just like Huawei targets high end market.
Hello mates,
Can you tell me which one is better or which one do you prefer more - Honor 9 EMUI 5.1 or Xiaomi Mi6 MIUI 8.0?
And which one is better Honor or Xiaomi considering stock ROM updates and custom ROMs?
Mi6 is much better in terms of custom roms and development. And games prove to be running smoother on Mi 6 currently. However since huawei is going to add GPU Turbo on Honor 9 so it remains to be seen later...And personally I do think Honor 9 is prettier than Mi 6
Yes, I agree with you Mi6 has much more powerful chipset Snapdragon 835 than Kirin 960, but Honor 9 looks prettier than Mi6 and somehow better build quality.
But what about camera quality and which is better running EMUI or MIUI?
Honor comes with EMUI 5.1, but as I've seen it should be upgraded to EMUI 8.1 with OREO 8.1 in near future.

Currently it is EMUI 8.0 and I don't know whether there will be 8.1.
I think MIUI is better in many aspects (more themes, more interesting functions, etc.)But it depends on your own taste. And Xiaomi has a better reputation in bug fixing and software update (while Huawei don't).Many users hate the low update speed.
About camara, some of my friends complain about Mi 6's poor photos.I am fully satisfied with Honor 9 camara. Its quality is great!
And to say about one of the heating topics,Project Treble, honor 9 bootloops on some treble roms. Also it is known that Huawei phones brick easily. So If you are a flash addict like me I do advise not purchasing Honor 9.(I must be dreaming for I didn't look through the development section before buying)
Hi all,
I currently have a Honor 8 (very old, I know). I was just wondering how much of an upgrade performance-wise (if any) there'd be from my Honor 8 to One Zoom.
My Honor 8 has a HiSilicon Kirin 950 (16nm), the One Zoom a Snapdragon 675 (11nm)... GPU is a Mali-T880 MP4 to the One Zoom's Adreno 612 .... But I honestly don't know either equivalent.
Any help is appreciated
