That is the only explanation, which I can come up with for now...
I can't get into Samsung pay now on my rooted Nexus 6 and it tells me it is because my device is rooted. Any workarounds? I know it used to work with my phone before while rooted....

Here's how software development works: It is possible even at the moment. The problem is that nobody has done so for this particular phone yet and posted online about it.
I'm guessing it can be as simple as replacing the bootanimation.zip or something cleaner like a magisk module.
The absence of topics in this forum makes it seem as if there isn't any modding available, but there are a couple that work for this model?

Yeah I know.CarHDMod and Soldiers mod is compatible but not posted here.BeyondRom and Project Pixel with stock S10e vendor and libs in system should work.
