Use the adoptable storage patch. Samsung do not natively support adoptable storage.

So i own a Galaxy S3 with 16 GB internal storage and 64 GB external SD Card. The files i receive via Wifi Direct gets stored in the internal storage by default.
Can this be changed somehow to external SD Card ? :fingers-crossed:
And External SD Card to Internal Storage swapping using scripts is not the answer to my question.

You might try Root External 2 Internal SD. Download it from PlayStore. I don't know whether it works for your device or not. Check it yourself.
Owning solely nexus phones, I haven't had an sd card since the nexus one, so this means absolutely nothing to me, but reports state the s7 isn't using googles adoptable storage function.
Would I still be able to apps on the sd card? Or only on internal storage?
Can I save Titaniumbackups and twrp/cwm backups on my sd card?

It means you can't use the external storage as internal. Adoptable storage is meant mainly for Android One devices that have limited internal storage.
That means you will only be able to use your SD card as portable but not as internal. For instance my moto g 3 gen can do both as portable and internal. While on Lollipop I was able to move apps to portable but on MM it only allows to do so when SD is formated as internal.
So I have a LG V10 and am considering the S7 Edge. The V10 also has an ext SD card but I cannot get TBu to save to the ext SD card no matter what. It says there's not enough memory available. It seems to be the ext SD card stays read only even though it's set to r/w. Does that mean I'd have the same problem with the S7 Edge since the S Edge doesn't support adaptable storage?

Is adaptable storeage removed from the OS or is it just disabled. In other words can rooting fix this issue?
https://www.google.com/amp/bgr.com/2016/03/11/galaxy-s7-edge-tips-microsd-adoptable-storage/amp/# try this no root required.

When I check the storage options, it shows System Storage, Memory Card, and External Storage. I have a 16 GB micro SD and I want to move my apps and app data to my SD card but can't figure out the difference between Memory Card and External Storage.
Does anyone know what the two types of storage mean? Which one is my actual SD Card?
Thanks!

I don't have tmobile, but I'm going to answer and any tmobiles out there can correct me if I'm wrong. External is actually your phone's left over internal ram and memory card is your sd card.

I'd wager that System Storage is the /system partition. Memory Card would be internal storage, and External Storage is your removable sdcard.
Also, you should move your apps to your sdcard in Settings > Storage & USB or setup adoptable storage.
Hi,
I am searching a way to make my 64GB micro sd Card add up to my 8GB Internal Storage. So that i can do everything on one Storage and not have to use app2sd or etc.
My stats:
Galaxy Tab E SM-T560
Dot Os with Android 7.1.2
Rooted with Magisk
Verbratim microSD 64Gb
XPosed installed.
I do not want the in built Android way because then it is still two sepperate storages.
What can i do?
Best Thanks
Rydeg
IMO you have to use Android's built-in Adoptable storage feature if it's supported

Why do I have to isnĀ“t there a workaround to force the sdcard to add up the internal storge because for example if i move apps to the sdcard the xposed moduls do not work.
I would like to have one 64+8=72GB storage in which everything works.
If you tell Android to use external SD-card as Adoptable storage then the amount of GBs you define becomes an extension to phone's internal storage memory. So what's your problem?

I tried it but then I have to move all the apps to external storage and when i move them the icons on the homescreen dissapear on boot. And if I move Xposed the modules I dowloaded do not work anymore they only work in the system storage.
And in the settings it shows as 2 different Storages
And I want that it shows as one internal storage is that possible?
