Hello guys,
Bought this phone second hand, but it seems that it has T-mobile Firmware installed on it (can see T-mobile logo at boot).
Question is,my phone should be unlocked because of model number (G930F), can I write with odin the unlocked version of Oreo 8.0 UK.BTU firmware downloaded from Sammobile ?
I have to mention that I'm using Telekom sim card, but the phone works with orange sim and vodafone sim too.
Thanks a lot guys !

Hey guys,
I have a G920F locked to all of Europe, if I flash an Australian ROM (where I'm from), will it remove the region lock and let me use Australian sim cards?
Same here
I've got the same problem / question for my European bought s6 edge g925f. I'm very tempted to flash to the Australian rom.
2 days ago I got in touch with Samsung Germany and got very quick replies. After giving them the imei number they said unlocking should not be a problem and they will get back to me with the unlock code "within a few days". I'll wait to give that a try first.
Did you try flashing the Australian rom yet?
Hi. My question is simple and i'm sorry if was asked previously : I have an S6 model G920F locked on Orange România carrier. If I flash latest (nocarrier) official ROM through Odin, phone will be unlocked or still remain locked?. Thank you!
Hello there XDA Members,
I have a massive problem and I hope someone in this forum is able to help me, I have an S6 Edge SM-G925F, I recently broke my phone and sent it to repair they repaired it and installed firmware that is non EE therefore I lost my WiFi Calling feature, I was like okay let me just flash the EE firmware unfortunately due to the bootloader they installed being newer then the one from the EE firmware it wont let me install (SW B: 2 K: 4 S: 4) this means that the firmware I am trying to install is older and samsung bootloader wont let me, now I want to know if there is a way I can:
1) Downgrade Bootloader or get it to accept this firmware
2)Have EE WiFI calling another way
3)Install EE WiFi calling onto the phone somehow
My phone is on version 6.0.1

I would say look for a ee firmware that doesn't include the Bootloader. That way the firmware should load, most mm firmwares will run as long as you have a mm bootloader.

So I've bought a second hand galaxy s7. It is a Canadian model SM-G930W8 . I live in Greece and have to use a greek sim card , the phone recognizes the sim card , but in the info it says unknown. Prior to an update I made it worked fine , but after the software update I am unable to get network reception . Anybody happens to know a way to fix the problem ? Will flashing a greek firmware solve the issue ?
You can try flashing just the home_csc, which contains carrier and frequency settings, from the Greek firmware onto your G930W8, but I'm not sure how different the 930W8 is to the 930F so you might risk a bootloop and have to flash stock. So make sure you've got what you want backed up.
What was the source of the update? Phone shows the correct IMEI?
I believe the 930w8 is exclusive to Canada.

Somehow the update messed it up? Is it a stock update from Canada? I have a Canadian s7 from bell on 7.0
I updated the phone from samsung smart switch , the phone was probably modded beforehand to run greek sim cards, and the seller never mentioned this. And with the update the mod was most likely wiped or something.

Try a different stock from sammobile or a Greek rom. But there shouldn't be that issue. Mine works in London with no problems.
I asked about the imei to ensure that the phone is showing the correct imei.
The model number has been confirmed in download mode?
Yeah I went in download mode and it is the one I have stated above , same model number on the back of the phone , I will check the imei when I get a hold of the phone , because a friend has it right now. Will try to flash greek firmware. And report back.
I booted into recovery and what is said there
-- applying multi-csc...
Applied the csc-code : TLS
successfuly applied multi-csc
That means that the phone is using the Canadian Telus Home.csc (I guess) .
So would flashing the home.csc from the Greek firmware work ? Does it have a chance to hard brick the phone ?
I have an unlocked phone on Marshmallow.
Will it become locked again if I upgrade it to Nougat using Odin and the official firmware?

Model SM-N920T
i flashed this latest firmware below via odin v3.12
https://androidfilehost.com/?fid=1322778262903991333
Thank you for the firmware source.
Just to clarify, you flashed only that AP, no additional modem or bootloader files?
In addition, is T-mobile a cell phone provider also in Arab emirates? I did some search in internet and it seems the answer is no.
Would it be possible somehow to compare if your phone and mine have been unlocked the same way?
Thank you for any additional help

No my service provider is Etisalat not Tmobile but i bought this phone on Craigslist and it was locked on Tmobile network so the owner sold me very very cheap he didn't know how to unlock it.
I bought it in 140$ and and it's brand new condition almost untouched.
i used a software in windows pc called "Z3X samsung tool pro v29.2" a cracked version to be honest to unlock this phone permanently.
After that i flashed nougat via odin just in AP tab and still unlocked.
I did not flash modem or bootloader separately because this firmware comes in full package Bootloader+Modem+CSC+System all you have to do is use AP tab and upload firmware then flash it.but remember you have to do factory reset from stock recovery immediately after flashing successfully otherwise it can get bootloop
Even though i try Tmobile sim unlock app that comes pre installed but it didn't worked cuz i don't have Tmobile sim card.
I am not sure your phone situation to be honest but since its UNLOCKED already so give it a nougat shot.
