prolly never, also samsung dont release dates of fireware releases so no one knows if they even are working on it at all which is a something people hate about samsung, that and they wait 6 years to update any firmware
it is release today (September 18, 2014)
I just got the kitkat update today on my galaxy tab 3 7.0 wifi (SM-T10R). Looks like samsung actually didn't discard the tab 3...
Actually the Sm-T210 and the R model have both been updated to KitKat offically, the R model being in Canada and the T210 being in Italy and India.

I got the update this weekend, and now I can't access my SD card... Thanks Kitkat. I guess I need to root my device now.

Right, and btw there's a root currently for 5.1.1 Sprint S6 but not EDGE. Someone made a kernel with root built in but it's currently only for the edge, and it trips knox.
Dude already has a kernel compiled for edge he's just waiting for the 5.1.1 edge stock kernel?... lemme find the link.
edit: here it is: "Needs it's own kernel...I'm waiting for a 5.1.1 stock 925P kernel...I have the kernel compiled already..."

Hi. I've just bought a Samsung Galaxy S6 AT&T version (GT-920A) and having trouble to instal OFFICIAL Firmware from Sammobile which upgrades to 6.0.1 Marshmallow.
Is it really possible that we can't install SM-G920F ROMS on the version of my phone ? please, help me. Is someone have an issue for install another Official ROM than the AT&T one ? Please.

Hello,
There is no Marshmallow firmware available for S6 AT&T.
We dont recommend flashing any other devices roms into another ones.

Before flash the Firmware zip, things to do:-
1. Charge your battery up to 40%.
2. Must enable the Developer mode( to enable developer mode go to setting->about device->software info-> now click the "Build number" 10 times. Then you get a flash message "Developer mode enable".
3. Now you see a "Developer options" in Setting. Do this
(a) Go to Developer options, "ON" the developer mode if not "ON"(show in the top of the Developer option).
(b) ON the option "OEM unlock"
(c) ON the option "USB debugging"
Now install the Samsung USB device driver in your PC and restart the PC.
Download USB Driver
Instructions
Step 1. Extract (unzip) the firmware file
Step 2. Download Odin v3.11.1 (file given below)
Step 3. Extract Odin ZIP file and install it in PC
Step 4. Open Odin v3.11.1
Step 5. Reboot Phone in Download Mode (press and hold Home + Power + Volume Down buttons)
Step 6. Connect phone and wait until you get a blue sign in Odin
Step 7. Add the firmware file to AP / PDA
Step 8. Make sure re-partition is NOT ticked
Step 9. Click the start button, sit back and wait few minutes

Note:- Please note that there are two separate roms of Android 6.0.1, one is of Galaxy On5 and other is of Galaxy On5 Pro so download carefully. But you can also use the firmware(rom) of Galaxy On5 Pro in Galaxy On5 and it will run without any trouble or bugs, only Theme Store isn't works if you use On5 Pro's firmware in On5

It shows Samsung Galaxy On5 when you ON your device but in the "About Software" option you will see Galaxy On5 Pro.

No I found official stock firmware and it shows Galaxy on5 only in About Phone
But only Indian variant

Both are stock firmwares. If you flash the firmware 5.1.1 in On5 then it shows Galaxy On5 (in About Phone option) and if you flash firmware 6.0.1 in On5 then it shows Galaxy On5 Pro (in About Phone option).
And if you are using Galaxy On5 Pro then it definitely shows Galaxy On5 Pro in About Phone.
One thing I also have to mention that you can rename the Device name, just name the Device name option in About Phone.

I have already flashed it doesn't matter now, I'm using on5
I flashed July patched 6.0.1 and received August patch update
Based on the filename, this is the Indian ROM... right?

It's bug in the rom and it will fix in next update (error is billing)

rather not have samsung stock nougat update , if you want it , try to flash a custom rom
