Help
Have some people help me finish the sample jod?
I don't understand half of what you are saying, so i'll just answer the title:
1) Install XperiFIRM and FlashTool
2) Start flashtool
3) Click on the "XF" XperiFIRM logo button beneath the menu bar
4) XperiFIRM now starts. Go to your device, select the customization and firmware you want, click on the "Available firmware" version on the right side and download
5) After the download is complete FlashTool click "close" and then close XperiFIRM
6) Flashtool now says "Please wait until the end of the process"
7) The FTF file should now be in C:\Users\*your username*\.flashTool\firmwares

Click to expand...
Click to collapse
when you extracted the files there should be a zip file by this name 'image-hammerhead-kot49h.zip'.
Check whether u have that file in the folder or not and if not re download the factory image.
And should look like this

Thanks all, I figured it out.
How do you download from dev-host?
Every time I try to download a file I either get a page refresh, or it downloads a file different from the size it should be.
Attached below are the steps I take to download. And the resulting incorrect file.
Step 1) Click "download", "download now" button does not work.

"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
Step 2) Get redirected.
Step 3) Click download again. (this is normally a virus if you have to click download twice)
Step 4) Get downloaded file that is not the file described on page from step 1.
I found this file from a how to install guide on XDA, from a certified XDA person.

Edit:
I am on a Mac using Safari. I created a VM and used firefox and that worked just fine with the "Download Now" button.
Hye guys. I installed Flashtool software (v 0.9.19.10) from the Flashtool website since i would like to downgrade my current android build version to enable rooting for my Xperia Z3. I tried to follow all the steps mentioned on http://forum.xda-developers.com/xperia-z/general/tutorial-how-to-flash-stock-roms-t2240614 but sadly I CANNOT SEE ANY FIRMWARE FOLDER created after installation. I don't think i have to create a new folder name "firmwares " since the software should automatically created it for me. So if someone has a solution to this matter kindly please assist me on the correct steps involved. I tries to install more than 6 times already but still no firmware folder created. Here i attached my flashtool folder right after installation finished
Thank You XDA:good:

You do not need a firmware folder. Just put the FTF wherever you want and then browse to it when you are selecting the FTF

Well, you can......!!!!!
Download the firmware from Sam Mobile
The download will be in .zip format.
Extract it and you will find a .md5 file.
Install Odin.
Backup your phone's data.
Run Odin as Administrator.
Unlock bootloader and reboot to download mode
In odin, click on AP and select .md5 file.
It will take time to verify firmware file.
Then, click start.
After some time, it will reboot normally to indian firmware.
Complete setup
Enjoy

Bro what the heck it is?This is some sort of "software" that adds 3 options to your context menu for apk, zip and img files, that allows you to easily install apk, sideload zip, or flash recovery.
I made it in 20 minutes so it can have some bugs, if you found any bug in this easy to make software, post a comment.
FeaturesSmall - 5.9MB
Fast - installation takes max 15 seconds.
AIO - ADB and Fastboot is included in the package.
Installation
Run the program
Select install or uninstall
Accept registry injection
Done!
NotesIf for some reason you want to extract the reg file, start program (DO NOT TURN OFF), go to %temp% and find the reg
And that's all bruh
In zip is only a exe
