Not had any heat issues but it's also winter and haven't tried driving down the interstate with the phone in a window mount yet.
I saw complaints about the non-existing cooling system but actually I can't see the need of this because even with heavy usage the device is still not warmer than my hand.
The Phone Build is clean so heat issue till now.
Oneplus 6T is a beast never heats.
I'll say heat not worry me at all. In games (Dead trigger, asphalt) it's not noticable as on my HTC 10. So most the time phone is cool or" comfy warm"

Any device will get toasty under extreme conditions.
I really don't see the point of this thread as the OP6T has no overheating issues.

I experienced little sluggish when i played call of duty mobile in maxed out graphics. I feel like is due to CPU thermal throttling because my op6t was hot AF, it was as hot as a frying pan.

My phone started heating after installing August security update. I had to flash the official firmware to uninstall this update. Now it's not heating up that much.

It usually stays cool under heavy loads and currently oos update fixed a lot of bugs
