Why not ? On the note 2 a kernel is on the work for port oreo and the s2 have oreo so why not the tab2?

Its already confirmed that 8.1 is on the way.
Next, Google gonna make anything that starts with "P", most likely "9.0".. Just a guess

Beta update only available for Tester.
Apply become a tester using IMEI, if your IMEI selected you will get the beta update.
I'm still waiting for an A1 delivery, so I can't test...
Could interested beta testers ask for Galileo satellites support? I think it's worth it.

Somebody, please check if there "OK google" voice answering fixed. I mean in Google now, not in assistant. There was a problem in nougat for mi a1 and answers was text only even if voice answering enabled

I think they will not be releasing Oreo anytime soon.
Probably don't have enough testers with them, so they have called for testers.
Basing on the feedback received, I think they will make necessary corrections and release the final 8.0

Well, they did say that we're getting Oreo till the end of the year.

I don't think you can downgrade to Nougat because OnePlus 6 was Oreo in-box (idk actual word).
If via Treble, idk because Treble suppose works starting on Oreo to latest. ?

It just doesn't make sense to have it. Use android emulator for testing an app if that's the case.
If there are zer0 users with Oreo with OP6 what's the point of testing?

It's not about op6. It's the only available device to root and mess with. But the app we are testing is crashing in nougat.
