So i was mowing through some visual novels as usual, my phone was charging (original adapter and cable), nothing special. Then i heard a small pop around the charging port, my screen turned black, the LED kept flashing (red), some grey blocky things showed at the bottom and a blue stripe in the middle. then i immediatly took it out of my charger, waited around 5 minutes and tried again. Now this same screen with the stripes and the LED flashing popped up again and my phone shut down after 3 seconds. waited another 5 minutes, same thing happened.
Any help is greatly appreciated!
Edit: Now my phone turns on but as soon as i get to the lockscreen, my phone turns black again, LED flashes again, the grey things are now stripes and the blue stripe dissapeared.

So today am going about my normal business when suddenly I feel a vibrate from my phone, open up my snazzy leather flip case and my phone is turning on its at the white screen displaying HTC in green letters, I thought that was a bit wierd so put my phone away, then about 20-30 seconds later another vibrate and lo and behold its turning on again, are you bored yet!! lol
Eventually when I got back to my car after about 20+ re-boots I removed the battery then put it back in, hmm same thing!!
Came home plugged phone into wall socket on came the orange light, pressed power on button and nothing!! pressing the power button 100 times now absolutely nothing
GGGGGGRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!!
I have noticed though that the orange light goes off for a few seconds then comes back on, 20-30 seconds later it goes off again then comes on probably the same time frame as the re-booting but minus the white screen displaying HTC
Has anyone had this on any HTC device?

Pull battery and then put it back in and then plug in the charger but don't try to turn on the phone. After a while it should start to charge.
If its only 6 days old cant you get it swapped for a new one?

My first one died after about 6 days. I'd had 1 spontaneous reboot and a couple of other flaky issues, then one morning it beeped and turned off. For a half hour or so it would partially boot then just hang. Then it just died completely. I swapped out the battery and plugged it in, but nothing.
Contacted TMO and I've had the replacement for about 5 days. So far it's fine (that sound is me knocking on wood).

a few days ago I accidentally dropped an HTC One E8 in water and obviously it doesn't work anymore. Before buying a new one I wanted to ask, if some of our "HTC experts" may have suggestions on what else I could try before giving up.
The situation: I dropped it in water, didn't turn it off (dumb, I know) and it worked for around 10 minutes until it powered off. I left it in rice for a day and it didn't turn on or charge. At this point I nearly gave up.
I left it for in rice (about 48 hours) and - the orange led was flashing while charging. Even the screen turned on and it showed a charging symbol first and after a few seconds it showed a red circle and a white exclamation mark. After some time I could power it on and the touchscreen worked and I could use it, but it still was around 1%/0%. The screen flickered, but it was usable. I wanted to plug it in my computer then to rescue some data, but 5 seconds after I took it off power (to switch from the wall charger to my PC) it died.
Now I tried it to power it on for like 2 days, but with no charger connected nothing happens and when I connect the charger, the orange led is on constantly. I tried power/volume- and power/volume+, but nothing happens. Not even the charging indicator comes up, the screen is completely dead.
Are there any steps to try before giving up? By the way I don't want to disassemble it

Hello, so yesterday I Got my S6 White
So the issue is Black display with blinking BLUE LED, and when put on charge I wait a few moments and it turns to solid red no battery icon nor nothing
Phone has never been opened until now I disconnected the batery and connected it back again still no luck, also with display did the same Thing no luck.
Computer recognizes My Phone sometimes.
Please can someone help me. Is it the battery? Do I need to charge it with 1.45mA generator?
So a relative of mine brought me an S6 with a cracked screen. It belongs to his 15 year old daughter. He told me that she dropped it and the phone is now stuck on a black screen. When I put the phone to charge it didn't respond in any way at first. After leaving it like that for 2 hours I tried to boot it up. Only response I got was a flickering blue - light blue led light. So I searched on the net and found a couple of people fixing this problem by holding the power button with the volume down button which performs a simulated battery disconnect, unfortunately absolutely nothing happened. The phone continued to flicker the blue - light blue light. The screen is probably dead as no matter what I try it is also black. I tried entering recovery mode, nothing changed (flickering blue light), than I tried entering download mode and the flickering blue light changed to a constant red light which after a while changed to green, I am guessing the phone was charging now (screen still black). So I downloaded ODIN to see if the PC will recognize the phone and oddly enough when I connected the USB it did recognize it. So what I'm thinking is that the screen is probably dead as no matter what I do it is always black, but I am not sure what else is wrong with it... Is another hardware peace broken from the fall or did the system just got messed up is that even possible from a fall? If just the screen is dead shouldn't the phone just boot up normally and have sound, like being able to ring and stuff ... Any advice/ opinion will be greatly appreciated.
I just bought a Galaxy S8 online, no apparent damage or even scratches, but it arrived with 0% battery and connecting it to a charger, at first, brought up the charging "ring" with lightning bolt, but no numbers or other indications that it's charging. After about 15-20 seconds it would go black, then back to the same screen. I tried to do a hard reset but that just made it bring up the first boot screen that says "Galaxy" in the middle and "powered by Android" below. This screen is now flashing on for half a second, going black and repeating about a 2-second loop. It also vibrates each time. I think there's supposed to be an LED indicating it's charging, but if so, mine's not coming on
IS it BRIKED i got it from a kid that said it was dead

so my s8 + blinks when unplugged and does not turn red to indicate charging when plugged in.only lighting bolt with full ring is this fixable
