My device is pra-la1c185 and I use elite 7.7 for now ( thanks to hassanmirza )

i have flashed elemental. its working but there are some issues..
1)i cant enroll fingerprint. the option enroll finger close itself..
2)when open camera the camera app hangs. i just have to kill the app with back button

i have flashed your custom recovery. then in custom recovery i have wipe Dalvic /Art Cache,Cache,Data,Internal Storage,System then flashed elemental rom. then elemental Data zip after that
wipe cache/ dalvic... restarted my phone to fastboot. flashed ramdisk & kernel that you provided & stock recovery ramdisk of PRA-LX1C432B322.. then restarted to recovery did factory reset & cache too.. restart normaly to rom.
now i have another issue the fingerprint and face unlock not working

to do this, use RECOVERY_NOCHECK (oeminfo C432) update.zip-update_data_full and update_data_public EMUI 8.0.0
once you have updated
you can install elemental rom

Download the latest build of ColorOS ROM and Gapps for ColorOS (link provided) Reboot to TWRP Recovery
Wipe data, system, cache and dalvik cache from advanced wipe menu
Flash ColorOS ROM + Any lolipop 5.1.1 kernel
Flash Gapps for ColorOS (flash Gapps also after first boot)
Reboot (first boot may take up to 15 to 20 mins.)
After boot, complete ColorOS 3.0 setup and enjoy or do the following!
NOTE: If you want to enjoy the full Englishized version of the ROM the you have to edit the build.prop as directed: change persist.sys.oppo.region=CN to persist.sys.oppo.region=US (you can use build.prop editor app provided in the ROM for the purpose). 1.) What to do if My Phone got bootloop or not booting ??
You have changed vendor, or modified vendor(not stock), OpenKirin vendor will never ever work,, so get Pure stock vendor of your device... it will work for sure... if still not, change you data filesystem...
2.) What to do if my SIMs are not working ??
Go to Extras, disable dual sim, reboot phone,, now read carefully,,
1. Install hex editor app from playstore
2. Make sure you have file explorer with root privileges
3. Open hex editor and find modem,id file on this location root/sys/firmware/devicetree/base/hisi,modem_id and open it.
4. Write down all numbers in first row
5. Then go to root/system/vendor and find phone.prop and open it with text editor.
6. Find your modem id by using search and type 0x3xxxxxx where X is your number from hex reader
7. Then make it look like this:

I'm unable to get root with this ROM. I flash the super su apk given in the root process for the honor 6x in a different post. But I'm not getting prompts for root access :c

You should flash this ROM over a EMUI where the capacitive keys are already working !
This ROM do not affect the capacitive keys in any way ( didn't enable them and also didn't break them if previously they working )
Previously I was on Chinese Oreo FW B321, where the capacitive keys are already working well
I confirm, use chinese B321 update, not the crappy european B360a.
I'll give a try today with this ROM, thanks surdu_petru!
Installed successfully, this ROM is fast. Could you give instructions on how to install TWRP to then install Magisk? Did you test it?

You can try but I don't think that it'll working because data from Oreo 8.0 it's not compatible with data from Oreo 8.1 ... and for this you need to perform a data/factory reset !
So far everything is working well. I just noticed that Google Duo keeps crashing, but I can't find the app in the Play Store, I think it's been replaced by Google Allo since Oreo.

Read the first post. To get root you have to flash TWRP then flash Magisk.
BTW that ROM boots damn fast!
One issue: at random time the speaker starts to emit a sound, like some FM noise. If I use the volume switch it shows multimedia volume so it knows that a sound is emitted but the volume cannot be set. Only way to stop the noise: restart the phone.

can i flash this on a RROS 7.1??
First of all I really wanna thank you so much for this great Rom and all your effort you put into it!
Overall everything is working fine for me but the minor issues of the AOSP Rom (8.0) are remaining on this Rom:
- Homescreen laggs
- Slow homebutton
- Bit slow screen on time when unlocking
While the last issue is really minor and it doesn't bother me, the other two can be kinda annoying. Both of them didn't occur on RROS 5.8.5 - well, homebutton didn't work at all there but to be honest I would even be happier with a disabled homebutton compared to this slow gesture thing. As of now I can't disable the homebutton in RROS settings and I'm not sure if the next problem is part of that issue but why does this Rom go back to homescreen when double tapping Back when double tap is disabled? I feel like the Honor 9's homebutton is quite hard to support?
And referring to everyone's questions: No, you have to use Stock Recovery and you have to flash this on top of an Oreo Rom (either EMUI 8.0 or AOSP 8.0).
Another problem which doesn't directly have to do with the Rom: I seem not to be able to get TWRP working here. If I boot to it it gets stuck on the TWRP screen. Anyone found a solution there?

I was able to get TWRP working now and succesfully flashed Magisk.

only huawei can provide real treble support since we are bound to the nougat prebuilts from emui5 at the moment. Once official oreo drops, you will get treble support

Yes, you're right ... data must be formated on twrp ... and it doesn't matter in which version you are, as long as is Android N

That usually happens when you have one or more fingerprints registered when flashing the ROM. Go back to stock, remove all fingerprints, then flash the ROM again. (You can avoid this in the future by removing your fingerprints before flashing.)

Thanks for the ROM, I salute you all for your hard work. I just install LOS on my nova 2i and I have no major issue, very smooth and fast. But I have minor issue such as delay on fingerprint unlock and sometimes app force closing.

Resurrection Remix OS Beta 2 is one of my favorite rom, it is stable and you can also use substratum to modify it, also a lot of customization and very smooth. for the camera i have use oneplus camera port for my mate 10 lite. here are some of the screenshots. for the themes like android p i used [substratum] vacuum: P

afaik, gpu turbu is the underlying vendor implementation, not really something to do with system aslong as you have a gpu turbo base update running on your device.

stock camera wont save the picture, emui camera you cant use some of the functions, for now im using oneplus camera port u can see it on page 1 i posted it.
Installed from stock L01C432CUSTC432D1B304-RNE (8.0.0.304) with magisk installed at the time of installing it. Apart from the camera problem the previous poster mentioned, I don't have any problems with the ROM, at least currently. I also didn't have to do anything like installing twrp or patching boot image just to install Magisk again as I only installed the Magisk Manager and it was done. It's so good to finally have RR back, yay!
in RROS B2, if u activate unlock with fingerprint after reboot without PIN,
when reboot the phone, u get a principal screen that says " starting android" in a loop and dont show any app o launcher, but config, and status bar work.
if you use the pin, the phone start normal.
CAMERA Huawei : save the pictures if dont use any functions like " boke or aperture" ( idk why,in morfuz3.6 the camera port of p20 work fully. maybe check that rom.)
camera aosp : does not save any saving any picture jeje.
the rom is very smoth and stable, maybe i use for long time.

aosp camera: untick/retick storage permission in app permission settings. Known issue because we're shipping 2 camera apps by default.
