SurfaceRT8_0RecoveryEN-US.img as the name implies is for a surface RT not a pro

Lineage os 14.1 is available for honor 8. honor 8 and mate 8 has same board (Kirin 950).Why it can't be port to mate 8??

Lol its a kirk 950 all same. I ported it , I just don't have time to deal with xda ridicule. I already introduced California kenneth sound , lalsinvip b369 , lalsin tools , and was fourth on cm14 I ported from the h8. No respect in this xda forum , except a few

Bro, it's time to end this, no update and no security patch and nothing also, Huawei closed the website for unlock bootloader, so we can't unlock the Huawei & Honor Devices no more, the good solution is xiaomi devices, my recommand is pocohone f1 and redime note 5 these devices are the best of the best.

I don't see how MIUI has anything to with Huawei or any features they made. So what's the logic behind that?
But to somewhat answer you question, their webpage about that feature says this: "...make sure that your phone is running EMUI 9.1 or later, or Magic UI 2.1 or later."
So I think you can't.
