Hi all,
I've git here a Huawei Mate 9 DEMO model, but i want to remove this firmware. Can some tell me how to work?
Model number: MHA-L29C652B109 (Dual SIM, with 2 IMEI numbers, so it's a normal smartphone?)
I have download some firmware versions, but the phone give me a error to install the UPDATE.APP file.

Nobody?
Have you tried reading the forum. Literally one thread with the only way to flash firmware.
100 other threads like this one pointed in the same direction.

I think you have to flash a full firmware. Are you shure you have IMEI's?
BTW. Samsung notes demo phones with an X . Those phones does not have imei and phisically the antenna cable is absent. I have no ideea hiawei' s mode to treat demo but seeing the option for demo mode in developer mode I thought that they don't have special models for demo...

Oh shoot, sorry to hear that. Have you tried flashing it with FunkyHuawei?

I have helped two people who had demo models before. You need to unlock your BL and rebrand to Euro model. If you can get your Bootloader code, please send me a PM and I will help.

Try rebrand it to C636. It is free. Think, all demo models are branded to one virtual customization.
But according to samsung's experience, there might be some differences in hardware. Probably. I'm not sure. Test everything after rebranding.

Any new if it worked?
Just Uninstall Retail Service app from all apps
Go to settings and all apps and scroll until you find "Retail" from the app list and uninstall it.
it worked for me on Huawei mate 9.

For demo version will not work.
Only solution what i find is to shut down the demo app.
You must click 2 times retail demo icon then will be ask for password 1122334455 from there you can shut down demo.
On that moment its not possible to remove retail app without root or rebranding change C432 (european) because is system app.
On that moment i find only way to unlock bootloader by fastboot. Unlock key you can get by dc unlocker.
Unfortunetly on that moment i cant flash any another software to that demo model and is no luck to root device or rebrand.
UPDATE:
Is lucky to flash recovery file with finded twrp (for nugat version) and not yet confirmed root.
On that moment i playing with 2 oem info files to make rebrand of device copied by twrp file manager on external sd card
/dev/block/platform/ff3b0000.ufs/by-name/oeminfo
/data/custom.bin

UPDATE:
Device is succesfully rebranded and flashed with orginal eu rom.
Hi.
My phone specs are as follows.
Model MT7-TL10
4.4.2 KITKAT
Build No MT7-TL10V100R001C00B130
Custom Version CUSTC470D130
Country name spcseas
After reading alot of threads here I believe my phone is Malaysian? (I live in New Zealand).
I want to upgrade the Android to a newer version. Either lollipop or marshmallow will do.
I believe I should be able to upgrade to B324? I downloaded the Huawei upgrade pack MT7-TL10C900B324.
In the Huawei document they say that this upgrade is for Jazz-TL10V100R001C00B130. Perhaps I have the wrong upgrade pack because my build number is not "Jazz"?
Anyway. I tried the update process but about 30secs into the process an error message appeared and I had to shut the phone down. The phone started up again with no problems but I am still on Android 4.4.2. There has been no change.
Can anyone please assist me? Thank you.
I believe Jazz is the codename for MT7-L09. In my opinion you should have to download one of these:
http://consumer.huawei.com/nz/support/downloads/detail/index.htm?id=68423&key4=Mate 7 Gold(MT7-TL10)
http://consumer.huawei.com/nz/support/downloads/detail/index.htm?id=70423&key4=Mate 7 Gold(MT7-TL10)

I downloaded both links but neither of them matches my build number. The MT7-TL10C900B329 upgrade is for either Jazz-TL10V100R001C00BXXX or MT7-TL10C900BXXX. I have MT7-TL10V100R001C00B130.

Could you attach the DOC/pdf file please from this package TL10V100R001C00BXXX? When you check your build and it says MT7-TL10V100R001C00B130 I believe you just downloaded the right package: TL10V100R001C00BXXX.

Well, this is a different update (B329) then the update you tried before (B324).
Looks like this download (B329) might work on your device. You can try this one, but before you do: find a member (fazi2015?) here who can support you with recovery when you encounter a problem.
But honestly, if I had a MT7-TL10 I did try this update.

I am also waiting to hear back from Huawei customer service about which update package they recommend. I will try this B329 "Jazz" update package if I have no luck with Huawei.

Well, lets hear what Huawei says.

Great news. I have had a suggestion from Huawei, installed it and it works great.
So Huawei suggested I download the following upgrade package...
http://consumer.huawei.com/nz/support/downloads/detail/index.htm?id=70423&key4=Mate 7 Gold(MT7-TL10)
This link takes you to the Huawei website and there is a download link to obtain the Mate 7 Firmware, MT7-TL10, Android 5.5.1, EMUI 3.1, C900B329.
When I downloaded the update package and read the PDF file, I noticed that the C900B329 was intended for either the...
Jazz-TL10V100R001C00BXXX or
MT7-TL10C900BXXX
So, neither of these is exactly the same as my build number (MT7-TL10V100R001C00B130). The only difference is the word "Jazz". I still don't know what "Jazz" means but I tried the update anyway and it worked just fine.
So my phone details are now as follows...
Build number: MT7-TL10C900B329
Android 5.1.1
EMUI 3.1
Custom Version CUSTC470D001
Thanks everyone for your help!
Nice!

Hello Everyone,
I have just bought a Huawei mate 9 from AliExpress, and they didnt specify if it was Chinese or International Rom.
But upon delivery i saw some Chinese text, and when i checked the Build number, it is MHA-AL00C00B175.
Can i flash the International version (i.e the AL29) firmware on my phone so that i can eliminate all these chinese apps etc ?
Thanks in advance

Can i flash the International version (i.e the AL29) firmware on my phone so that i can eliminate all these chinese apps etc ?
Thanks in advance

I think you were misinformed, you can't just flash any models firmware over your chinese model (thats why it fails), you can only "rebrand" using the guides linked below, which requires unlock bootloader.
Flash Latest Update/Rebrand Guide: (Has lots of choices for rebranding, can go to different regional specific firmware such as USA, Europe, Asia, etc)
https://forum.xda-developers.com/mate-9/how-to/guide-mate-9-flash-update-package-t3593108
Unbrick and Rebrand Guide: (Only 2 choices, MHA-L29C636 International/Asian (comes with Play Store and no Chinese apps) or MHA-AL00 Chinese)
https://forum.xda-developers.com/mate-9/how-to/guide-rebrand-chinese-al00-mate9-to-t3554656
I'd stick with the Chinese one. It has a few more features and gets updated more often. The few Chinese programs are mostly removable as well.
You can rebrand with also OTA . I am done follow this link it perfect.
[rebrand from c636 to AL00 and rebrand from AL00 to C432.]

So i unlocked my bootloader on my Huawei Honor 8 lite, because i thought that it would be fun. After i unlocked it i installed twrp and magisk. Apparently my google apps have stopped working so i installed open gapps, apparently they didn't work either. So i tried factory reset, format data via twrp, nothing worked. After that i realised i don't even have contact list or even cell app. I tried to relock it with fastboot gave me an error saying not allowed. So here i am wondering if i could get my phone back to stock.
Ps: i'm underaged and still live with my parents and i only had this phone for about two months and there is ALOT of pressure on me right now, to tell them. So basicly i'm in the verge of a panic attack, i know childish to panic about these things.

did a big mistake bro, rooting some times broke connection to google apps , you can get connection back by simply adding hash in before ip address of hosts file in /emui using es file explorer or any root explorer .

U could try fixing this by flashing that older fimware but usually downgrading never works right. U'll probably have to take ur phone to a service center and have them fix it right up.

Maybe 4-6 days ago - I don't remember exactly.
I've had a number of updates already since getting the phone on April 10th.
153 dload firmware is available in Halabtech.
my VoLTE and VoWiFi is gone after updating to .153. Anyone else with the same issue?
My phone is also still with the 124 version installed and didn't got any update. But I checked in the firmware finder app and there are quite a few updates for international firmware. So it shouldn't depend on the country.
Anyone try to charge P30 when phone is turned off?! For me dosent work. Phone always turn on afther plug charger

I noticed that too. I charged mine for the second time (but this time off), and the thing turned on no matter what. I used to have Samsung and Sony phones and that never happened. Maybe it's a Huawei thing.
Hope a root and custom rom fix this soon!
