Samsung galaxy s7 930a lite rom? - Samsung Galaxy S7 Questions and Answers

I was curious if there is a lite ROM that has no bloatware, samsung apps (unless required) and is essentially bare / lite.
I have searched these forums and only come up with the debloat script which doesnt uninstall the apps. Yet just disables them.. Ughh.
I also have a Galaxy S8 I will be looking for a similar ROM for thatbas well.
Any help would be GREATLY appretiated. Thanks again!

I believe that root is required to uninstall some apps and root can only be achieved by flashing an engineering bootloader as the bootloader on the USA models is locked.

Sprint Galaxy S5 factory image needed

I recently purchased a Sprint S5 and rooted with towel root so that I could remove the pre-installed bloatware that shipped with the device. After I rooted, I was blocked from receiving ota updates. Does anyone know where I can find an un-modified factory image for the sprint S5? My software version is G900PVPU1ANE5 and my hardware version is G900P.04... Samsung suggests that I update thru Kies but looking over google, i found out that samsung blocks updates thru kies for rooted users. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Look at Sammobile. They have all official images.
Just remove one by one root programs you installed and will go back to official status. In my case it was Titanium that tripped it. After uninstall, restart it was back to official.
Wouldn't it have been easier for you to just look in the correct forum?
This is the Sprint S5 thread.

Need Help, At & T galaxy s6

Hello there, i just purchased a second hand At & t network unlocked galaxy s6 and want to root and install custom rom like noble rom etc in it because i am tired of At & t bloatware. so i want to know that how i can install it? is there any issues of bootloader locked etc? currently i am on lollipop 5.1.1 and software is up to date.... in odin menu it says
system status: custom
Reactivation lock: Off
knox warranty: 0 (0*0000)
I want a summarized instructions which i couldn't find anywhere else... so posted here.. urgent help is much appreciated
AFAIK, the AT&T variant (920A) has a locked bootloader and therefore you cannot install a custom recovery image (like TWRP) to traditionally install custom ROMs. You may be able to install a ROM via Flashfire once you root via Pingpong, as folks in the Xstre ROM thread have reported they could indeed install that ROM (provided you're already on MM and have the MM bootloader/radio on the phone). I actually just returned a 920A for a 920I for this exact reason.
You may also find success in the "Samsung Debloater" tool, search for that - I used this on an AT&T Note 4 about a year ago and it worked well to disable the carrier bloat.

Used S6 and have no idea how to root

I've researched multiple rooting tutorials and have found a lot of guides based on the auto-root file from www(.)autoroot.chainfire(.)eu
However, I still do not know what to do with this. From my research I found out that there is a possibility that the bootloader is locked and that is the reason I am scared, if I brick this phone I will not have a phone for another 2 years. If I flash a new clear android 7.0.0 stock for the S6 without the O2 addon bloatware with the bootloader locked it will brick my phone since this is some sort of security feature.
What I want from my S6:
- VERY good security, I will be banking on it alot, using android pay, etc so I need it to basically be hack-proof etc. Im not going to install apps like lucky patcher which are not from the play store.
- A new clean stock version of Android 7.0.0 without so many O2 apps that I cannot uninstall.
- Root access to remove certain system services and increase my battery life
I am a previous root user, 1 year ago being on my rooted S3 which I rooted using KingoRoot with one click. Now I come back year later to a new phone 3 generations down with things like the locked bootloader and KNOX. Could anyone explain what I can do at this point?
Phone specification essentials:
Name: Samsung Galaxy S6 O2/EU
Model Number: SM-G920F
Build Number: G920FXXU5EQE5
Android Version: 7.0
Knox Version: 2.7.1
The device still has a simlock, and I was told that the sim lock is installed in the ROM. So if I were to flash Im assuming the simlock would be removed however I still have a pending order for the unlock code coming in 7 days.
Try with a TWRP and a Magisk' - SuperSU it's a will be less-stable for now' (Seriously who are be use at This for now?)
Addition advantage it's a doesn't Permissives of a Magisk (Still "Enforced")

S7 g930A Rooting/TWRP

Hi guys, I've been doing some searching but haven't found any clear answers on recent threads.
I have a Samsung Galaxy S7 G930A, currently running Android 8.0, I have developer options unlocked.
I'm looking to install TWRP, update BL/Modem, install Lineage OS 15.1, update GAPPs, and root with Magisk 17.2 with the hope of debloating preinstalled apps and increasing my battery life.
I'm having trouble finding the correct versions of things for the G930A, it seems like most options are for the F/FD, I found this awesome thread for those which I assume is incompatible with my device: https://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s7/how-to/guide-onelatest-stock-fw-csc-root-t3702963
Step one is installing TWRP (right?) but on their website under S7 has options for many models, but not the 930A. Is there another option that I'm missing or am I out of luck?
Thanks!
You're out of luck, TWRP and custom ROM's are only possible on models with the Exynos SOC which is the international 930F/FD model + Canada and Korea, as they can have their bootloaders unlocked.
G930A runs on Snapdragon with a locked bootloader (thanks to US carriers), despite the developer options unlock being visible, it actually doesn't do anything on Snapdragon.

Such a feat is not possible on the snapdragon version. Yes I know, their kind of scumbags for locking the qualcomm variants and only allowing the foreign versions with their crappy exynos chipset to be unlocked. It wasn't U.S Carriers that are responsible for the device being locked. Samsung locked it themselves.
Fortunately you can still root this device however, but you just cant install custom recoverys, boot logos etc,

Debloating Verizon Galaxy Note S5 with ADB

It appears there is no way to unlock bootloader and root Verizon Galaxy Note 5 that is already updated to the latest Nougat ROM. Many say that that you can still debloat an unrooted phone with ADB. I want to try that with Verizon Galaxy S5 because it is heavily bloated. Has anyone done that? How do you get a list of all packages and what commands do you use to uninstall those packages? On rooted Android 10 phone with Magisk debloat module, commands are different, I am afraid to break Verizon Apps, but I only need one - voicemail. AFAIK, there is no way to use another voicemail client with Verizon. I also wish I could replace Samsung/Galaxy Dialer with Google stock Phone. I also wonder if it is possible to remove Samsung KNOX. It is supposed to be a security feature.
