Hi Matey, Did the same thing to my phone. all you need to do is download a nougat firmware for the S6 G920F, then boot into download mode, and flash through Odin.
Make sure youve got the samsung android drivers, and hope things go to plan!

(HELP PLEASE) Galaxy S6 died overnight and now in a boot loop

last night i went to sleep with m galaxy s6 g920f STOCK 5.1.1 had a fair amount of battery left in t. When a woke up in the morning my phone was dead i thought the battery would have been consumed . I plugged it in charged it . Now when i try to turn it on it just jo to "samsung Galxy s6" logo ,screen becomes a bit yellowish and the phone restarts same thing is happening again and again.
Now i have tried to reinstall to odin, then going into recovery factory reset cache but same results. anyone please help this phone was running stock os so... i have searchd the web but there are no ways to fix it ...
Regards
any help please !
guys i need your help please
I would suggest you download a ROM from Sammmobile that corresponds to your country and install that via ODIN and if that doesn't work try one from a different country or one tha is unknown (I.E. that doesn't belong to a any country), I softbricked my phone trying to install H3G for UK and for what ever reason it would not install. However...
I downloaded one called BTU and that worked using this app SamFirm. To get my version I installed type the Model number SM-G920F and Region BTU to download, once it has downloaded then decrypt the file by clicking the Decrypt button and unzip the decrypted file and then use ODIN to install that one. Using the SamFirm app downlaods it faster and gets the latest from Samsung as far as I am concerned. Good Luck.

The only thing I can think of is trying one from your country and trying any other one. You can use the SamFirm software to download different versions, else I think your phone is broken for some unknown reason and you will have to get it fixed under the warranty. Or install the Samsung Smart Switch from samsung and get the firmware installed that way via the Emergency Software and recovery mode, but it will wipe everything and do a factory reset. Also you will need the serial number and model number of your phone.

[Completed] Help With S6 edge+ bootloop

Just unrooted my phone using Supersu but now i'm stuck in a bootloop all i can access in twrp and odin download mode
I'm trying to install stock rom but dont know which one to download
All i know so far is that my S6edge+ is SM-G928F which i bought from Bestbuy mobile in the U.S.A my service provider is sprint
When i try looking for a stock rom for SM-G928F it says that its European unlocked which confuses me since i bought the phone from bestbuy in the US
i need help picking the right stock rom for my phone I also know my MEID number from download mode if thats relevant
Hi !
It is important to know which variant you have , if it`s an european version then you must download and flash the specific firmware.
You can check on the box if available and also when booting into bootloader

Stuck in "odin mode". Help!

Hello. I recently bought a Samsung Galaxy S7 SM-G930F, but it said the firmware was modified in an unauthorized way. It showed the model as G930FD in the firmware but it's G930F on the back of the phone. I am guessing it was rooted. Then I did a cache wipe and it said the "FRP LOCK" wouldn't let it boot up, and now I am stuck in "odin mode". It says downloading and do not turn off target. The thing is I don't know the phone's country of origin so which firmware should I get? I don't wanna brick my phone. I live in Macedonia and I am downloading the Macedonia firmware at the moment but I don't know what to do next so please help. Thank you.
Just flash firmware for your country, if that doesn't work try flashing twrp and a custom rom. I'm not sure there is a way to tell physically wether it a F or FD maybe sim card trays are different, its pretty difficult to brick phone unless there is a hardware fault. Also have you tried Smart switch to install firmware, I've never used it but it supposed to be a good last resort.

It'll still boot into download mode due to FRP lock.
OT:
Use smart switch to restore your phone. You'll probably need information like IMEI and stuff for this. Do you have the original packaging?

Confusing galaxy s6 model

I got samsung galaxy s6
The problem is that i dont understand witch rom i should flash
At the back of my phone and the odin mode says that my model is Sm g920p
But the settings and also other apps such as device info and smart switch says that my model is sm g920f
I thought the previous owner of my phone has flashed a custom rom that changed my model but the confusing part is When i boot into odin mode the Binary says SAMSUNG OFFICIAL.
Please help me
When you're booting into Download Mode, there is an option to show you a bar code, pressing the home buttom. If the meid match with the Dec numbers down behind your phone, it's an 920p.
I have a customized ROM that says OFFICIAL, and a kernel that does the same... don't pay much attention to that. If in Download Mode, it says that the model is G920P, that's the model - doesn't matter what it says anywhere else.
You shouldn't have an issue flashing a firmware. Just flash it, make sure autoreboot isn't on, and restart it into recovery mode, clear cache, system reboot and that should be all.

Probably, yeah, but it's best to go for unlocked firmwares.

Galaxy J7 2015 wipe system using ODIN ?

good evening all,
yesterday i've installed a custom ROM over a custom ROM which was installed previously on my J7 2015 phone and now my phone can' boot up, i can't see the bootlogo and can't access to the recovery mode i can only reach the download mode, i've tried to boot it in safe mode but unfortoneitly didn't work.
i am asking if there is anyway to wipe the phone system using PC (odin or something) in order to fix the system crash that caused my problem and install a stock rom properly.
thanks.

Whatever you do, DO NOT USE THE "NAND ERASE ALL" OPTION IN ODIN.
It will only damage your device. I don't even know why that option is there, I have never seen a scenario where that option has ever helped anyone. Everyone that has ever used it only ended up with a non-repairable device.
Yes, you can try finding the firmware for your specific model number of J7 then flash it using Odin.
If your device is an international(non-carrier branded) device, there will be a list of available firmware for your model number, each firmware on the list is for different regions/countries/carriers, you will need to find the correct firmware for your region/country that has the correct three letter region/carrier code for your carrier in your country.
If you don't know your three letter region/country/carrier code, do a Google search for:
"Region code for (your country) (your carrier)"
For example, for my device, I would search for:
"Region code for USA(my country) StraightTalk(my carrier)"
Once you find the list of available firmware for your device, find the most up to date firmware that has the same three letter region/country/carrier code that you need.
Then flash the firmware via Odin.
Or, you can even try using Samsung SmartSwitch on PC, it has a couple of "somewhat" automated troubleshooting/recovery processes that might repair your device depending on what got corrupted.
