What is XOSP and how was it born?
XOSP stands for the Xperia Open Source Project. The project was initially created by me (@nilac) for the Galaxy S+ (my old device) years ago. Back then the ROM was called S+ Reborn. The vision was to create a minimal bloat free ROM which included Sony Xperia specific apps and various tweaks users would expect from a custom ROM.
S+ Reborn became a success and was eventually ported to different devices so from there I rebranded and XOSP project was founded. I worked on the project for 2 years always trying to improve it. Eventually, Because of the fact Lollipop was buggy on my Galaxy S+ (Which I maintained xosp for at the time) I decided to take a break from development until I got my hands on the Zenfone 2 in 2015 and from then I started again the development of XOSP and continued it ever since.
What Represents a Release and what represents a Revision?
Revisions include small changes such as bug fixes/improvments etc.. (Usually there are made like 3 revisions per-release).
Releases are the main "stable" builds with all new planned features implemented and bugs fixed.

Phantom hasn't been updated yet with hotspot patch for 7.1.1 . It will be updated in a few days

Me too. @mshoaib7 pls fix this problem with wi-fi. I test with other kernel [KERNEL][LP][MM][N][x32] SEMAR for Lenovo A6000/Plus and again problem with wifi...

Hearphone will is not worrking after turn on and control audiofx or reboot with hearphone is pluged. I only listen sound from loud.

If you don't like this rom, move on, nobody asked you to use this rom. Several people love this rom, it is your problem that you don't.

About Us:

We grew even more and learned a whole lot more.
It has been an awesome learning experience and is still not over! We are still learning every day and continue to move forward. Lastly, we DO NOT accept, nor ask, for donations. We don't believe in that. Everything that is necessary to keep this project going is out of our own pocket. Gerrit, Jenkins, Websites, Devices, etc. We will never ask for a dime. All we do ask, is that you have patience, search, read and try to enjoy the process with us!!

Flashing Process​Download all the zips which ever you want then go to recovery (TWRP).
Backup the old Rom (in case any bad happens).
Wipe Cache, Dalvik, Data and System.
Browse the Rom zip or you can add the zips in a Queue.
Now Swipe to Flash the Zips.
Wait for Flashing done.
Reboot the device.
Enjoy!!!

Great ROM, but settings crashes when tapping device extras in dirty tweaks. Know any method of fixing this?

Hi folks, i am noobing... i had installed dirty unicorns recently and i am facing issue with volte.. sometimes it works and sometimes it doesnt, can someone plzzz suggest me how to get rid of that annoying problem. using JIO voice app i am able to do calls from app. my phone will work without app or sometime and when i checked the options using *#*#4636#*#* it is showing same options as it is was before when i was able to make calls normally

I'm getting a FC from the theme chooser, what gives?
This is due to restoring data/apps from Google. Go ahead and clear data and cache for theme chooser and theme provider then reboot you should be good moving forward.
I changed my LCD density and now the navbar looks weird, what gives?
This is currenly an issue that we are aware of and addressing. For now after you changed density reset navbar layout or stay on the stock density.

Excellent OS.
Very smooth.
One of the best battery life I've seen for my usage on Nougat ROMs
Only feature that was lacking that I needed was an FM Radio.
Any way to add it apart from SpiritFM? @anderson mendes Possible to add FM in next build?

Clean Flash and then install again.
Flash a nano gapps for Google assistant. Screen rotation and google assistant both are working fine here.

A : Yeah sure, but I will not support you. And no, the ROM probably does not support it.

A : Yes, its present on latest builds now for 1GB ram users
Is VOLTE supported ?
A : No.
Q : Can I flash XYZ kernel?
A : No, there's a fair number of kernel changes from Nougat to Oreo.
Q : Is the ROM suited for daily usage ?
A : Yes, Looks like all basic daily usage stuff is functional

About Us:
Dirty Unicorns is a project that started out with no name. It was a project that was first based off AOKP back in the early days of Jelly Bean. In the early days it was just a one man show on one device, the EVO 3D. Since then, many others have joined the project and it has grown exponentially.
We have seen a lot of talent contribute to this project of ours. Big or small, the focus was always on contributing to the community. That is ultimately why we do what we do. After Jelly Bean, we decided to move to a new base, OmniROM. While AOKP was fun, OmniROM proved to be even more exciting base because it challenged us to see what we could do with a project that had different goals in mind. We learned a lot and again, gain contributors. With Lollipop, we moved to an AOSP base with a lot of patches from CAF to make our older devices function as they should. We grew even more and learned a whole lot more.
It has been an awesome learning experience and is still not over! We are still learning every day and continue to move forward. Lastly, we DO NOT accept, nor ask, for donations. We don't believe in that. Everything that is necessary to keep this project going is out of our own pocket. Gerrit, Jenkins, Websites, Devices, etc. We will never ask for a dime. All we do ask, is that you have patience, search, read and try to enjoy the process with us!!

Emmmmmmmm I did a CLEAN FLASH by wiping dalvik, system, data and cache in TWRP. GApps installed. No Magisk, no Xposed, no root. Shows no service for my SIM card but can make calls. NO IN CALL UI.

Wipe all partitions (system,dalvik,cache, and others)
Format data [yes]
And flash zips
If problem persist flash stock firmware via fastboot and try again

Boot without bootanimation, u can flash any bootanimation if preferred

BTW, why team realoded abandoned the unofficial build of AEX? For me was better that the official one... But now I'm happy with dirty unicorns

Oh, when I try to send a video through WhatsApp, it says "Can't start the camera, please restart your phone" but for me, it's a minor bug, and other Oreo ROMs has the same bug... I use MIUI Camera and then I share the video...
