I have a brand new Pixel 2, having switched from Samsung Galaxy S6. I'm unable to figure out how to set an alarm for a specific date and time, rather than just for a specific time. For instance, I need an alarm for 8:55am on April 27. Am I just overlooking how to do this? Or is there an acceptable workaround? Thanks
Stock alarm does not have this option - searched the play store and found this:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.DateAlarm
I'm sure there are others........
Thanks, I'll take a look!

You can set a reminder with Assistant.

So, I'm new to WiMo and I just got an HD2 this last week. I've been looking around and I couldn't find a way to do this so I thought I'd ask.
I want to add more than 3 alarms to for my phone, and I want the app linked to the button on the Home Page (the little alarm button) So if it can be done with a reg edit and work with the stock alarm that would be the best solution, but if I have to use a custom app, I'd like to access the app by pressing the button on the home screen.
Is there any way to do this?
thanks

I use g-alarm which is a great alarm app alternative. It writes "ghost" alarm entries in the default windows alarm setup so they appear on your home screen. You can have more than 3 (not sure how many though) I also use cookies home tab mod which allows (among other great things) for me to assign the alarm icon to open up g-alarm.

Same here...I found a few super annoying mp3's to add to the mix.
ive been to g-alarm site. does g-alarm allow for diffrent alarm tones for each alarm? is there an alarm app that will let you chose which alarm sound you want for each alarm?
thanks
So there's no way to add more windows alarms without using any 3rd party applications?
I would really like to keep using the default alarm, but with more than 3 alarms..

I imagine it should be possible. Looking at the registry, it should be possible to add more via registry. The only thing that I can see keeping that from working is a mode9 or lua limitation.
Of course... Windows Mobile also could be restricting this from being possible as all the Sense UI really does is overlay the Windows Mobile alarm system.
Yeah, I was searching the registry for anything about the number of alarms, and as of now, nothing....
I actually gave up and downloaded KLAXON off of OpenMarket. It's free and works great. Plus with CHTEditor, i was able to use it as the default alarm AND it even shows me what time the next alarm will go off on the home screen. That was the biggest reason for wanting the stock alarm.
I'd give KLAXON a try, since it's freer, and it has a built in alarm sound that is one of the most annoying alarm sounds I've ever hear. Even annoying enough to get the Mrs. up at 6:00 am
hi guys. Is there an alarm clock like the one that the iphone has where you have the timer, alarm, and stopwatch alltogether in one application? I tried searching the market but i couldn't find something similar. Thanks!
I think "alarm clock extreme' is the one I use - it's pretty good, I think it does everything you're looking for.

Just downloaded... well it doesn't have a stopwatch, but it does have a timer, so it is an upgrade over what i currently have thanks
cheers, sorry I didn't have my phone near me or I would have confirmed what the app offered. Let me know if you find anything you like better.
Is there any way to set the sound of the alarm clock to a custom mp3?
I've transfered a song from my Galaxy S6 to the Gear S3 and tried to set up the mp3 as the sound for the alarm but it didn't worked!

There is an app on the market for $1 that lets you put costome ringtones
And whats the name of this app?
This is it just in the search
Custom Ringtone for all Gear S3 models and Gear S2 3G/LTE.
Guide:
1. Install the phone side app.
2. Kill the gear app if it is minimized.
3. Tap the first button inside the phone side app.
4. If connects successfully, you will see the waiting for file screen on the watch.
5. Pick the mp3 file on your phone.
6. Transfer complete. You can swipe to the right to set it as ringtone. Swipe to the left to delete unwanted files.
Okay, thanks!
Alarm Clock
Hi,
I bought this app, but it doesn't work for the Alarm clock!
Any suggestion?

Yes I did found a way and set it to a Metal Gear Solid call ringtone. It's in the app on your phone.
See photos please, hope it's helpful
Cheers

How did you add (push to the phone) the additional ringtones so you had the option of choosing MGS?

Go in your wear app on your phone and choose these settings as shown in the pictures
I used zedge to download the ringtones. Search for zedge on the playstore

In my case I used Zedge, main thing is that you got a preferred mp3 file and send it to your phone as described

Should be in a folder called music as shown in the latest picture. But that difference comes with each phone or file manager
Another thread that goes on for pages without answering the question:
This is not about sending an mp3 file to your watch or setting a RINGTONE. Both are options readily available on the app menu.
This is rather about ALARM. Setting a custom mp3 sound for the alarm on the watch.
When it comes to alarm sound and I am repeating alarm here a couple of times, there are no Alarm custom sounds aside from the Samsung ones.
How does one get custom mp3 for the.....Alarm.
Is somebody able to identify paths for Alarm sound in Firmware Files?
I mean by unpacking Odin files and search...
Thanx in advance.
Best Regards
Edit 1.
Short looked into rootfs.img from CQL1...
*.mp3
Only 3 or 5 files...
But if I search for *.ogg... then many files...
Path seems:
Code:
/usr/share/feedback
Hi. am i the only one who cant find out how to set the alarm for , let say 3 days ahead?
If its not possible, any tips on a nice app would be appriciated
Hi, on my old Galaxy S7 the clock alarm had the option to set a date so I could set alarms for more than a week ahead, I used this a lot for eBay listings. Now I really miss that feature. Does anyone know if there is a port of this clock available or one with the same feature?
Why don't you just use the calendar for this?

I could, but I found the alarm clock a lot easier to use, opening it up and having my list of alarms on one page was ideal for my eBay watching.
