Gestures - Samsung Galaxy S8 Themes, Apps, and Mods

Is there any good (free) alternative to the All In One Gestures [app]?
I only want it for the Back and Recent buttons.
I would like to use the corners
I like the All in One Gestures so much but I don't like the permission they want me to give ?

I use "buton mapper" and do it with bixby button. Single tap, home. Double tap, recent.

Swipe left for Google Now

I tried searching for this and didn't find it, and I'm really curious about it.
Is it possible for the swipe left to google now (which looks incredibly smooth in the KitKat videos) to be implemented into launchers such as nova and apex? Or is that going to be a stock launcher only thing?
Just to clarify, I'm asking if a future version of Nova/apex will be able to copycat this design, not just implement another gesture that opens the google now app. The beauty of these launchers now is that they appear very similar to aosp, but they have many more features. Will that no longer be possible after this change?
Nova (paid) already has gestures that you can set to launch any app. There are 9 gestures although swipe left isn't one of them - not that it matters

Right, I guess that is one option, but it is more jarring to switch to a totally different app than the swipe gesture that it looks like KItKat has. That seem so fluid, almost like it's just another home screen.

From what I was reading, I believe that in 4.4 it actually IS another screen. I mean it's not just that the app is hidden in the background and uncovered by a gesture, it is an option to have google now to take up a page in the layout.

Nova right now cant do anything like the google launcher for kk. When you swipe right there is an actual google now home page.

It sure is first you've got too activate Google now its in the Google search settings somewhere

i really hope that nova will implement this and all the other cool stuff from the new kk launcher... something like a more customizable stock launcher
The google launcher is basically an extension of the Google search app. Kind of like Facebook home. I doubt nova will be able to integrate this unless the build it themselves into nova. http://arstechnica.com/gadgets/2013...e-kitkats-primary-interface-is-google-search/

I suppose an app like GMD gestures could help you achieve the same effect

i knew it... would have been too cool
does anybody know how to remove it?
I think it would be cool if you can swipe left to any app of your choice, even if the app has to go on pause.

Remove what? The launcher? You can just install Apex launcher and use that instead if you wanted. If you really wanted to remove it you will need to uninstall it through titanium backup, but I wouldn't recommend that.

fingerprint gesture

Anyone onow a way to use the fingerprint gesture to pull down the notification shade like in the pixel and the s8???? I tried some apps but they usually dnt wrk.... Is it a hardware limitation on the n5 that it might not b possible??? I tried fingerprint quick action when it was in the beta stage and it wrked great, but once it hit the playstore it stopped responding like b4....
Any one know a way?
Hardware limitation I think..
you can use a launcher called: Nova Launcher
but u need to buy the premium version.
to be more specific, it will not act the same way you are asking, in the premium features you have on screen swipe gesture where you can assign the swipe down gesture to show the notifications.
I'm using this method and it is really nice.

Why people disable NavBar?

Any reasons why people use mods/hacks to disable the navbar permanently? Samsung offers the option to do so, but why u have to disable it permanently?
Gestures navigation is not that smooth & u have to use an app.
Is there any benefits or something I'm missing?

I do it so I dont have to look at it
Its always white when i want it black and black when I want it white
Lol That's pretty funny tbh:laugh:
You have this big beautiful touch screen, why do I want to take up space on the screen (or have it appear/disappear) every time I want to navigate or go to the home screen? I use Gesture Control so that I just have to swipe left/right/up at the bottom and never have to see it...
Looks better and is really cool to have the whole screen.... navigation gestures works pretty well.
It's quite simple really, you get more screen real estate and you don't need to look at the ugly navbar.

I tried the xda navigation gestures & the fullscreen view is pretty awesome tbh.
How did u hide the navigation bar & what gesture app/mod do u use please? I want something a little smoother than the xda gesture app.
I'm on Alexis 5.3 rom.

I used to use plasmalite and it was awesome, unfortunately stopped working well under Oreo and it never got updated. Now I use XDA gestures, which is pretty OK, in some aspects better than plasmalite.

Xda gestures works great especially the split pill giving additional swipes. I have some very minor delays with it though, but I can live with it. OnePlus gestures is the best so far, but it's paid.
I tried out XDA's Navigation Gestures (paid version) but find Samsung's One Hand Operation+ more enjoyable.
From the edge screen I simply swipe left to go back, to open recents I swipe up diagonally from the same place and to go home I just press the home button.

Many thanks! I find it smoother than xda gestures, but it doesn't work in landscape mode & immersive games

After switching to mokee rom from miui 10 only thing I missed was the navigation gesture. I think it is one oft the most beautiful implementation among all. So I was looking for third party apps to mimic miui gestures. So far I have found these to be parfect. I am using the first one right now...

Bro, you never posted the configuration, i really want to use an AOSP ROM but those navigations are just keeping me tied to MIUI-based ROMs.

There are apps that will allow you to customize this behavior extensively. I've been using OnePlus Gestures. It's in the Play Store and not a OnePlus product. It's outstanding, gives you the ability to set gestures in lots of different ways (swiping up, left, right, up and hold, etc., though it seems to "phone home" a lot. There are others, too. Fluid Gestures does what you want, but not as much overall as OnePlus Gestures. And maybe some of the ROMs will give you this functionality if you're rooted and want to go down that road.
mmm ok thanks alot…
this app didnt helped me much.
and no, i dont want to go down this rooted road ;D
i thought it will be simple…

I see. Is that Navigation Gestures you're using? I'd been using that some before switching to OnePlus Gestures. I don't have it installed anymore, so I can't check the settings for it, if that's what you're using.

I think he's just using the Pie gestures. Sadly yes, switching button placement doesn't switch the recent apps orientation too.
