I have a Honor 8 FRD-AL00 bought on Alixepress.
I unlocked the bootloader a few days ago and rooted the device with SuperSU.
Wanting to put the system of my device in FRD-AL09, I used the technique proposed here: https://forum.xda-developers.com/honor-8/how-to/guide-honor-8-to- erd-l19-t3632220
The problem is that when handling, my phone is turned off while downloading the frimeware.
It is since unusable, I can not turn on even with the method 3 buttons
. I tried flash a new frimeware with my SD card but it was a failure and I do not know what to do.
I only have access to fastboot with my computer but that's it. He does not recognize my honor 8 ... What should I do?

The long story:
I'm a total noob in this subject. I don't even use my phone on a regular basis and I basically just got a smartphone like 2 months ago. At the rare cases when I used my phone (which is a huawei p7, if I'm correct) it was very noticeable and frustrating for me that I wasn't the administrator of it. I used linux and windows based computers throught out my whole life and it wasn't very comfortable for me to use an android... it just felt discusting how closed the OS was to me.
Soooo.... I tried to get rid of that annoying factor by rooting. And it went wrong... I watched a short youtube tutorial and tought it seemed fairly easy so I downloaded Kingo ROOT, connected my phone to my laptop and ran the root. The root completed, however my phone didn't turn off and restart nor during or after the root. So I decided to restart it miself and then I was stuck at the bootloop screen with the huawei logo. Then I tried to factory reset it and that didn't work either. Then tried to remove the root by connecting my phone in fastboot mode to my laptop but then my laptop didn't recognize my phone. I asked for help from a friend who said that I should ask for help here. I can't remove the back of my phone to remove the battery either because the huawei p7's back isnt detachable (Correct me if I'm wrong).
Any ideas?

it appears that you may need to unlock your bootloader first.

you should be able to return to stock with sp flashtools. Why not ask the experts in the P7 forum and they will guide you

Revive your forgotten HONOR deviece {Mine Honor 8 didn't even charge only fb&rescue}
I have a honor 8 FRD-L19C900..... Series phone , to find and official firmware or update it to nougat is a real headache. i tried and in the process i some how bricked my phone beyond hope. it only could go to fastboot and rescue mode , no FRP Unlocked no Phone Unlocked , after almost 4 months , i've finally found a solution , and it might just work for any honor/huawei phone.
it took me 15 EUROS and like 2-3 hours to finally revive it.
its very simple. DC-pheonix. google the software and you can see all the tuts and everything , to flash your phone with any firmware you need 15 credits that is equal to 15 EUROS.
Buy credits you'll get username and pass.
After that just connect your device with pc with pheonix on in fastboot and rescue mode and select your last known working firmware/the appropriate firmware.
just update it with the software and boom , it'll do all the hardwork for you and will successfully write the firmware on your device.
if at the end your phone says FAILED. Don't worry, Just restart the device and you'll finally feel happy.

hi guys i tryied to intsal twrp recovery to mine huawei p9 lite and i used srk tool but when its supposed to start the twrp tool i got stock on your device has been unlocked and cant be trusted now i cannot rebbot mine phone i tryed almost every possible way to turn off but it automaticli turn on nd go to this point when it gets stuck help me please its maybe bcs my phone its bricked?
I don't remember p9 lite 2017 having twrp.
Anyway, your phone is officially f**cked!
The only way to unbrick it is using the dload method. Use google

I tried to update to oreu the hwota method every thing OK but when phone restart 14% then instillation field!!
the I tried Re-branding method same ( every thing complete ) when phone restart instillation field
the when restart phone say error redownload update again ... no image error n 2

yea buddy im stuck on the same boat but mine is MHA-L09 and at least your able to do that you can look for the adb fastboot method this can help you out im on my way out when i come back ill look for it so you can do it
Hey guys, I have a Huawei Honor Holly/hol-u19 that was running the Huawei OS of Android 4.4.2. I then decided to root it so i could install a stock ROM of Android 5 and flashed TWRP with no problems. When i flashed the ROM, it showed a bunch of errors. I then shut down my phone and when I restarted it after a couple of days, I saw that the device was loading only into TWRP and not into any OS. I restarted it and saw that even TWRP had dissappeared and i was staring at the HONOR logo. I left it on charging for 4 hours but to no avail. Can you guys PLEASE tell me of a fix that can repair my phone, cause i'm broke asf and cant afford to buy a new phone.
