First time installing crDroid to your Otus, or coming from another ROM:
** Make sure you're running a proper working Recovery (TWRP)
1) Copy crDroid zip, GApps zip to your device
2) Boot into Recovery
3) Wipe cache, system, & data (or just cache & system for a dirty flash).
4) Flash ROM
8) Flash GApps
9) Boot up
For root, AFTER you boot into the ROM, you can go back to recovery and install Magisk XX.x (whatever is most recent).
Upgrading from earlier version of crDroid:
The only difference between clean flash as above and upgrading is you just wipe system & cache, leaving data. Everything else is the same. ***Remember to always clean flash before reporting problems. Clean flashing is always the best method of ROM install.

I have a query, is lift to wake feature enabled for our device?
First of all, thanks for the ROM! It's very smooth.
Secondly, for the people who are facing issues with magisk, please follow this to fix the issue:
Install magisk manager
Unroot the device (if previously rooted)
Boot into recovery and flash magisk v16.0 zip.
Boot back into ROM, open magisk settings and disable magisk hide
Reboot

Cmactions aren't included, so there is no wake to lift.
Edit: it seems to be working for a few...
Please some one test the ROM and give the feedback. Because I can't install . This is my primary device . Specially battery backup

Fix FC Keyboard:
Download fix_keyboard_FC.zip from attached files.
Reboot to TWRP.
Flash it after ROM and GAPPS of course.
Enjot the fix.

Recommendations:
If problems persist, do a factory reset.
Flash SlimGapps.
Then flash FC Keyboard fix of AOSP-6.0.
Replace Animation Boot with CM-12.1
Go to the following link.
Click on "view Raw".
Then rename the animation boot to bootanimation.zip.
Reboot, now your animation should be changed.

With a file manager, like ES Explorer File Manager, open System/Media (root access are needed).

The problem of this feature, if select the sdcard as portable it's working without problem and move pics and video only, so when choose as internal storage the setting apps crash. i don't know if work on AOSP-6.0 (didn't test).
At the moment i am trying fix something in Settings code to see if can solve the probem then we should wait if RR team release the changelog of v5.6.0 generally .

1. Android Pay isn't working!! What do I do?
Go into Magisk settings and toggle on the "Hide Magisk" option. Then try again. Also, I've found once in a great while, even with this enabled, it will say it failed - if this happens, just try again...it'll work.
2. Help! I can't find more Q & A entries! Why is there only one??

It's not working in any roms.
This is a stable ROM build, not Gcam port.
How about the battery life and performance? And is this have face unlock features. I mean face unlock from rom itself not from google smart lock
Without GCAM this rom will be of no use . So far Gcam only works on ArrowOs feb 20- build.

Just tried but saldy gcam is not working properly you will have to restart your device because after clicking 3-4 pictures gcam just stops working, it just freezes on shutter button.

This rom is by far the best rom from what i have used till date ( stag,aex,ancient,ion, evolution x.. etc).
Few things i liked about it are :-
-The customisation is vast

Go to magisk settings turn on magisk hide rename magisk repo clear repo cache flash arcore magisk module clear the cache of magisk app then reboot and check....

Gaming performance is gr8 on this rom...and I don't think you need to flash vendor....just install the rom as instructed .

After you reboot to recovery mode , wipe these :
Cache
Dalvik cache
Vendor
System
Data
DO NOT WIPE ' Internal Storage '
Then install the rom ...after the installation is successful , you can flash gapps or magisk (for rooting your device) or both .

Enforcing selinux but playstore showing device not certified. Cam in low light can't taking the pictures. There is no sounds for ringer , if we touch the phone ringtone/sim card sound app force closing. Networks( wifi and carrier) are not stable both are not connected. I know this is beta version , basics are must work ....Any way once again Tq very much for participating such a good development.

For CTS issue you can use Pixelprop module, camera you can use CameraGo and sound ringtone just download sound app from playstore.

Features such as these will take some time to implement considering Android 11 was released less than two weeks ago. You should use third-party apps for the time being.
awesome rom just one major problem causing not use this rom as daily driver is VOLTE. call not receiving and working in mu JIO network.

I need help magisk doesn't work whatever i do a flash via zip or .img (TWRP) and i check on magisk manager still not rooted.
Secondly, the charging bar when you shutdown the phone not working (can't see the status charging bar).
Third, dual sim card not working. Only detect one sim only, another sim says not available/invalid card.
Fourth, Camera Go flash doesn't work.
Fifth, Mic can't record sound and calling.
That's it, i'm sorry too much complaint.
Please add in next update: Face Unlock

Its early android 11 build,you will have to wait atleast few more months before all 11 ROMs include all features like 10.
Hi,
After flashing the ROM I stuck on "To start android enter password", I tried to enter pass and I am getting "decryption unsuccessful".
I didn't have encryption enable on my previous ROM, I flashing this ROM after clean installation of MIUI Global.
I have the option "Erase all data" but even so my phone boot to twrp and doing that I still boot to the password windows.
