Never heard of such a thing. Nearly all cellular hands free "headsets" are 2.5mm, so I guess you really mean headphones. Just buy a 3.5mm to 2.5mm adapter for your headphones.

nearly all pda's actually use mini usb headsets(TYTN,EXCALIBUR/DASH,etc.) i was wondering if these headsets could some how be used with the 2125. I cant find a 2.5mm headset that will play through both ear buds.
you can always find one 2.5mm stereo headset (the one come with tornado works great). I myself enjoy using the 2.5mm to 3.5mm stereo headset adapter with my own boss headphone, it gives a really good quality sound. Try to get one from ebay

Um... little rusty on all the models, but not many of those are smartphones. Lots of adapters out there that do work. Unlikely any USB solution will. Not for poor little Tornado.
you guys are probably right, but i lost my headset that came with it and i want to buy another one with a mic you guys know any compatible ones?
Anything with a 2.5mm jack should be compatible. Have you considered a BT A2DP headphones/handsfree set?
I'm using a C3 from Sonorix and it's rather spiffy.

Remote control for music, call display, comes with and takes a standard 3.5mm headphones. Mic is in the clip-on receiver. Better with those newer shorter/detachable headphones so you don't have a mile of cable dangling about.
Crushers and S9s
I use the SkullCandy Crusher ONEs as a full sized wired headset on my SP5. http://www.a2zboardshop.com/more/59603905-Skullcandy-Skull-Crusher-Headphones-with-Subwoofer/. This headset\microphone is 2.5mm four connector by default and comes with a 3.5mm three connector slip-over adapter which I find so much better than a 3.5mm female to 2.5mm male dongle when you use your phone.
For wireless, I had been using the Motoroloa S9 and could have lived with the ugle orange\red accents but the phone calls are always in single channel mono. The soon to be released S9-HD is all black and you can hear the caller in both ears.
I would be interested in any in-ear stereo headset with a 2.5mm four connector plug. Even more so if it had a a microphone.

I have one exactly like this and it works great. Good luck!
I have the Logitech Premium Notebook Headset
http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/webcam_communications/internet_headsets_phones/devices/223&cl=AU,EN
It has 2x 3.5mm plugs. One for the headphones, the other for the mic. Is there an adapter that I can use to plug this into my HTC Diamond? Often time's while I'm at work I'm answering calls on my cell and wouldn't mind having this hooked up to it while I'm working....
you could use the standart adapter by htc because it also has an microphone so u are able to answer your calls also^^
or maybe use the standart adapter and get a y-3,5mm cabel, i know that there is any excisting
Maybe something like this:

It has been here too: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=369243
Standard adapter is not equiped in microphone. You can not connect also 2 3,5mm because this standard adapter has one 3,5 mm and 2nd smaller input for mic ( I do not know what is this standard but it is deffinitly not 3,5 mm) . Once I was trying to recreate this little jack and use headset that I was using for Skype the result was not succesfull so I just abandoned the idea to use different headset than originally equiped by HTC.
It's not exactly what you want, but but I have this from brando:

You can use it to connect any 3.5mm headphone, but not the mic. But there is a microphone inside the 3.5mm jack.
Hi,
Bose headphone's in-line remote and mic (maybe mic works) does not fully work with Xperia Z3 (android phones) out of the box.... so was wondering if there is any cable out there that can be used on these headphones and has in-line mic with remote that works on Z3 ?
any idea if this will work? -> http://forecasts.bsch.com.au/stormcast.html?ops=gfs:2014120218:2014120506:aus:ts:null:0#sc
p.s. does anyone knows the schematics of cable or electronically what makes the remote button work on Z3 ?
Im sure you can find a pin adapter online, my old Philips earphones came with an adapter, to use with iPhone etc.
Hey I was wondering if the Type-C to 3.5mm adapter can power high-impedance (i.e. HD600, R70x) headphones well enough to not buy a dedicated headphone DAC and amp. I was wondering if anyone with high-impedance headphones could test it out with their HTC U11.
I have a Galaxy S7 FE and I have a pair of Sony bluetooth noise cancelling headphones. I can pair the headphones with bluetooth and audio works fine. But sometimes I go on business trips and long flights the battery in the headphones die. In this case I want to connect the headphones using a wire. The headphones have a 3.5mm female connector as well as USB-C. I have tried connecting the headphones directly USBC headphones to USBC tablet and audio doesn't come out of headphones (just tablet speakers). I have also tried using this device and using the 3.5mm cable, still no luck.
Does anyone know how to connect headphones to the tablet with a wire, either 3.5mm or USB-C?
Appreciate any advice.
I am using this one with my Tab S7 FE. Charging and Headphones work even in combination.
