The update brings fixes to some call stability issues users have been having since the launch of the device, as well as improve wallpaper quality. The update should be available worldwide in a couple of days, so don't panic if you don't get it today or tomorrow.

Thanks for this good news. Do you know if the Galaxy S7 will soon get this new interface (with android 7.1.1 for example), or if we have to wait for the android O update ?

You're welcome. I also asked them few days ago will S7 get 7 1.1 Nougat and they told me: "YES. BUT WE ARE NOT SURE WHEN". I hope that they will bring it with 7.1.1. Also they didn't say with what version will S7 get new UI. If I find out I will let you know.

Google is set to release the next iteration of its Android OS Android O on 21 August which is the day of the US total solar eclipse. While we are just a day away from the launch, most of the smartphone manufacturers are now gearing up to provide the new update to their recently launched smartphones. As such, one of the top brands Samsung is also preparing for the update and is looking forward to providing Android O for its smartphones with its Grace UI on top which will be better optimized to run the software smoothly. While the company has been a bit slow in providing updates, hopefully, this time Samsung rolls out the update at a much faster pace.
Looking at Nougat, Samsung got the first updates out to the Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge in China and the UK 143 days after Google released Android 7.0. The update took a grand total of 180 days to reach US shores, landing first on T-Mobile, followed by AT&T the day after and Sprint two days after that. Verizon hobbled across the finish line a couple of weeks later. -- What the actual f(*)ck, samsung?!
you might be right, mate!
Good news for s7 users. But android O is really worst than android N reported by some forums due to less root capabilites and different system structure.

When delivery ONE UI 2.1 for galaxy note 10 lite? Samsung galaxy s10 lite delivery ONE UI 2.1 update .
when it arrives....
Depending on where you are located and if you are happy to install manually then you can get it for note 10 lite now, it's available for PHE -Spain and XSG - United Arab Emirates
I'm in UK and downloaded the Spain one then installed manually via Odin as it's was the same multi CSC code for me and I've used the Spain one before.
If not then your will surely get it very soon now it's started
Jest received and install one ui 2.1,Bosnia and Herzegovina. Many new features, really like it. Front camera 50-60% better then it was. Now everything works really good.
I can't wait for OneUI 2.1.

Hello there,
I live in Malaysia and recently, I bought a note 20 ultra 5G. I bought it online and device works fine. I wanted to update the device but it kept saying that my device is up to date which is false because I am running Android 11 with 1 July 2021 Android Security Patch Level. I found out that since this device is carrier based (AT&T), and in order to update it, I need to be in the United States, running the phone with an AT&T SIM. I obviously have no intentions of going to the United States solely to update my phone. I tried searching for answers and found no results. I'm too scared of simply flashing the latest AT&T firmware with Odin, fear of the device being bricked with no way of me restoring it or for some reason the device will be carrier locked and I can't use my Malaysian SIMs in the phone anymore. My current baseband is N986USQU2DUF2.
Is there any way that I can update the phone? Any help or suggestions is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
edit: I meant to type "Android 11 with 1 July 2021" it has been fixed.
Rule #1 if a OS is fast, stable and fulfilling its mission, let it be.
Upgrades, updates can and do break devices.
This silly stock N10+ hasn't been updated in 2.5 years and is running happily on Pie. Current load will be 2 yo in June with only minimal maintenance. Security is not an issue.

I hear you. Don't be crying about poor performance, loss of usability and functionality.
No roll back if the bootloader is updated and then you are boned if the upgrade turns into a downgrade.
My opinion is:
10 is a wash, you lose some functionality and what you gain doesn't make up for what you lost.
11 takes away more than it gives.
12 is a fubar. A complete mess. UI, speed suck and it excels at puking on its users.
13? come on... can't you see where this is going?
Testing it first before sacrificing your device be best. Dumb gf's can be useful...
For new versions wait at least a few months to see what users say.
Buy an Apple instead, 12 is a bad copy of Apple's lame restrictive scoped storage security
