My friend asked me and i posted here too, for newbies like me... Cuz of no new information for new people in the forum about cm 11 rom.
Step by step:
1- You need CWM, recommend this new one, seems stable: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2691115
Dowload is here : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=51462064&postcount=13 (flashable zip file)
How can install CWM? : search the forum pls, ppl explain with details.
2- In CWM settings> Wipe DATA/FACTORY reset > Clean to install a new rom > YES
In CWM settings> Wipe Cache Partition > YES
In CWM settings> Advanced > Wipe Dalvik Cache> YES
3- Device cleaned for new rom> CM11/KitKat rom is here : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2581415
Download is here : http://download.androidarmv6.org/_builds/beni/ (example 29-03-2014 01:58 newest one )
4- Flash and Reboot Device> first reboot will take 5 min.
5- There is Your KitKat. If you want GAPPS (google play etc), latest working gapps download is here http://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=23329332407579610
Tips :
- Download all files before progress and copy your sd card.
- If you want auto update for cm 11 without reseting your rom, info is here : http://androidarmv6.org/job/cm-ota/
- CM11 has some bugs, but nearly perfect for daily use.
- How to enable developer settings on CM11;
Go to the settings menu, and scroll down to "About phone." Tap it.
Scroll down to the bottom again, where you see "Build number." (Your build number may vary from ours here.)
Tap it seven (7) times. After the third tap, you'll see a playful dialog that says you're four taps away from being a developer. (If only it were that simple, eh?) Keep on tapping, and *poof*, you've got the developer settings back.
PS:
****** I don't take any responsibilities if you have any problem about phone. And don't worry , i have install a lot of rom like these style, has no problem yet on me. Good luck and have fun...
doesnt work for me ... setup wizard gets fc, and then i can only see the statusbar, the rest of screen is black
i used philz recovery, last cm11 and these gapps that you said.
i installed the recovery, then wiped to install a new rom, next installed cm11 and gapps, and then reboot.
what is the way to follow to install cm11 correctly?

Hi All, new to this forum... what brought me here is trying to figure out if I can upgrade the TF101 to android higher than 4.0.3 that seems to be the "normal" latest version you can get.
Issues I have are: lockup, freeze, twitter post (crash twitter), screen weird colors (need reboot) etc... Maybe I have some hardware issue... planing to open the case and verify all connectors are ok and well seated.
I just spent 4 hours looking around this forum and saw the KatKiss 4.4.4 thing... I say thing because I have no clue (and did not find how) to install this thing.
So! Is it worth it that I spent hours more on understanding how to upgrade, debug and all... or I just go buy a new tablet?
I saw some post around the twitter issue that did not work either after KatKiss upgrade, so not sure if it's worth it ?
I was looking at the Samsung Pro tablets with 8 cores... seems amazing! But pricy!
Anyhow, recommendations?
If you say... sure try to upgrade to 4.4.4 with KatKiss... ok, I can try that, but from the last 4 hours of reading/looking around, I did not find instructions steps I could understand.
Most of those steps I have not clue what they are!
These builds are designed to be installed from your favorite recovery. MAKE SURE TO INSTALL A COMPATIBLE ANDROID 4.2/4.3 RECOVERY!
TWRP >= 2.3.2.3 is recommended, new TWRP available here
Backup everything !
Go to recovery
Make a full wipe / factory reset (you can skip this step if you're already on KatKiss-4.4, if ever you encounter a problem do the full wipe and try again before reporting )
Format /system (only if Version<026)
Flash the rom
Flash KatKiss gapps
Wipe cache/dalvik
Reboot

Thanks for any feedback

Hi Simon.
Is your device already rooted?
You need to root your device first.
What android version are you running?

Easiest way, use Easyflasher (If your TF101 has a serial number B6O or eariler (Some B7O), it is an SBK1, most B7O and all higher are SBK2) choosing the wrong one in Easyflasher will not do any harm, it just won't work
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1688012
1: Flash TWRP recovery with Easyflasher
2. Download KatKiss ROM #33 & Latest Gapps and copy to your MicroSD, stick MicroSD Card into TF101
3: Boot to TWRP Recovery by powering off the TF, then pressing and holding Power & Volume Down until the white text appears at the top of the screen, then quickly hit Volume Up once
4: Goto the WIPE menu, and wipe everything apart from External Storage (This will 100% wipe your TF, so if you have anything you want to keep, back it up, you can also make a Nandroid backup inside of TWRP, so make sure your MicroSD Card has enough room if you choose that)
5: Once everything is wiped, goto the INSTALL menu and install KatKiss ROM you copied to the MicroSD Card (Might have to select External from the INSTALL menu to navigate to the MicroSD Card)
6: When the ROM says it is completed the install, go back to the INSTALL menu and install the GAPPS you also copied to the MicroSD Card
7: Once GAPPS have completed installing (Ignore any messages about failing to mount partitions etc) WIPE Cache and Dalvik Cache (Might ask you immediately after flashing Gapps, if not, do it from the WIPE menu
8: Choose REBOOT > SYSTEM or POWER OFF > REBOOT
9: All being well, you are now running the KatKiss ROM
---
TIPS:
When using Easyflasher, you're gonna need to install the "Universal Naked Drivers" from the Easyflasher thread - use a 32bit Windows 7 for least chance of any problems, 64bit windows requires driver signing, and so do all versions of Windows 8.x, you can use 8.x but you'll need to disable driver signing mode before installing them
---
Any problems, reply here and I`ll check every now and then
ok here's the detail steps I did...
1) I have a TF101, B60... S/N, thus SBK1 (what ever that means!)
2) Using this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1688012
- Need APX Drivers: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1514942
Found those instructions that partially work:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1514942&page=4
Search in the start menu for Device Manager and open it.
Plug in your tablet via USB while in APX mode (hold power button and volume (+) until the screen turns off).
The driver should try to automatically install off the tablet upon plugging it in to your computer.
If it fails to install, you will have an "Unknown Devices" section in Device Manager.
Right click on Unknown Devices and hit update driver.
Then hit manually install driver. Point the file browser to the root folder of the extracted package that you downloaded.
For clarification: You downloaded the zip in the OP called Universal_Naked_Driver_0.72.zip.
When you extract it, you should get something like Universal Naked Driver 0.72 or something like that.
Point that file browser to the newly extracted folder, NOT the subfolders.
If you point it to the amd64 or the i386 subfolders it will not work. Hope this helps you out!
That is partly true... here's what I did:
1. power button + volume up
2. device manager showed "other devices" - APX
3. right-click APX and update driver
4. point to extracted naked driver folder
5. Cannot install - hash not present issue!
6. Found this how-to on installing unsigned drivers: http://dhakshinamoorthy.wordpress.com/2012/05/14/installing-an-unsigned-driver-in-windows-8-x64/
- Cannot find the control panel advanced startup menu!!!
Found those that work! http://pcsupport.about.com/od/windows-8/a/open-advanced-startup-options-windows-8.htm
Method 2: PC Settings
Swipe from the right to open the charms bar.
Tip: If you have a keyboard, use WIN+I and then skip to Step 3.
Tap or click on Settings.
Tap or click on Change PC settings at the bottom of the charms bar.
Choose Update and recovery from the list of options on the left of the PC settings window.
Note: Prior to Windows 8.1, choose General instead and then skip to Step 6.
Choose Recovery.
Locate Advanced startup, at the bottom of the list of options on your right.
Tap or click on Restart now.
Wait through the Please wait message until Advanced Startup Options opens.
After reboot, I could install the Asus Transformer APX interface.
downloaded easy flasher: http://yarr.ntg.cx/pub/EasyFlasher-0.8.3b-STABLE.zip
extracted and started with SBK1
Choose TWRP 2.2.1 and clicked flash
Tablet need to be in APX mode (power + volume up)
click flash and ok
Saw this on easy flash:
Running Wheelie..

Saw this on tablet:

Copying those file to root of flash drive
- KatKiss-4.4.4_032b.zip

- cache
- Dalvik cache
- Factory reset
- System
- Internal storage
- Format data
FAILED!

5) Once everything is wiped, goto the INSTALL menu and install KatKiss ROM you copied to the MicroSD Card (Might have to select External from the INSTALL menu to navigate to the MicroSD Card)
- Choose katkiss rom
KatKiss-4.4.4_032b.zip

6) When the ROM says it is completed the install, go back to the INSTALL menu and install the GAPPS you also copied to the MicroSD Card
- gapps-KatKiss-4.4.4_20140720.zip
- Home
7) Also installed fsync_on.zip
- This is optional to have more speed, but can cause data loss if tablet reboot
8) WIPE Cache and Dalvik Cache
9) Reboot - System
- Should see the new OS start - with the dog and colored circles!
10) After a short minute... you will get the welcome and setup screen
- Do standard setup!
Tablet is up and running... NICE!
Thanks a LOT!
Will now re-install my stuff and test... will keep you posted.
Do this detailed how-to exist somewhere?
CRAP!!! The main reason I updated this tablet was in the hopes to fix the twitter issue... that is, when trying to post a new tweet, the app crash and restart...
SAME issue!
Any tips on this one would be wonderful.
It's easy.
First root it. Rooting has a few basic common steps. just get the files right.
Then install the rom in recovery!
Voila!

I am essentially trying to do this although I have a C20 so I use SBK2 in Easy Flash. However, after I do my wipes, then go to flash my rom, I get an error message that it can't open the zip file What is strange is that I have done this before and have had KK installed on my tablet.

Great pleased you managed to get it working in the end, you can now update TWRP to either the latest official 2.3.2.3 or the unofficial which has been taken over by another member, that's possibly why you ended up with the DATA failing to wipe
Twitter works ok for me, but there are 2 different types of KatKiss, there is the normal one which has a speed increase, and the NonLinaro version which has much better compatibility with apps
Its possible twitter is not liking the Linaro version (Normal one)
Anyway, you are set to flash whichever ROMs you like now you have TWRP, but Id advise updating to 2.3.2.3 to avoid issues, that's the version Ive been running since it was released
Oh and SBK1 and 2 mean, Secure Boot Key, SBK1 was leaked and therefore very easy to flash recovery and other stuff to that required the key, SBK2 did not leak, so devs had to find workarounds in order to flash recovery
Wow Simon.
Already so much.
By the way you sound like a pro already
Now just follow what *detection* says.
That Rom is fast and smooth.

So here's a couple of questions:
1. TWRP... before I used EasyFlasher that have TWRP 2.2.1
- I did not find easy flasher with TWRP 2.3.2.3 what do you recommend to use to update TWRP? Link please.
2. You said Twitter work for you and you installed the NonLinaro... right?
- I would be using this link: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2592890
That's good?
Any other tips, new version since you last post?
Thanks,

Did you reboot fully into KK before trying to get into recovery after flashing 2.3.2.3?
You need flash 2.3.2.3 > reboot fully into KK to complete the install > then reboot into recovery
Also you can try powering off the TF, then hold Vol down and Power until you see the white text at the top of the screen, then release all buttons and quickly tap Vol up to enter recovery

I have tried many time to do power with vol down and vol up... I see "cold-booting linux"... then KK, not recovery mode
I started another thread for this, not sure where the best place to discuss this is?
I followed this guide [GUIDE] MAC Rooting Nexus S (http://forum.xda-developers.com/nexus-s/general/guide-mac-rooting-nexus-s-t878446) until point
6) Open ROM Manager and choose "Flash ClockworkMod Recovery". At this point you are all set .

As Rom manager rebbot doesn't work, I installed Root checker and it told me thet the phone was not rooted properly. So I decided to follow another guide [HACK] Superboot Method for 2.3.2 (GRH78C) (http://forum.xda-developers.com/nexus-s/development/hack-superboot-method-2-3-2-grh78c-t927838).
Now the phone doesn't work! In other words when I press the power button the Google logo screen remains and Android doesn't start.
If i hold volume up and power button I gain the following:
Code:
Fastboot mode
Product name: Hearing
Hw version - rev 52
Bootloader version - I902XXLC2
Baseband version - I902XXKI1
Carrier info - EUR
Serial number - 3035...
Lock state - unlocked
and I can choose:
Code:
[LIST]
[*]Reboot bootloader
[*]Reboot
[*]Recovery
[*]Power off
[/LIST]
I think that the problem is that the phone is looking for the file "install-recovery.sh" that I renamed into "install-recovery.sh.old".

I'm going to put it step by step using the Nexus root tool kit (NRTK)
1. download a flashable recovery of your choice (CWM 6.0.4.3 Philz 6.19.3 or TWRP 2.7.0 or higher on all these)
2. download the kitkat rom you want to install
3. download the Gapps that match the rom you chose ( if a 4.4.2 rom get a 4.4.2 gapps if 4.4.4 then 4.4.4)
4. boot your phone into bootloader / fastboot
5. connect your phone to your pc (it should recognize it)
6. open your NRTK and go to the advanced section and choose to temporarily boot custom recovery (this will be TWRP 2.6.3)
7. ON YOUR PHONE select mount usb
8. ON THE COMPUTER open the device/folder for your phone and create a new file on your SD card ( I called mine " !zip " this kept it ontop of the list of files) and copy the recovery, rom, and kernel to this folder.
9. ON YOUR PHONE unmount usb, return to the main menu screen and select install, find that folder you made and select the recovery zip that you copied and swype to install
10. after it installs (10seconds) return to the main menu, select reboot then reboot recovery ( you may get a warning about not having a rom or su, ignore both)
11. now you are on your KK compatible recovery (nearly there)
12. No matter which recovery you chose find the section to wipe or format your phone (DO NOT WIPE OR FORMAT YOUR SD CARD !!!! this will wipe everything off your phone and may make it hard / impossible to restore) and ONLY wipe or format system, cache, and dalvik partitions. On philz there is an option to wipe to install a new rom (this is a onestep version of the above)
13. return to the main menu page and select install, choose your rom and install, then your gapps and install ( if on TWRP you can select both by choosing the option to add a zip to flash)
14. the moment of truth, now that you have flashed both rom and gapps, you need to return to the main menu and select reboot and reboot system...
15. assuming you did all of this issue free, you are free to enjoy your phone..
*if you don't have your phone recognized by your computer / NRTK, you need to follow the instructions for NRTK to get the correct drivers for your computer
**if you are not clear on what you are doing, ask before you make a mistake
***Your custom rom will be pre-rooted, so no need to try to root it
HI all,
I saw the need of reposting my post #282 (main ZOPO ZP999 thread) for people who want to root, flash recovery or for some reason lost control of their precious Zopo and want to regain it
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I have noticed that the link sometimes is unavailable : Mod edit sales link removed
Therefore i post it here again : also THANKS TO JASPER===JG77 and Ghost45
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
This is what you have to do:
- Preferably use a Windows 7 (x32 or x64) system
- Download and install drivers http://www.4shared.com/rar/f0a9TeP8ba/Zopo_ZP999-3X_32-64bit.html
- Download the firmware and extract it (a stock ROM) http://www.zopomobileshop.com/content/9-download-zopo-mobile-latest-rom
- Download a recovery (I used CarlivTouch) http://www.4shared.com/file/xKa5nYyuce/recovery_CarlivTouch_30_ZP999.html
- Download SP Flashtool and extract http://www.4shared.com/zip/FlMUfELsba/SP_Flash_Tool_exe_Windows_v514.html
- Download SuperSu https://download.chainfire.eu/641/SuperSU/UPDATE-SuperSU-v2.40.zip
- Boot your phone and connect to your PC and copy the SuperSu zip to your SD (I used a micro SDcard and not phone storage)
- Disconnect and shutdown the phone
- Start SP Flashtool (as administrator)
- Click 'Scatter-Loading' and select the 'MT6595_Android_Scatter.txt' from the downloaded Firmware! Picture 1
- Remove all selections except (!) recovery
- Click on the location of the recovery
- Select the custom downloaded recovery file (in my case recovery_CarlivTouch_30_ZP999.img) Picture 2
- Remove the battery from your phone (DON'T CONNECT YET) (battery pull :not necessary i think...but does not harm )
- Make sure you see 'Download Only' in SP Flashtool and click the 'Download' button
- Now connect your phone to your computer and leave the battery out of it!
- Wait till you see a green sign Picture 3
- Disconnect your phone but the battery back in but (!) DON'T BOOT
- Connect the phone to a charger and wait till it shows the battery level
- Press the buttons Volume-Up and Power and hold them
- After the first Zopo screen release Power (I kept holding Volume-Up)
- If all is well you now see the custom recovery! (you can let go of the volume button ) (if it didn't work the first time because of wrong timing, just shut down again and retry)
- Immediately install the SuperSU ZIP file (install zip-> Choose zip from /storgage/sdcard1)
- When done choose reboot and if you get questions about fixing to keep the custom recovery and fix root, say YES
- Let it boot into Android and Check ROOT with f.e. rootchecker
- Go to Google Play Store and install Busybox (not necessary)
- Start Busybox and make sure you give it Root right (not necessary)
- Press Install, if it fails the first time do it a second time. You should see an OK message if all is well. (not necessary)
- Reboot your phone, and PRESTO, your phone is rooted.
If you would install MobileUncle Tools from Google Play Store you can see you are rooted. (Here you allways can go in recovery without any problems)
Thanksbutton appreciated

I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR BRICKING YOUR DEVICE, BE CAREFUL WHILE DOING THIS.
This guide will show you how to flash twrp, install lineage os 14.1, gapps, and magisk on T116, T113 or T110.
Q&A:
Q: What is it for?
A: It will make your device faster, will give you root acces and upgrade it to android 7.1.2.
Q: Will this delete my data?
A: Yes.
Q: If my device gets bricked, can i recover it?
A: Usually, you will need stock firmware of your device and flash it with odin, but your data will get lost.
Q: Will it work on other devices?
A: This will probably work with all devices with codename "goyave", it will not work on other devices.
Q: Lineage os is booting for a long time, is it broken?
A: No, first boot takes a really long time, you need to wait.
You will need:
- A micro sd card with at least 2 gb of storage,
- a micro usb cable,
- a PC/laptop,
- odin 3.10.* or higher: link,
- lineage 14.1: link,
- twrp for goyave (download version 2.8.7.0 img.tar): link,
- GApps (architecture: arm, android: 7.1, variant: micro): link
- magisk (rename from .apk to .zip): link
Steps:
1. Turn off your device and boot into download mode by pressing and holding home + vol down + power
2. When you see a screen with a warning, press vol up and connect your device to your PC/laptop
3. Run odin on your PC/laptop, click on "AP" and select the twrp you downloaded.
4. Go to options tab and untick auto reboot, then click on flash, after 2 seconds it should say "PASS". Disconnect your device.
5. Hold vol down + power, when the screen goes black, immediatelly press and hold vol up + home untill twrp appears.
6. Copy lineage os, GApps and magisk to your sd card and insert it into your tablet.
7. go to wipe and then format data, type "yes" and then enter.
8. go back and the go to install, select your sd card at the top and select lineage os, then swipe to confirm flash, after it completes, reboot to system.
9. Wait for lineage os to boot up and setup it.
10. reboot your device and when it is rebooting, hold vol up + home to boot into twrp.
11. go to install, select your sd card and select gapps and wipe cache after it is complete. repeat this with magisk. reboot to system.
Done! You can log in to your google account and see if magisk works, if the magisk app is not installed, install it from the official site.

Make sure to use TWRP 2.8.7.0.
Getting:
Code:
E:Error executing updater binary in zip '/sdcard/sideload.zip'
Error flashing zip '/sdcard/sideload.zip'
on T110
There's actually Lineage OS on the T110? Impressive. But TWRP does not boot for me. I'll edit this reply once I get it working.

2.8.7.0. I'm gonna attempt to use different versions.
Edit: No luck with the latest verison.
Edit 2: I checked which code name my tablet had and it’s “Goyawifi” so will this version of TWRP even work?

I've used this one for goyawifi: https://androidfilehost.com/?fid=23329332407589910
Or maybe this one, not sure: https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/sm-t11x-twrp-2-6-3-0-for-tab3-lite.3060819/
THIS WILL NOT WORK FOR THE SM-T110!!!
This person has no idea of what they are talking about. T110 uses a Marvell PXA986 chip whereas the T113/T116 uses a Spectrum SC8830 chip.
DO NOT FLASH THIS ON A T110!!! I REPEAT, DO NOT FLASH THIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thank you for this. Works 100% on 116 (goyavewifi) Used twrp 3.0.2.
Thank you very much for this post! I might have not found this ROM otherwise/realized it was usable for the SM-T116.
So I used my latest bathroom break to install it on my SM-T116. I would recommend not installing Gapps, unless you need the synchronisation or in-app licenses from the Google Play Store. My recommendation is using the Aurora Store for Google Play Store-apps. Even the Gapps Pico edition makes the device run a lot slower.
YT Vanced works reasonably well in non-root mode (for microg).
Notes:
- searching for update on inital install (with Gapps installed) seems to run forever, so skip that step
- Google Play Store sometimes crashes on first start
- Google Stadia essentially works, but looks very bad due to the slow connection and input lag is off the charts (even with a Stadia controller)
- Rename your device to SM-T116 in the build.prop, so that apps report it correctly
I also had some issues with my device turning off during high-load scenarios, but that turned out to be an issue with the battery browning out.
Installed this on my SM-T113, no problems so far. I took Creeju's advice, and instead of installing Gapps I installed MicroG. Thank you for posting this, my old tablet is now a lot faster with newer software
