Hello, I've removed the stock gallery app in favor of Google photos but I want it back now and can't seem to install it through the apks available, seems like it's because there is no odex, most people have shared odex and APK of different apps so please if you have them please do share them! Thanks.

Thanks buddy for sharing app.
I am not able to install this app, it shows application is not installed, it think this is system app, how do i install this app.
I think stock 'Ebook.app' requires stock 'Framework' to install and work (it also needs 'My Files.app'), somebody correct me if wrong...
Somebody please help me to install stock system app.
I use FBReader. It seems to work with almost any book that I download.

try this, open with winrar, 7zip, winzip or any archiever application, add your desire .apk file to system/app then flash it via CWM (system app only). This work for ICS CM9/AOKP, not tested yet to any GB ROM base, just let me know if its working

How do you create apk of built-in apps? I have AppInstaller which allows me to make backup .apk of apps that I install, but it does not show any of the built-in apps. I would definitely like to have .apk's of all built-in apps before flashing a custom ROM (when they become available), because I use QuickOffice a lot and it is included free - don't want to have to pay for it to add it back in to any other ROM.

Hi folks, I was removing bloatware and also removed the Music and Videos apk from my Note running 2.3.6.
I backed up using Titanium Backup but TB won't restore the apps.
It gets stuck trying.
Could someone please post these two stock apks for me:
Music v1.2
Videos v1.0

The stock video/music apps are not all that great.
From the market place you can get much better ones, many of which are free.

I'm currently experiencing my default gallery app freezing my entire phone after I open it. I'm not sure whats wrong but thiso nly occurs after I debloat my S2 Plus with titanium backup after root. I'm using the latest Stock Samsung ROM firmware: I9105PXXUBNG1, released on the 1st of July. (Android 4.2.2).
Does anyone know any of the stock apps that are needed for gallery to work peroperly?

i don't know if "Gallery" depends on other apps or not... i think it doesn't!
so i suggest using another gallery app, the original gallery is soooo slow and now you have a chance to try another one!
or you can try replacing gallery.apk in /system/app/ with an original gallery.apk
So I was debloating and deleted the galaxy apps, but I've now chnaged my mind and want them back. Does anyone have an apk for them? Thanks!
