New kid in the ROM arena, FlexOS is off to a great start with 1,000 G+ members in first month of its existence. You may ask: why another CM based ROM? This one has most of the features that other ROMs do, organised conveniently in FlexControl. It can be considered as an alternative to Bliss, EOS, etc. Anywho, I don't need any more excuses to build a ROM, let's just face it - flashing ROMs is an addiction, as well as building them, lol.

Been "living" with May 17th edition since last night so here's my verdict (wow ! -easyy tiger ) so far
(anyone interested in a very early -ie "unboxing"- genuine and fresh impression please check this post: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=60805610&postcount=550)
EXCELLENT in speed, smoothness and stability, more towards "smoothly / fluidly fast" than snappy (by God listen to this - flashaholics are really bonkers, aren't we ? ). No real issues that I came across so far (Gravity Box clashes with some of the built in settings but this was expected for a feature rich ROM -and there's workarounds too)
PLENTY of FEATURES - nothing I could think of really missing that could make one's life easier, and most of them conveniently gathered in settings->flex control but also "hiding" elsewhere (ie Ambient display under Settings->Display & lights or Nav bar buttons under Settings->buttons but also Smart call in Phone app settings->Calls).
LOVELY Lantern player with plenty of features (and without scrollbar getting in the way of three dot menus)
Lots of "personality" for all of the above plus graphics - especially this AWESOME BOOT ANIMATION that makes getting stuck in a bootloop a pleasant experience. Also try to kill all apps on the recents panel and then re-enter recents just to see what's there.
Overall, I should think this is an excellent, feature packed ROM !
Which rises the question: Which ROM would you add feature requests to ?
It was officially (unofficial) Bliss until now (and Broken up to a certain extent since, AFAIK, it was obviously NOT OK to complain about things not working in Broken but requesting features was allowed).
(Maybe they will all finally merge and form "the grandoughter of all ROMs" - who knows ? <encho probably >)

Great everything works for me on this ir works so I'm staying! after using all of your other roms this one is brilliant found my new daily. That boot animation rocks. If I didn't take my epilepsy meds I swear that would trigger a fit haha. Keep that boot animation.

A few notes from the developers....
This is a beta build, so there may be a few bugs lurking in there, please don't report them like it's the end of the world; in all likelihood, they're already known issues.
If you REALLY feel like reporting a bug, please accompany it with a logcat; if you don't know what that is, please learn before asking in the comments section; we prefer to keep it clean. Bugs without logcats shall not be entertained, and will be ignored.
The proper way to report a bug is a neat and concise explanation of the issue, followed by a logcat. Also, please report any kernel mods/magisk modules/xposed modules/non-supported theming or hacking/tampering with the source/ANYTHING AT ALL that differs from the instructions posted above, it may be a factor.
Do not insist that the devs solve your "issues" or "bugs", they are most likely solving them already.
Please be polite and respectful in the comments section, and refrain from annoying the devs/maintainers, they are already pretty annoyed about the bugs themselves; help us out here
And finally, please don't hesitate to ask us a question, we can be reached using the information in the "Contact Us" section below.

What happened to Colt os? Won't there be any more updates? I am using it since so long..v1.3 and I am getting 7hrs+ sot.. It lasts for around 21 hours after fully charged.. Anyone reading this.. Is this okay or excellent in comparison to stock miui?

The power menu text disappears on applying the dark or grey theme in color engine. This should be an easy fix I guess.

A few notes from the developers....
This is a beta build, so there may be a few bugs lurking in there, please don't report them like it's the end of the world; in all likelihood, they're already known issues.
If you REALLY feel like reporting a bug, please accompany it with a logcat; if you don't know what that is, please learn before asking in the comments section; we prefer to keep it clean. Bugs without logcats shall not be entertained, and will be ignored.
The proper way to report a bug is a neat and concise explanation of the issue, followed by a logcat. Also, please report any kernel mods/magisk modules/xposed modules/non-supported theming or hacking/tampering with the source/ANYTHING AT ALL that differs from the instructions posted above, it may be a factor.
Do not insist that the devs solve your "issues" or "bugs", they are most likely solving them already.
Please be polite and respectful in the comments section, and refrain from annoying the devs/maintainers, they are already pretty annoyed about the bugs themselves; help us out here
And finally, please don't hesitate to ask us a question, we can be reached using the information in the "Contact Us" section below.

Introducing Descendant's new UI:
Quick Status Bar Header has been redesigned;
QS Panel has been redesigned and now includes Descendant's QuickView.
Descendant's QuickView is a peek view that holds the most useful informations in the QS Panel which includes:
Clock, date, carrier, battery estimates.
Every element of this view is tappable and will redirect you accordingly to:
Your default clock app;
Your default calendar;
Carrier/data settings;
Battery fragment.
Notifications UI it's now centered.
General notfications UI improvements.
Volume Slider has been redesigned (winks at MIUI).
Clear all text has been replaced with a button.
Q Clock impovements.
Charging animations has been refreshed.
More icons have been added in Settings preferences.
Settings now always shows title, even on main dashboard.

Available in Settings -> Apps and notifications -> Notifications
It's a feature that prevents app opening on Headsup tapping.
Battery personalizations settings has been moved out of Utility preference in Settings, and it's now available under Settings -> Battery

It's a feature that changes the notification title alignment (needs reboot).

1. Buttons customization
2. Swipe on status bar to control brightness
3. Notification ticker
4. OTA

Great ROM but doesnt have Display color calibration feature for which i cant use this rom because my display panel suffers screen burn issues.

Use riru with magisk. Now gravity box do the remaining work.

Nice UI, specially Notification and QS that reminds me so much of ONE UI (from samsung devices)
The gestures and button customs are something i missed in tom but Gravity Box solved the issue

Bug (kind of)
I have to restart for
-seeing what i install in magisk manager (list do not show anything after install, i have to reboot)
-apply any setting in gravity box
-Device Health Services kept on stopping (so i had yo uninstall them. It might be because of microG)

Its nice but I have some problem. My SIM card isn't detected after few reboots and the network speed status location is a bit weird near middle. Thank you!
