Really, i don't see any reason to get this app. Has potential but if it is unable to function on its own, i'll try something else. Also would not let me get m4a without using some other app. Might serve a purpose for somebody. Me? Useless.

Vanced is a well known modded version of YouTube with many features such as adblocking and background playback and many more.
Features in all versions are the same. There is a slight difference in the Non-Root however. Since the package name had to be changed, the Google Play Services won't play along. This means that you have to install additional MicroG package, in order to be able to log-in.

Do you really want to tell me, that there is need to download application for doing such easy action? Youtube has added the possibility to download all you need directly from the site. Moreover, there is always possibility to download audio and video using youtube into mp3 converter in such situation, when youtube doesn't allow to do it directly from it. Hope, you will understand now, that this application is useless.

Hi Forg, thanks for the feedback. Downloading via the YouTube app is only supported in select countries.
You could copy/paste the video URL to a website, however some prefer apps like this which make the process a little quicker/more convenient.

Yeah its not possible to download from youtube app where I live.
And itos is a pain in the arse having to copy paste , this app is for lazy ****ers like meself. Dont mind moody michael haha its a good app.

Few Tips & Notes
It is recommended to use WiFi instead of using mobile data (as some carriers like Airtel - India block access to visiting YTS website due to which the app will fail to load data.
If you get an SSL issue (HTTP 525) then it means the official domain is offline. The app can't do anything in this case as I don't own the website just scraps it. Usually, such an issue resolves in few minutes or might take an hour (in rare cases).

Sure you installed the latest v1.6? This is due to YTS website is offline. Nothing from my side! Should be resolved in few minutes or might take an hour!
You can manually check if yts.mx website is working or not. If not then the app can't do nothing until it comes online.

What is the maximum quality of the videos on this website? I sincerely like the interface. I'm watching everyday movies from my smartphone and it's kind of hard sometimes to close ads on streaming websites and so on.

I've only browsed and downloaded a couple songs, but I'm really impressed. The interface is very clean and user friendly. I can't attest to the integrity of the files downloaded (i.e. whether if it's the highest quality possible based on source) because I don't have enough knowledge of how things work. When I downloaded one of the songs it was 128 and it sounded fine.

You have to install arm64 one.
New updates have been pushed with fixes and optimization. Check GitHub repository of songtube.
