I cannot get google assistant to work because my device isn't eligible. I've tried editing the build.prop but it just keeps restoring to original after boot.
Does anyone have any suggestions to get google assistant?
I'm running stock Rom
Rooted
Bootloader unlocked
Twrp installed
Android 6.0

I lean my tablet to a now EX-friend. the tablet was locked with his credentials so I had to re-initialise it.
however, it now ask me to input the previous credentials in order to re-enable the tablet (wich I don't and can't obtain since I don't talk to that jerk anymore) samsung and google won't help me with this issue. I have the proof of purchase to ensure I'm the legitimate owner if needed.
is there a way to hack / flash in order to make the device forget this anoying step?

yes I did. and as I mentionned, I'm on 6.0.1 and this will only work on 5.x
they fix this loophole on 6
anything else?

Hi as the title says I am new to root and recovery I look the forum for this but get stock with all the info not knowing what files/apps I need so some help is appreciated.
Tab is a Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 with Android 4.2.2 Model GT-P5110 Kernel 3.0.31-1238973 Build number jdq39.p5110xxdmh2.
Question can be rooted on linux (Ubuntu) if not I need to ask a friend to use is pc, thanks for your patience and info.

Hi thanks for the links but pc don't see tab install driver but is not working for some reason, tab stock at odin mode downloading....
Install keys software it tell me to get premissions from admin [email protected]@k windows 10, any sugestions, thanks.

Are you referring to Windows preventing the drivers from installing and stating that their "Unsigned Drivers"?

Yes I can install the driver as admin but still don't see the tab or the cable is damage because it takes long time to charge tab I will try this

Hi reporting back after ordering new cable I done the root/recovery with odin and install Slim 7 from https://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-tab-2/galaxy-tab-2-unified/rom-slim7-t3661612 new life to Galaxy 10.1 for just £22, thanks.

hope you r all good i just wanted to know about the smartstay feature how to port it, I've been searching and trying for a week now on how to get it to work on the J2 Prime but no luck.. i have managed to unhide it from the setting app its showing but its not working.. im sure im missing something some jar ou lib files
can someone point me to how to make it work ?

Hello,
Trying to solve problem with rooted Asus Zenfone 4 pro X00ID, sorry if this topic already exists, anyhow couldn't find info and I am at the dead end at the moment.
Managed to root Zenfone with magisk, though didn't do any backup with twrp, my bad.., Then accidentally launched system update which lead to phone won't turning on.
Tried to upload stock firmware with fastboot, gives missini android txt. something
Twrp can't install firmware because it recognizes device as x00I, though it states on device that it is x00ID, and I really can't find any info on x00i.
Any ideas?

So i was changing ROM and everything got well...then i rebooted my phone from recovery and didnt open...i tried everything i could, the only sight of life is when i connect my phone to my pc there is a sound. i tried unbrick from multi-tool 8 still doesnt open.Can i do anything else or my phone is dead?
